Chapter 362 The Serial Murderer

Qin Zhen said, "The matter started from..."

Not long ago, a murder occurred in a pork processing plant in the city. The victims were two people who were thrown onto pig hooks and suffered multiple injuries. Their deaths were gruesome.

The factory owner discovered this and called the police.

Police investigation revealed that both men had connections with the florist.

Further investigation and review of files revealed that the two men were thieves, and the shop owner was the victim of their thefts.

They first ruled out the proprietress as a suspect.

Later, they caught a very suspicious big man who was an employee of the factory.

The burly man had a crush on the flower shop owner. He overheard the two men stealing from her and beat them up.

After the incident, everyone thought that the big man was the one who killed the person, and someone reported him.

When the police arrived at the factory, the big man ran away.

After being caught, the big man refused to admit it. The police did not find any conclusive evidence, but they obtained the big man's alibi.

Finally, the police found themselves in a dead end.

Qin Zhen continued, "If it weren't for what you said, we wouldn't have suspected the florist."

"What happened next?" Little Yuzu asked curiously.

Qin Zhen said, "At first, no one noticed anything about the florist. She was a delicate girl, so no one thought of that possibility."

"After your reminder, we paid attention to his movements and found that he often puts fertilizer in a small area." Qin Zhen paused here, wondering whether to continue.

Little Yuzu was already engrossed in the story: "Keep going, I want to hear more!"

"The fertilizer in that place is made by people," Qin Zhen said, then stopped there.

Little Yuzu immediately understood what was going on: "He killed a lot of people, right? To use them as fertilizer?"

“Yes, those two thieves went to his house to steal things, discovered his identity, and he killed them. Later, he got the big man's key, opened the factory door, hung the two of them up there, and planned to grind them up with the dead pig meat.” Qin Zhen said this with some reluctance.

Little Yuzu pursed her lips: "But there was an accident?"

“Yes,” Qin Zhen said. “That night, there was supposed to be a batch of dead pig meat that was to be minced, but the deputy director of their factory wanted to sell the pork and make a quick buck, so they stopped and planned to dispose of it the next morning.”

Hearing this, Xiaoyouzi frowned: "But it was the factory manager who reported it."

"Yes, the factory director also has vested interests, but I won't go into details." Qin Zhen sighed.

If everyone hadn't been hiding things, the case wouldn't have escalated to this point.

Little Pomelo nodded: "What happened next? How was the verdict reached?"

"We finally found her hair fragments in the body's pocket, and dug out other bones from the fertilizer, which led to her conviction," Qin Zhen said, then sighed.

Little Yuzu pursed her lips: "So, what's the explanation on your side?"

Qin Zhen then got to the point: "We want you to join the Special Cases Investigation Department..."
