After eating, Xiaoyouzi took a nap and woke up in the afternoon.
She took her tablet, walked to the French windows, sat down on the carpet, and began to draw the scenery outside.
The view here is fantastic; outside the window are blue skies and white clouds, and below are other people's rooftops.
It can be said that the Luo Group building is the tallest building in this area.
Luo Chen glanced at Xiao Youzi's location, making sure she was alright, before continuing his work.
"Thump!"
After an unknown amount of time, Xiaoyouzi was engrossed in painting the scenery outside the window when she suddenly heard the dull thud of a cup falling onto the carpet.
Xiao Youzi turned around and heard Assistant Cheng's apologetic voice, "I'm sorry, President Luo, I didn't mean to. I'll clean this up right away and bring you a fresh cup of coffee."
As he spoke, Assistant Cheng, without looking up, silently picked up the coffee cup, put it back on the plate, and prepared to leave.
Luo Chen frowned slightly, his face showing displeasure: "Assistant Cheng, what happened to you?"
"No, it's nothing," Assistant Cheng immediately said. "I just got distracted."
Seeing that Assistant Cheng was evasive, Luo Chen's voice turned cold: "Assistant Cheng, I don't want you to let other things affect your work. Please give a truthful report."
"President Luo, this..." Assistant Cheng seemed very hesitant to speak.
She was driven almost crazy and had no idea how to talk about it.
Little Yuzu got up, looked at her carefully, and suddenly frowned.
Assistant Cheng looked visibly more haggard than he had in the morning.
It was as if something had drained their energy and spirit.
Xiao Youzi put down her tablet, walked up to Assistant Cheng, and accidentally stepped on the carpet spilled with coffee: "Sister Cheng, did your family come to see you at noon?"
"Huh?" Assistant Cheng looked at Xiaoyouzi in surprise, seemingly not understanding why she suddenly said that.
Then, she looked at the spot where Xiaoyouzi was standing and pulled Xiaoyouzi away: "Miss Youzi, this place is dirty. I'll have someone come in and clean it up. Please don't step on it yet."
"No need, we can just change the carpet for my brother later." Xiaoyou waved her hand, then grabbed Assistant Cheng's cold hand: "Your problem is more serious, don't you want to solve it?"
Assistant Cheng looked troubled and struggled with his expression: "Miss Yuzu, this matter is not as simple as you think. No, it's not appropriate to tell you."
The main problem is that this is so outrageous that even if she told the truth, probably no one would believe her.
Seeing Assistant Cheng's hesitation, Xiao Youzi had no choice but to go all out: "I'm a fortune teller and a celestial master. I can handle anything related to the people below me."
Assistant Cheng could no longer hide the astonishment on his face.
Xiao Youzi smiled and winked at Assistant Cheng: "Don't you really want to solve the problem and get some more sleep?"
"Miss Yuzu, what do you mean by that?" Even the usually capable Assistant Cheng couldn't help but stammer.
It felt like a dream.
Little Yuzu gave a cute smile and tilted her head: "Didn't you hear me? I can let you get a good night's sleep so they can't bother you anymore."
"I……"
Assistant Cheng glanced at Luo Chen, then at Xiao Youzi, his eyes still filled with surprise and disbelief.
At this point, Luo Chen became important.
He walked over to Xiaoyouzi and looked at Assistant Cheng: "Our Xiaoyouzi is very capable. She studied with a master. You can trust her."
The pride in his voice was simply irrepressible.
Assistant Cheng pursed his lips, about to say something, when he heard Luo Chen say, "But you can't get something for free."
This is the key point Luo Chen wanted to make.
Xiaoyouzi must have wanted to help Assistant Cheng because of him.
Waaaaah, she's such a wonderful little sister!
While Assistant Cheng was still in a daze, Xiao Youzi pulled her to sit down: "Sister Cheng, can you tell me about what's been going on with you lately? I'll analyze it for you."
She could tell that Assistant Cheng's family had serious problems, but she was still very curious about what Assistant Cheng had gone through.
Shaking, Assistant Cheng said with a look of utter despair, "It's like this, since last week, I've been having a recurring dream where my deceased grandfather is with several people around his age, saying in my dream that he feels unwell all over and that the house is leaking."
At first, she just kept rambling on, but then she said that things in her house had been stolen.
Assistant Cheng felt the hairs on his body stand on end: "Because I was scared, and I had also heard of the saying that dreams can appear in one's home, I called my parents who live in the county town and went back to the ancestral graves in the village."
"Everything at home is fine, nothing's wrong."
“But your situation is getting worse, and they are contacting you more and more frequently,” Xiaoyouzi said calmly.
Assistant Cheng nodded: "Yes, that's right. They've been frequently appearing in my dreams lately, even in the morning, making it impossible for me to have any peace and quiet."
"Something unexpected happened while you were taking a nap at noon today." Little Yuzu noticed the faint dark aura on Assistant Cheng's forehead and already had an idea in mind.
Assistant Cheng looked at Xiaoyouzi as if she were a savior: "Yes, yes, that's it."
“It wasn’t my grandfather and the others who came this time, but a dark figure. The figure was very blurry, and it laughed wildly in my ear. My grandfather and the others just screamed once and then disappeared.”
Upon hearing this, Xiaoyouzi had another guess in her mind.
She remained calm, though her brows appeared furrowed: "Your grandfather and the others are gone, aren't they?"
"Yes."
A hint of worry appeared in Assistant Cheng's eyes, and he couldn't help but say, "Little Youzi, could something have happened to my grandfather down there? But when I called home, everything was fine, and the ancestral graves were all right."
