Knowing she was out of immediate danger, Xiaoyouzi pointed to the three people over there and asked, "What's the meaning of tying us up here?"
“Of course we meant no harm,” Edson explained to himself, adding casually, “It’s actually because of you.”
Little Yuzi's brain was working at lightning speed.
This guy doesn't look like a good person. Edson, there doesn't seem to be anyone named Edson in the Italian mafia. So what gang does this guy belong to?
And, I heard?
Who told you that?
Little Yuzu suddenly remembered that there was Wi-Fi on the plane.
Could it be that the fact that he saved someone on the plane has been leaked?
Seeing that Xiaoyouzi was deep in thought, the man did not press her, but waited for her answer with great interest.
The translator beside him stood motionless, unmoved.
Little Yuzu sighed softly: "You know what happened on the plane, right?"
“Yes.” Edson chuckled, his expression surprisingly alluring.
The little pomelo remained unmoved.
It was indeed leaked.
Otherwise, how could people be blocking the entrance right after getting off the plane?
Little Yuzu secretly breathed a sigh of relief.
At least these people weren't after my brother.
They came for her, not for her.
She stared intently at Edson for a moment: "Your relative was in a car accident and has been unable to walk for a long time, hasn't that been the case?"
"How did you know?" Edson asked in surprise.
Little Yuzu said to the translator, "I know a little about face reading."
The translator was somewhat surprised and told Edson about it, also explaining to him what the "flower country face" meant.
Edson's eyes widened as he listened, his gaze towards Little Yuzu growing increasingly excited, as if he were looking at some precious treasure.
"There are such powerful people in the Flower Kingdom?"
Edson excitedly asked Little Yuzu, "Can you tell what's going on with me? Show me your face, and I'll let them go."
Upon hearing the translator's words, Xiaoyouzi wasn't very surprised. She simply shook her head coldly and said, "I can read your face, but you have to pay. That's the rule."
"Could you explain why he has to pay?" the translator asked, adding, "I need to know the reason why he has to pay so I can communicate with him."
His voice was pleasant, his pronunciation was clear, and his gaze towards Xiaoyouzi was gentle.
Little Yuzu glanced at him and thought he was a bit strange.
But it's not clear what's wrong with it yet.
She shrugged and explained the rules.
The translator nodded.
Edson, seeing that the translator hadn't spoken for a while, said anxiously, "What's wrong? What are you saying that's taking so long?"
After listening, the translator immediately spoke with Edson and explained why this was necessary.
Edson narrowed his eyes and sized up the little grapefruit.
Finding nothing amiss with Xiaoyouzi, he smiled and said, "Okay, transfer the money."
Without saying a word, Xiaoyouzi took out her phone, asked the translator for the Wi-Fi password, and opened her Alipay account after connecting to the hotspot: "Alipay transfers are supported, dear."
Edson watched as the translator used the software to transfer 50,000 yuan to Xiaoyouzi.
After receiving the money, Xiaoyouzi's expression changed, and she looked at Edson intently.
Edson initially had a smile on his face, but it gradually faded, and he looked at Yuzu with a stern expression.
Little Yuzu paused for a moment, then began to speak: "Your whole family died when you were ten, leaving only you and your younger brother who is two years younger than you."
You were adopted and turned into a cold-blooded machine; only your younger brother can bring you some joy.
At eighteen, you killed your adoptive father, took over his business, and expanded your territory with your younger brother.
When you were twenty, you were assassinated, and your younger brother was crippled in both legs while protecting you. Now you're twenty-seven, and your brother's legs haven't healed in seven years, right?
The translator's eyes widened in astonishment.
Is this something I can hear without paying?
There were other people around, so the translator leaned close to Edson and whispered something to him.
Everyone knows about these things.
Aside from the fact that he killed his adoptive father, only he himself knew about it.
Edson's expression changed as he looked at Xiaoyouzi: "How did you know? Who told you?"
"Your face will betray you." Little Yuzu remained unfazed, unafraid that he would kill her.
Edson stared at Xiaoyouzi with a cold gaze for a long time before saying, "You're very capable, so you know that I want you to save my brother."
“My little brother saw you save someone on the plane. He took some pictures and sent them to me. He thinks you can save my brother.” Edson waved, and the others immediately took off Luo Yan’s blindfolds.
As Luo Yan and the other two regained focus, they saw Xiao Youzi confronting a man, surrounded by a number of men in black who looked ready to fight at any moment.
Xiao Ye and Qin Feng exchanged a glance, then tried to figure out if they could break the thick hemp rope.
Luo Yan, however, showed a slight change in expression when he looked at Edson, but then returned to normal.
What happened?
This man is Edson, the new godfather of the Karab Black Party; I've heard he's incredibly ruthless.
Noticing the probing gazes from not far away, Edson glanced at them indifferently, then gave Little Yuzu an apologetic smile: "I'm sorry, I can't let them go."
As he spoke, he pointed to Qin Feng and Xiao Ye not far away: "Especially those two men, they look very powerful."
You do have some sense of crisis.
Little Yuzu frowned slightly: "What if I can't save your brother?"
Hearing what Xiaoyouzi said, Edson wasn't angry, but just had a faint smile on his lips: "If you can't save my brother, then you'll have to go to the sea to feed the sharks."
