Xiao Youzi quickly said, "He doesn't understand Chinese. There are two of us here to eat hot pot."
"I see." The young lady at the door glanced at Edson, then smiled at Xiaoyouzi and said, "Then I'll arrange a table for two for you, is that alright? Please come with me."
"No, I won't." Little Yuzu refused the young lady's arrangement and instead said, "I want a private room."
The young woman looked a bit troubled: "If it's just two people eating, the private room is a bit expensive and not worth it."
"I can afford it." Little Yuzu smiled.

The young woman glanced at Edson and asked, "Does he know?"
“He listens to me.”
So, the two followed the young lady into a private room.
The young lady picked up the ordering tablet next to her and handed it to Xiaoyouzi: "Hello, you can order what you want to eat here."
"OK."
Little Yuzu was very satisfied after glancing at the large table in front of her.
She ordered so many plates of beef that this big table wasn't even big enough.
After a series of actions on the tablet, Xiaoyouzi handed it to Edson: "Just click the plus sign under the dish you want to eat."
"You ordered so much?" Edson stared at the tablet in disbelief, then looked at Xiaoyouzi with suspicion: "You ordered so much, can you finish it all?"
Little Yuzu patted her little belly: "I'm so hungry, I could eat as much meat as a cow!"
She ordered more than a dozen different kinds of meat, including chuck, brisket, shank, and beef balls, two of each.
Even Edson, who loves meat, had never seen this way of eating.
Little Yuzu glanced at him and comforted him, "Don't worry, these are just small plates, a thin plate of meat, not even enough to fill my teeth."
"Excuse me, did you order the spicy hot pot base?" Not long after Xiaoyouzi finished ordering, a waiter came in with the printed order slip in his hand.
Little Pomelo nodded: "Yes, all spicy and numbing!"
"Our beef, corn, and carrot soup base is even better! It tastes even better with dipping sauce after cooking," the waiter said, noticing that one of them was a child and the other was a foreigner.
The main reason is that very few people order the fully spicy and fully numbing hot pot; basically no one eats it that way. At most, people order a half-and-half hot pot.
Little Yuzu waved her hand: "It's okay, this is how we eat it."
"Okay, the order has been processed. I'll go arrange it." The waiter placed the order on Xiaoyouzi's table and then left.
Unable to understand, Edson asked, "What were you talking about just now?"

The first thing served was the bottom of the pot.
"Glug glug." The pot that had just been served was already boiling, and the aroma was irresistibly wafting into their noses.
Little Yuzu couldn't help but exclaim, "It smells so good!"
"It smells delicious." Edson, who was eating hot pot for the first time, couldn't help but nod.
The male waiter placed the pot on the corresponding stove, and the female waiter next to him had already prepared everything.

After the waiter left, Xiaoyouzi looked into the pot.
The large iron pot originally had several large pieces of red oil at the bottom, but now they are almost completely absorbed into it.
The bubbling soup pot smelled delicious, and the bowl was covered with oil, chili peppers, and many other ingredients, making it very tempting.
Little Yuzu licked her lips at the bottom of the pot. Just looking at the color and smelling the aroma made her mouth water.
Edson, who had initially looked on with curiosity, now genuinely wanted to try it: "How do you do this? I'll do it."
He got up to get it, but Xiaoyouzi refused.
Little Pomelo: "If you don't know how, I'll demonstrate it for you first."
As she spoke, she poured in the beef balls that were meant to be cooked longer, and then used a slotted spoon to put them into the pot.
The strainer has a forked A-shaped support at the front end, which fits perfectly against the edge of the pot, making it easy to eat after cooking.
The other hand was placed on the edge of the pot.
Little Yuzi picked up a plate of meat and poured it in, then used a slotted spoon in one hand to scoop it into the pot while stirring with chopsticks in the other.
After eight seconds, she scooped up the slightly pink beef and placed the front end up on the pot: "It's ready to eat. Have you prepared the seasoning?"
"I'll do whatever you do." Edson wouldn't listen; he could only obey Little Yuzu.
Shrugging, Little Yuzu said, "Okay, then I'll do as I say."
He prepared a sauce and placed the small pomelo in front of Edson: "You can dip it in and eat it later."
"Um."
Little Yu picked up a piece of beef, blew on it, rolled it in her dish, and ate it in one bite.
