"Arrogant!" the demon roared. "A mere fifth-tier being? Do you think you can contend with me with just a divine artifact?"
The demon's giant claw grasped at Wu Yu in mid-air, and a ball of blazing flames suddenly burst into flames around him. This was the fire law that the demon had comprehended; he could ignite whatever was in front of him at will.
"Sorry, I don't rely on divine artifacts to survive in this other world, I rely on cheat codes!" Wu Yu retorted loudly.
Wu Yu's smile remained even as he was surrounded by flames. The scorching heat of the air was indeed transmitted to Wu Yu's body, but as long as he used his battle qi to form an outer membrane, it would only cause some discomfort and was not enough to injure him.
Wu Yu swung his sword again, cleaving a passage through the fireball.
