Chapter 391 A Natural Refrigeration Machine You Deserve It.

This is a Thai ghost.

Xingdai could only understand the word "mother," and couldn't understand anything else. She was completely illiterate and couldn't even communicate.

However, the word "mother" was still very easy to recognize; she knew that the little devil outside was looking for his mother.

His mother is very likely his junior sister.

"Mom, why are you ignoring me?"

Not getting a response from Xingdai, the little devil outside continued his muttering.

"Mom, why are you crying?"

"Mom, don't you love me anymore? But I've already done what you asked!"

"Is it because that person didn't die that you don't want me anymore, Mom? It's all my fault for being useless!"

"Mommy, please hug me!"

"Mom, I'm so cold..."

The little devil's voice grew sharper and sharper, eventually becoming piercingly harsh.

Xingdai only understood "Mom," and those two words became increasingly distorted and terrifying.

She was terrified, and could clearly sense the little ghost lurking outside.

"Thump!" The little devil's hand landed on the blanket.

The taut blanket made a sound, startling Xingdai.

"Ah! Don't touch me! I'm inside the barrier!" Xingdai shouted with her eyes closed, trying to reduce her fear.

The little devil doesn't understand words, but he knows how to scream.

He called for his mother outside for ages, but Xingdai wouldn't come out. His dark eyes turned bloodshot, as if tears of blood were streaming down them: "Mom, don't you want me anymore? Mom... you said you'd love me forever... are you lying to me...?"

Later on, the kid's voice became shrill and distorted.

Xingdai felt a chill run down her spine and dared not utter another sound.

Sudden!

The little devil fell silent.

The surrounding noises ceased, and the world returned to normal.

She could hear the loudspeakers outside, which meant things had returned to normal.

Xingdai stayed inside the blanket barrier for a long time, feeling anxious and apprehensive, before she could barely feel safe.

She silently poked her head out from under the covers.

Under the yellowish light, there was nothing outside, and the surroundings suddenly became quiet again.

Xingdai looked around and, seeing no ghosts, secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

Does the blanket barrier actually work?

"Mom? Are you looking for me?"

Just as Xingdai's thoughts were wandering and she thought she was saved, a cold voice rang in her ear.

It was as if a thunderclap had exploded in her ears.

"ah!"

Xingdai screamed incessantly.

When she looked up again, she found that the little devil had disappeared again.

"Mommy, come play with me!"

Before Xingdai could even catch her breath, she felt something pressing down on her legs, both of which were ice-cold.

Looking down at the blanket, Xingdai noticed a small, lumpy object moving closer to her.

"Mother……"

“I’m not your mother!” Xingdai shouted instinctively.

The little devil glanced at her, then placed his icy little hand on Xingdai's leg again.

"ah!!!"

The tactile and visual impact caused Xingdai to scream in agony, almost fainting.

The little devil grinned and slowly crawled towards Xingdai.

The little devil, still a bit away from Xingdai, tilted his head and said in a cute, affected manner, "Why is Mommy so afraid of me? Didn't you say I'm your favorite baby? Why are you afraid of me?"

All Xingdai knew was that the little brat kept calling her "Mom," so she immediately said, "I'm not your mom, you've mistaken me for someone else!"

She immediately stood up and shook off the brat, wrapping herself in the blanket as if she wanted to press herself against the wall: "Don't come near me, I'm not your mother!"

At this moment, the little brat, sensing Xingdai's utter disdain, stared at Xingdai almost frantically, shouting, "You are my mother!"

He screamed, and his hand transformed into sharp claws as he reached for Xingdai.

Just as the little devil was about to grab Xingdai's heart.

"Bang!"

A scorching heat arose, and the flames, without burning anything, shot directly onto the little devil's body.

"Ah!" The little devil screamed miserably and disappeared.

Standing at the head of the bed, Xingdai stared in horror at the spot of ashes for a long time before gradually coming to her senses.

She had barely come to her senses when her legs went weak and she collapsed onto the bed.

The aftereffects are terrifying.

Thankfully, I had the talisman Xiaoyouzi gave me, otherwise I might have died here.

Xingdai reached out and turned on all the lights in the room. Looking at the empty room and listening to the car sounds outside the window, her hand slowly reached into her pajama pocket.

She took a shower that night and found that she had nowhere to put the talisman except for a small pocket on her chest, so she put the talisman on her chest.

Thankfully, he let go, which saved his life.

"Um?"

Xingdai reached into her pocket and felt around, then froze: "No, it's gone?"

The talisman that Little Yuzu gave herself has disappeared, leaving not even a trace of ash.

Xingdai's pupils dilated, and the terror in her eyes became even more difficult to dispel. She trembled as she picked up the plush rabbit next to her.

Suddenly, Xingdai's gaze fell on her legs.

Beneath the shorts, her fair legs bore numerous purplish-blue handprints from her calves to her thighs.

Those handprints were all very small; they were clearly from that little devil from earlier.

Feeling scared, Xingdai took out alcohol from the drawer, sprayed it on a tissue, and wiped herself.

It's useless.

The marks are very obvious and cannot be wiped off.

She felt a chill run through her body and quickly took out her phone, not caring about anything else, and immediately called Xiaoyouzi.
