Chapter 334 The Melancholy Emperor, Cassius

Inside Anders' room.

Little Yuzu calmly watched the two of them whispering to each other.

She was already mentally planning what expression she should make to look like it was none of her business.

Over there, Edson's expression changed drastically after hearing this, and his gaze towards Xiaoyouzi was full of inquiry: "Who are you? What is your purpose in coming to Italy?"

He hadn't thought things through before, and he just grabbed the person back like a straw.

I initially thought they were just harmless people, but I never expected they could cause such a big problem.

It's so bad that he now feels a headache.

Little Pomelo: Is it possible that you just knocked it?

"Huh?" Little Yuzu blinked her innocent eyes, her clear, big eyes looking blankly at Edson: "What are you talking about?"

Her voice was soft and sweet, completely different from before.

Like an innocent and naive child.

Edson was a little confused.

He gathered his thoughts, his voice heavy: "You've messed with someone you shouldn't have, don't you know that?"

"Who did you offend?" Little Yuzu's voice was questioning, her expression innocent.

Thanks to my previous hard work in honing my acting skills, I can now handle it with ease.

Edson didn't look at her again, but said, "They've come with ill intentions."

Little Yuzu looked completely bewildered.

Edson glanced at her reaction and, seeing that she seemed genuinely unaware of anything, breathed a sigh of relief: "Come down with me for a moment, and I'll do my best to protect you."

“Okay.” Little Yuzu nodded and stood up to follow Edson.

Edson took two steps forward, then suddenly stopped and turned back to look at Xiaoyouzi, his tone fierce and his eyes ruthless: "You'd better not know anything!"

"I don't know," Little Yuzu shook her head.

She smiled as Edson walked away.

"Don't go down yet."

Edson left them waiting for a few minutes before taking Little Yuzu downstairs.

As soon as Xiaoyouzi went downstairs, she saw a handsome man surrounded by twenty or thirty bodyguards.

The man had chestnut hair and emerald-like eyes.

Unlike Edson, the man's eyes were emerald green.

He saw Edson first.

Those eyes were different from Edson's; they carried a gloomy and melancholic light, a blend of indifference and aloofness that made them captivating.

He has a high, slightly upturned nose, beautiful lips, and a faint smile.

This is a very handsome Western face.

He was nicknamed the Melancholy Emperor.

After all, no one could have imagined that such a person would be the godfather of the Italian Mafia.

"Who is this?" Little Yuzu asked softly.

But in my heart, I had my own guesses.

If he comes at this time, it's probably that Sicilian mafia godfather who got screwed over by his brother, what's his name again?

Edson scoffed, "None of your business."

He walked down the stairs, his face devoid of a smile, and said coldly, "Cassius, what are you doing on my turf?"

“You took my people.” Cassius stood in the lower position, yet he looked down at Edson with an air of superiority.

A strange glint flashed in his eyes. "I'll leave as soon as you hand over the person."

Without Edson's permission, Cassius sat down in the head seat.

Edson frowned slightly, said nothing, and went over to sit down.

Little Yuzu followed behind him, taking advantage of her short stature to quietly hide behind the sofa.

Cassius glanced at the back of Edson's sofa with a strange feeling, but didn't see anything before looking away.

Edson, with an elegant demeanor but an icy tone, said, "Cassius, this is not the attitude one should have when visiting someone's home."

"We've kept to ourselves, but you've trespassed on my territory. Are you trying to declare war on us?"

Cassius suddenly laughed, a gentle and kind laugh that concealed a ruthless edge: "Don't be so angry. I heard you had four guests here today."

"What I want is right here."

The two were speaking Italian, which Little Yuzu couldn't understand, and she frowned from behind.

She scratched at the leather sofa with her little paws, and quietly peeked out from behind Edson to sized up Cassius.

This is quite something.

Goodness, I was so focused on her beauty just now.

Upon closer inspection, this person's gentle and tender face was filled with murderous intent and ruthlessness.

A person so ruthless that even ghosts wouldn't dare to mess with them.

"Yeah?"

Edson turned around and his eyes met Little Yuzu's.

He asked in English, "Do you know him?"

Little Yuzu shook her head: "I don't know her."

“You saw it too, she doesn’t know you.” Edson crossed his long legs, casually placed his hands aside, and looked at Cassius with hostility.

Cassius wasn't annoyed: "What do you mean by that?"

"This is the guest I brought today. You should have investigated him, right?" Edson replied calmly.

Cassius glanced at Little Yuzu and smiled at him: "Little kid, you know something, don't you?"

He spoke in English, and Xiaoyouzi could understand him.

She looked at Cassius and felt only danger from him; she wanted to leave. "What are you talking about?"

"Speak plainly, is she the one you want?" Edson looked at Cassius with icy eyes.

He actually wanted to turn against him directly.

But this is his home, and his younger brother is still lying inside.

Cassius smirked: "Of course, this isn't the girl I want. You've brought back more than just this one, haven't you?"

“I’ve locked the others in the attic,” Edson said casually. “If you’re going to take anyone from me, you’ll have to compensate my terrified brothers.”
