"Ring ring!"
The phone rang, sounding somewhat shrill and abrupt.
Little Yuzu frowned as she glanced at the caller ID.
It was a WeChat call from Feng Yuandan.
Thinking of the lucky charm she had given her earlier, Xiaoyouzi frowned and answered the phone: "Dandan, what's up calling me so late?"
“Little Yuzu!” Feng Yuandan cried out, “Waaah, Little Yuzu, so many things around me are screaming.”
"Ah!" Feng Yuandan screamed, "The talisman you gave me has burned to ashes! How terrifying they are!"
Hearing Feng Yuandan's shrill screams, Xiaoyouzi immediately shouted, "Turn on the speakerphone!"
"Okay!" Feng Yuandan turned on the speakerphone with trembling hands, and heard Xiaoyouzi's voice coming from inside.
The little pomelo was reciting something, and the chilly feeling around them instantly dissipated.
A few minutes later, Feng Yuandan said with delight, "Little Youzi, that sound is gone from my side, it seems like it's all better now!"
"Okay, Dandan, don't be scared, just tell me what you heard," Xiaoyouzi said patiently.
Feng Yuandan stammered, "I didn't hear you very well, I'm afraid of them."
“Don’t be afraid now, think it over carefully,” Little Yuzu asked patiently from the side.
After sobbing a few times, Feng Yuandan said through tear-filled eyes, "I heard them screaming and calling for help, begging me to save them."
She couldn't hear the rest very clearly.
Little Yuzu frowned slightly.
Feng Yuandan's recent behavior has been strange.
When Xiaoyouzi left today, she quietly told her that she could call her if anything happened.
I didn't expect to receive a call that evening.
"They won't be looking for you tonight. How about I take you to the Taoist temple tomorrow?" Little Yuzu naturally wouldn't tell her classmates about her skills, so she could only make up an excuse.
Feng Yuandan asked, "Little Youzi, who taught you all that?"
"Which ones?" Little Yuzu asked in confusion.
All I heard on the other end of the phone was Feng Yuandan saying, "It was what you just read. As soon as you finished reading it, all those strange things disappeared."
What is it?
“Those were taught to me by a Taoist priest. I wrote them down for you, so you can recite them when you’re still scared,” Little Pomelo replied with a smile.
Feng Yuandan breathed a sigh of relief: "Okay, I was afraid they would come back to find me. I was so scared."
“If you’re scared, you can sleep with the lights on.” Little Yuzu read a few more words to her before taking out her phone and sending her the mantra she had read that day on WeChat.
After dealing with Feng Yuandan's matter, Xiaoyouzi heard Feng Yuandan's thanks on the other end of the line and then casually hung up the phone.
Next, we just have to wait for Xiaobai to come back.
She prepared Xiaobai's pajamas and made up the small bed, then sat on the carpet and started watching a show while waiting for Xiaobai.
They waited all night.
Little Yuzu fell asleep right there on the carpet.
Luckily, the heating was on inside, otherwise I would have caught a cold.
*
The next day, it snowed last night, and now there is a snow scene outside the window, and there is also some sunshine.
Little Yuzu is sleeping soundly.
The curtains moved slightly, opening a crack.
A ray of sunlight shone in and fell right on Xiaoyouzi's face.
The pale golden sunlight made Xiaoyouzi's cheeks glow, like a golden apple.
Xiao Bai walked up to Xiao Youzi, his body radiating coldness.
She saw the little dress that Xiaoyouzi had prepared for her on the table, and turned to leave.
Not long after, Xiaobai, wearing pajamas, sat down in front of Xiaoyouzi.
He reached out and gently touched Xiaoyouzi's cheek.
The sunlight made her cheeks feel slightly warm.
Xiao Bai called softly, "Little Yuzu, wake up, I'm back, I have something to tell you."
"Um?"
Little Yuzu, who was sleeping soundly, felt something touch her cheek, again and again, very lightly.
She opened her eyes groggily.
What catches the eye is Xiaobai's delicate face.
"Xiaobai, you're back?" Xiaoyouzi got up and realized that she had a stiff neck from sleeping on her stomach.
She tilted her head, cradling it in her hands, and exclaimed, "Ouch, how did I end up sleeping like this?"
Turning her head, Xiaoyouzi saw the sunlight outside the window and was speechless: "Ah, I slept until dawn."
Yes, that's right.
Xiao Bai's cool voice rang out: "You've been sleeping all night. When I came back, you were sleeping face down."
"Hey, I waited for you so late yesterday, what time is it now?" As she spoke, Xiaoyouzi tapped the tablet in front of her.
The tablet didn't respond at all.
Xiaobai said helplessly, "It must be because you were watching it while it was on, and the tablet ran out of battery."
"Thank goodness, I thought it was broken." Little Yuzu quickly got up to charge the tablet.
After plugging it in, Xiaoyouzi asked, "What did you discover yesterday?"
She squatted down, opened the safe, and took out a set of acupuncture tools.
Looking in the mirror, Xiaoyouzi gave herself acupuncture.
The crooked neck will be fine in a little while.
Xiao Bai sat down next to her and said, "Yesterday I went home with your teacher."
"Wait, I remember you were very angry when you got close to Qiu Sitong, because you could sense something strange about him."
Little Yuzi tilted her head, recalling the events as she received the injection.
Nodding, Xiaobai said, "Yes, but he wasn't the one who killed me. I remember, it wasn't him in the end."
"You have memories now?" Little Yuzu suddenly twisted her neck, forgetting that she was getting acupuncture.
