Chapter 423 Your hands are colder than those of someone who has killed fish ten years ago!

"Your condition is quite serious." Little Yuzu frowned. "How could this be?"

Anders opened his mouth: "No, I don't know."

He uttered those three words with great difficulty, stuttering and stammering.

Little Yuzu frowned slightly. "Alright, stop talking. Let me take a closer look."

Her hand was placed on Anders' pulse again.

The pulse doesn't sound like there's anything wrong.

But that's where the problem lies.

How could Anders, a man recovering from a serious illness, have such a stable pulse, looking like a normal adult with no signs of weakness?

But when I took his pulse last week, it showed that he was severely deficient and needed nutritional supplements and treatment for his mental illness.

Anders looked at her weakly: "What's wrong? Where did the problem lie?"

"Stop making noise." Little Yuzu frowned.

She refused to believe that she couldn't find the problem herself.

Pressing on Anders's wrist, which was nothing but skin and bones, Xiaoyouzi frowned and checked his pulse again.

This time she was even more careful, closing her eyes to feel it.

Suddenly, a slight ripple caught Little Yuzu's attention.

She grabbed Anders' wrist and stared at him: "Something just cut through your veins."

"Huh?" Anders panicked. "Is it a horsehair worm?"

When Anders was bored and didn't go out, he watched a lot of disaster movies.

This horsehair worm is one of them.

Little Yuzu rolled her eyes: "No, there's only one."

I don't know what it is, maybe...

As if she had thought of something, Xiaoyouzi began to stare at Anders' wrist, and placed her hand on the pulse point.

After staring for ten minutes, the thing was about to speed past again.

"Smack!"

"ah!"

Little Yuzu slapped Anders' wrist, and Anders cried out.

"Don't get agitated," Little Yuzu said casually, "I've pressed that thing down for you."

Anders immediately bit his lower lip, not daring to scream.

Xiaoyouzi took out a silver needle from her bag and sealed the blood, blocking the thing there.

The thing could be clearly seen wriggling through Anders' pale skin.

This terrified Anders, who witnessed it firsthand: "Ah!"

He let out a short shout before the quick-thinking little pomelo stuffed a blanket into his mouth.

"Shh, be quiet." Little Yuzu's expression wasn't good.

Anders nodded helplessly.

I had to nod; I felt like I was going to get punched.

Little Yuzu pulled a small knife out of her bag: "I'm going to make a cut for you in a little while. It won't leave a scar and it won't hurt much. Just bear with it."

"Ugh! Ugh! Ugh!" Anders could only stare helplessly at the little grapefruit.

"Just bite down on the blanket, we're going to wash anyway." Little Yuzu sniffed and gave Anders a disdainful look.

The moment the cold knife touched Anders' skin, his eyes widened, and a hysterical scream escaped his throat: "Ugh! Ugh!"

He arched his body upwards like a fish on a chopping board, trying to shake off Xiaoyouzi.

Little Yuzu pressed down directly, her tone unfriendly: "Don't move around, I haven't even started yet."

Anders' eyes were filled with terror, and he wanted to hide.

With a slight frown, Xiaoyouzi watched as the needle on his arm wobbled precariously, then pressed it directly onto Anders' Shangxing acupoint.

Anders immediately lost consciousness.

"Honestly, it's so noisy."

Little Yuzu glanced at Anders with disdain, but seeing that he had stopped struggling and was relaxing, she began to work with peace of mind.

She applied a disinfectant and numbing ointment to the area where the insects were.

Based on her understanding, this should be a Gu worm, a fat Gu worm that has drunk its fill of blood.

Glancing at the small bump on her fair wrist, Xiaoyouzi held a knife in one hand and sterilized tweezers in the other.

With a forceful slash, Anders' wrist was cut open.

Surprisingly, not much blood flowed out.

Little Yuzu coldly watched the worm trying to burrow inside, then used tweezers to pinch it.

About half an hour later, Anders woke up.

"hiss."

When he woke up, he felt a sharp pain in his wrist.

I glanced over and saw that the area had already been sealed off with wire.

"It hurts so much." His voice was still hoarse. He looked around anxiously before finally spotting Xiaoyouzi sitting in a chair playing on her phone.

Hearing Anders's barely audible voice, Xiaoyouzi looked up at him and asked, "You're awake?"

Wearing a mask, she got up, opened the door, and said to Edson, who was watching TV irritably in the hall, "He's awake and wants water."

Edson jumped up, quickly went to the kitchen to get a glass of water, and was about to go inside.

"Wait." Holding Edson's wrist, Little Yuzu frowned slightly: "He's a patient, and you're just giving him cold water?"

Edson was somewhat puzzled.

Italians don't really like drinking hot water; they always drink ice water. The previous medication was already at its limit.

Seeing Edson's puzzled look, Little Yuzu suddenly had an idea: "You didn't mean to have been giving him cold water all along, did you?"

“We mostly drink ice water,” Edson honestly replied.

Little Yuzu frowned and shook her head: "No, drink warm water, go now."

"I don't have a kettle here," Edson said, somewhat embarrassed.

He moved to this house in a hurry, so he didn't have many things, not even a cook.

With a sigh, Little Yuzu went into Edson's kitchen.

Fortunately, there were pots and pans in the kitchen.

She filled a container with drinking water, heated it a little, and then poured it out: "I'll take it inside for him; you've already taken a shower."

"How is Anders?" Edson asked Little Yuzu with an anxious look.

Little Yuzu raised an eyebrow: "Don't worry, everything's fine."

Once inside the room, Xiaoyouzi helped Anders up and gave him some warm water: "Drink it all."

"Hot?" Anders held the glass, not really wanting to drink. "I want a glass of ice water to soothe my burning throat."

Little Pomelo said coldly, "Drink it now."

Anders opened his mouth as if to say something, but Little Yuzu glared at him and said, "Listen to me."

"Oh." Anders obediently finished his water.

It wasn't that he was naturally well-behaved, but rather that he was afraid because Xiaoyouzi could tear piranhas apart with her bare hands.

Staying here was incredibly boring, and it was quite an achievement that he managed to watch all of Xiaoyouzi's variety shows.

He admitted he was somewhat shocked when he saw Xiaoyou tear the piranha apart with her bare hands.

Those fair and delicate little hands, how could they be so cold! Colder than the fish that people have been butchering at RT-Mart for ten years!

"Alright, tell me what happened to you. When did these symptoms appear?" Little Yuzu stood on her tiptoes, looking coldly at Anders.

Leaning back against the backrest, Anders murmured, "I don't know what happened. I didn't eat much, basically the same as my brother."

"Oh?" Little Yuzu's eyes narrowed slightly.

Anders felt a little guilty and immediately changed the subject: "What's wrong with me?"

Little Pomelo: "You've been bewitched, this time it's..."
