Chapter 35 The Snake: A Wake-Up Call

"Green Fairy" is an international competition, divided into nature and portrait categories.

Ten days ago, Cruise scouted the location and sent the photos to the official email address.

The selection process will last for one month.

Cruise has been in a good mood lately because of the photos.

"What are you laughing at?" Cruise's friend, Carly, looked at him irritably and took a sip of coffee.

Cruise chuckled and said, "I participated in 'The Wizard of Oz,' and made a fantastic film."

"Congratulations, oh well." Kale sighed, his expression not looking too good.

Carrasco is an internationally renowned director who has won numerous awards. His favorite genres are suspense and science fiction films.

He is known as the king of suspenseful science fiction.

He sat opposite Cruise with a worried expression.

Cruise glanced at the sweet smile of the little grapefruit on his screensaver, and his heart was healed.

He put down his phone and looked at Kale with a puzzled expression: "What happened?"

After taking a big gulp of coffee, Kalai said dejectedly, "We're currently preparing to shoot a suspense film and are looking for an actor."

"Big or small?"

“The little one,” Kalai said after thinking for a moment, “would be as beautiful and charming as an elf.”

Cruise scoffed, "What's so difficult about that? There's plenty of that."

Many foreign actors were very beautiful, elfin-like figures before they got older.

They're plentiful, but their flowering period is relatively short.

No, no, no.

Kalai immediately denied it: "I'm tired of those elves, I want an Eastern face."

"What's the story script like?" Cruise raised an eyebrow, looking at Carly with some interest.

Carly turned his computer around: "Look at this character, we need a little girl from the Flower Kingdom."

"There's someone I think I can recommend to you." (Qianqian Xiaoshan)

Cruise took out his phone and turned it on: "What do you think of her?"

Who is it?

Kale casually remarked, "How pretty can it be?"

Although he needed an Asian face this time, he still felt that the little girls here were cuter.

"You still don't believe me!"

Cruise placed his phone in front of Carly: "Open your eyes and take a good look."

The phone screen lit up, and Xiaoyouzi, dressed in a light green elf outfit, stood in a flower bush, wearing a crystal crown on her head, with a bright smile on her delicate and pretty face.

Like a warm and comforting little sun.

"This was taken in the indoor garden; it would definitely look even better outdoors! Let's make plans to participate in the Sony World Photography Awards next time." Cruise smiled smugly. "How about it? Not bad, right? It perfectly meets your requirements."

Kalai sat up straight, his eyes fixed on Xiaoyouzi.

He quickly tugged at Cruise, urging, "Is there anything else? Quick, let me see!"

This look is absolutely perfect!

"Want to see? Beg me!"

Little Yuzu, busy with her work, was unaware that another business opportunity was about to come her way.

——

"Brother, did you hear that rustling sound, like a snake crawling by?"

As the group walked through the woods, Xiaoyouzi suddenly stopped and tugged at Luo Li's sleeve.

Luo Li listened carefully: "What sound is that?"

After a pause, Luo Li asked in a low voice, "What kind of sound did you hear?"

"I heard the sound of a snake crawling, like this."

"Bang!"

Little Yuzi snatched Luo Li's stick and hit the grass with it.

The bright green snake head bounced up, with black ring patterns on it.

If it hadn't been for the little pomelo giving it a whack, it wouldn't have been visible at all among the weeds.

"Holy crap! A snake!"

Cheng Cheng was terrified and clung to Xiao Ye, crying out, "Xiao Ye, snake, snake, snake, snake!"

"I know, I know, I've been manipulated by Xiaoyouzi." Xiao Ye pulled him away, looking at her with disdain.

Pressing the snake's vital spot with a stick, Xiaoyouzi frowned: "Its head is triangular, it must be poisonous."

"Let me scan it." Li Lan held up her phone, hesitant to step forward.

Wen Luo took her phone: "I'll do it."

"bite!"

“It’s a palm viper, a highly venomous snake,” Wen Luo said.

The little pomelo pressed down hard, and the snake violently swung its tail, about to escape.

"Is it a protected animal?" With one foot on the snake's tail, Xiaoyouzi looked at Wen Luo with her dark eyes.

Wen Luo glanced at all the documents: "They're not protected animals, don't worry."

"That's fine!"

Little Yuzu raised her leg as if to kick it, then put it down with some doubt: "Can we eat this snake?"

"It's poisonous, don't eat it."

Luo Li disagreed, saying, "Don't think about eating everything! It's poisonous! Extremely poisonous!"

"I don't want to eat!"

Little Yuzu glanced at Luo Li with disdain, "Watch me!"

Suddenly, Little Yuzu stomped on the snake's head, crushing it to pieces.

Everyone had already witnessed Xiaoyouzi's formidable strength, so they were no longer surprised.

Just as Xiaoyouzi was about to speak after releasing the stick, she saw the snake's headless body move.

"Hey, hey, hey, why is it still moving even though it has no head?"

Startled, Cheng Cheng stumbled back several steps, nearly stepping on Li Lan.

Be careful.

Xiao Ye quickly helped him up.

"Hahaha."

Little Yuzu mocked, "Brother Cheng Cheng! Snake is dead!"

Xiaoyouzi dug a hole with a stick, kicked the now-motionless snake's body in, and buried it: "Let's go."

"Everyone be careful," Li Lan said, trembling. "Watch your step and your head."
