Chapter 533 Do you want to become his apprentice?

I returned to school the next day.

The last class in the morning is art class.

This class didn't have many complicated procedures.

The newly appointed art teacher, Yang Kai, stood at the door and called out names one by one.

They call one in at a time.

After most of the people had come in, Yang Kai frowned as he looked at the list: "What's the situation with these few people who aren't here? Where's the class monitor?"

The class monitor immediately stood up and said, "Li XX is absent today, and the rest of the students don't know."

"Okay, I understand."

Yang Kai put the list away and glanced at the time: "It's still early for class. Familiarize yourselves with the list, and I'll write down today's questions first."

He turned around, his slender fingers holding the chalk, and the characters he wrote were slender, vigorous, neat, and beautiful.

Mu Siyu was the first to chime in: "Wow, the teacher's handwriting is so beautiful!"

"Tch!" Jiang Qian scoffed.

Mu Siyu glared at him with displeasure: "What are you doing now?"

"fine."

Seeing this, Xiaoyouzi said calmly, "Jiang Qian could indeed learn from you. Your scribbles always get points deducted for neatness in your Chinese exams."

The already low grades were compounded by the loss of so many points.

Jiang Qian immediately fell silent.

Wen Tian stared at the font above and said curiously, "How did you practice this font? I'd really like to learn it."

"No need, he writes with so much force, Tian Tian's handwriting is already very beautiful," Xiao Youzi praised with a smile.

Wen Tian immediately stopped looking at the text and glanced at Yang Kai's message: "Today we're going to draw a still life."

After Yang Kai finished writing, he took out an apple, a horizontal bar, and a triangular pyramid from his small basket.

He didn't say anything, just waited for everyone's reaction.

The previous teachers also taught in a very imaginative and free-flowing style, allowing everyone to express themselves freely.

It now appears that Yang Kai plans to systematically teach everyone sketching.

After the school bell rang, Yang Kai tapped the blackboard: "Okay, students, quiet down, we're about to start class."

The class monitor immediately shouted, "Class begins!"

The deputy squad leader chimed in, "Stand up!"

Hello, teacher!

After greeting everyone, Yang Kai asked them to sit down and wrote his name, Yang Kai, on the blackboard: "Teacher's surname is Yang, given name is Kai. You can just call me Teacher Yang."

“Teacher, you look familiar!” a boy below said excitedly.

The other student nodded in agreement: "I feel like I've seen this somewhere before."

Ling Luci, who was unusually awake, asked with bright eyes, "Are you Teacher Yang, the creator of 'God Realm'?"

"It's me."

Yang Kai smiled slightly and raised his hand to stop Ling Luci from continuing: "We can talk about it after class. Now we need to hurry up and finish our lessons."

He smiled gently and spoke softly, and no one objected anymore.

Even Ling Luci nodded obediently.

"Today, we're going to learn sketching, starting with a still life drawing." Yang Kai's voice was very gentle, and he also drew on the blackboard while explaining.

He briefly explained the general steps and drawing method: "Now everyone can start drawing, and the teacher will continue explaining."

Upon hearing this, the students all picked up their pens and began to draw.

This was Xiaoyouzi's first time attending Yang Kai's class.

As soon as she started teaching, she felt that he was completely different from Qiu Sitong; he seemed to be genuinely teaching.

At this moment, Yang Kai had already put down the chalk and stepped down from the podium.

He looked very handsome today, wearing a long-sleeved shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows. He was holding a small stick and giving pointers to the students who were drawing as he walked.

After giving his instructions, he continued speaking.

Little Yuzu watched his actions with a slight frown.

Yang Kai walked at a steady pace, with his own rhythm.

His voice was like a clear spring, drawing people in effortlessly.

only……

"Little Pomelo".

Yang Kai suddenly stopped talking and called out to Xiao Youzi.

Everyone's eyes turned to look at them.

Little Yuzi, holding a pencil, squinted her eyes, the sunlight shining on her giving her a golden glow.

Under the light and shadow, Xiaoyouzi's long, curled eyelashes cast a fan-shaped shadow.

She was dozing off.

"Cough cough cough!" Yang Kai coughed lightly twice, trying to wake Xiao Youzi up.

Unfortunately, Little Yuzu seemed to have really fallen asleep and wasn't responding.

Seeing this, Mu Siyu tugged at Xiaoyouzi's sleeve and whispered, "Xiaoyouzi, wake up!"

"Huh?" Xiaoyouzi blinked, opened her eyes, and turned to look at Mu Siyu: "What's wrong?"

Mu Siyu didn't dare to speak, but gestured with her eyes.

Little Yuzu was still a little dazed: "Is your eye twitching? Should I tell the teacher and take you to the infirmary?"

"OMG!" Mu Siyu held her head, not wanting to say anything.

The little pomelo next to her was stunned for a moment, then looked up and met Yang Kai's smiling eyes.

Little Yuzu pursed her lips and hesitated before speaking, "Teacher, would you believe me if I said the sun is too warm and I want to hibernate?"

"Is my class boring?" Yang Kai didn't get angry; he looked at Xiao Youzi with a smile.

Little Yuzu instinctively wanted to nod, but thankfully she managed to stay calm.

Shaking her head, Little Yuzu said, "How could it be boring? The teacher's lessons are lively and interesting, I love them..."

"Really? What did I just say?" Yang Kai asked, still smiling.

Little Yuzu was speechless.

Oh, what did you talk about?

I had absolutely no idea!

"I'm sorry," Little Yuzu said readily.
