As she spoke, she danced like a butterfly, happily going inside to fetch the dishes.
This left Ms. Sun completely bewildered. She looked at Xiao Ye beside her and couldn't help but ask, "Hello, little friend, what's your name?"
"My name is Xiao Ye." Xiao Ye nodded to Ms. Sun as a greeting.
The little boy sat up straight, looking just like a Boy Scout from the army.
Ms. Sun nodded, then said, "Why does your mother look so happy?"
"My mother can't cook. She smelled the food at the door and really wanted to eat, so she came to say hello." Xiao Ye revealed Zhou's ulterior motives without batting an eye.
Upon hearing this, Ms. Sun burst out laughing: "Hahaha, this is so cute! Where's your dad? Call him over for dinner."
"No need." Xiao Ye shook his head: "My father is on a mission and doesn't have time to come over for dinner."
"Oh, is that so? Then you can come over for dinner every day from now on, okay, Xiao Chengzi?" Ms. Sun turned to look at Xiao Chengcheng beside her.
Xiao Chengcheng was holding a peeled orange in each hand and putting it into his mouth.
Seeing the look in his mother's eyes, he nodded as if struck by a sudden inspiration: "Okay, okay, then will Mommy cook delicious food every day?"
“Of course.” Ms. Sun raised an eyebrow, seeing right through Xiao Chengcheng’s cunning scheme.
After thinking it over for a moment, Xiao Chengcheng immediately raised her hand and said, "Then I want Brother Xiaoye to come to my house for dinner every day!"
"Yes." Ms. Sun nodded.
Ms. Zhou, who was carrying dishes out, immediately asked excitedly upon hearing this, "Shall we eat together? Can we do it again in the future?"
"Okay." Ms. Sun nodded.
She smiled and said, "Anyway, I'm just staying home all the time, and cooking is one of my hobbies, so I might as well cook for you all too."
"That's wonderful, thank you so much." Ms. Zhou held Ms. Sun's hand, her face beaming with smiles.
The four of them sat down and started eating.
Just then, the sound of a lock being opened came from the doorway.
When Mr. Cheng pushed open the door, he was surprised to find four people sitting at the dining table: "What?"
"Old Cheng, you're back!" Ms. Sun immediately waved and said, "Come here, let me introduce you to them."
Mr. Cheng put his briefcase down, put on his slippers, and sat down next to Ms. Sun.
He turned his head to look at Ms. Sun: "Who are they?"
"This is our neighbor who just moved in next door. This is Zhou Ni, and this is her son, Xiao Ye," Ms. Sun introduced to Mr. Cheng with a smile.
I also mentioned that we would all eat together in the future.
Mr. Cheng couldn't help but ask, "Is your husband in the military?"
"Yes, he's on a mission and won't be back until once a year," Zhou Ni said with a helpless smile.
Mr. Cheng then said, "It's alright, come to our house for dinner next time. They work very hard."
"Okay, thank you." Zhou Ni smiled and thanked her, then nudged Xiao Ye beside her.
Xiao Ye immediately put down his chopsticks, stood up, and saluted. "Thank you for your hospitality. I'll be relying on you again in the future."
Xiao Xiaoye breathed a sigh of relief: finally, he wouldn't have to eat his mother's cooking anymore.
"Oh dear, this child is too formal," Mr. Cheng said, but couldn't help but laugh.
He patted Cheng Cheng, who was engrossed in eating and oblivious to everything else, and said, "Cheng, learn from your brother Xiao Ye."
"Oh, oh, oh." Cheng Cheng didn't hear a word and continued eating with her head down.
Ms. Sun and Ms. Zhou chatted while eating.
Xiao Ye and Cheng Cheng were born in the same year.
The only difference is that Xiao Ye's birth month is March, while Cheng Cheng's is May.
He's only two months older than him.
The two ladies chatted for a while, like old friends who had met too late, and had so much to talk about.
They talked until Xiao Ye frowned and tugged at Ms. Zhou's clothes: "Mom, I haven't done my homework yet."
"Ah, right." Ms. Zhou stood up and smiled apologetically at Ms. Sun: "I'm sorry, Dandan, I lost track of time chatting with you. I should go back now. I've kept you all occupied for so long."
She was beautiful and spoke gently, and Ms. Sun was completely captivated by her: "Okay, okay, I'll see you to the door."
"Little Chengzi, say goodbye quickly." As she stood up, Ms. Sun didn't forget to pat Chengzi on the shoulder while she ate fruit.
Thinking about how delicious the meals would be from now on, Xiao Chengcheng immediately surrendered and shouted, "Bye-bye Auntie, bye-bye Brother Xiaoye."

After the door closed, Ms. Sun turned around and saw Mr. Cheng looking at her.
I don't know how long I've been waiting at the door.
She asked, puzzled, "What's wrong? What are you doing standing at the door?"
"Honey, you two have only known each other for one day, and you're already this close?" Mr. Cheng looked at Ms. Sun in disbelief.
Ms. Sun rolled her eyes: "Ni Ni is a good person, gentle and beautiful, and kind-hearted."
"Oh my, you're praising me now," Mr. Cheng couldn't help but tease.
He was surprised by how quickly the woman became familiar with him.
It was as if we became friends the moment we met.
"You don't understand, tch." She rolled her eyes at Mr. Cheng and turned back to her room.
Seeing this, Mr. Cheng quickly followed.
As I passed by the restaurant, I casually said to Xiao Chengcheng, "After you finish eating, wash the dishes, go to bed early, and remember to turn off the lights."

Meanwhile, Ms. Zhou took Xiao Ye back to her home.
Seeing her son's meticulous demeanor, Ms. Zhou couldn't help but ask, "A-Ye, don't you like them?"
"No, it's fine," Xiao Ye replied earnestly.
He truly believed that Aunt Sun was a very good person, and that her cooking was so delicious that he could eat his fill.
