Jack held up one finger. "First, you're over thirty and have had a wife before, whatever the reason, you have a history of failed marriages; so I don't trust you."
“Secondly, I don’t care about the conditions you mentioned. You’ve seen my sister’s health condition. What she needs is a husband who can take care of her for me, not some so-called young talent.” Jack raised his second finger.
“Third.” As he said this, Jack placed his finger on Kevin’s shoulder, his entire palm covered in silver battle aura. “Don’t forget our identities. You should know what time this is. You deliberately chose this moment to profess your love for my sister in front of me. Are you threatening me?”
Kevin's body erupted with powerful brown battle aura, but his body continued to sink to the ground at a steady pace.
"Crack." Wu Yu heard the sound of bones popping, and cracks appeared on the blue stone slab under Kevin's feet.

Jack withdrew his hand, stepped past Kevin, and said in an icy tone, "You were defying me just now, it seems you are not convinced. The two returned to Jack's room in silence. Wu Yu couldn't help but say, "Hey, why didn't you tell me beforehand that you'd made me the captain of the guard team?"
"I'm sorry, this was just a spur-of-the-moment decision. As I just said, Kevin is not trustworthy, so I had to use this to weaken his power," Jack apologized insincerely.
“I think you’ve pushed him too far. He just likes your sister. You have to stop him, and that’s why he’s complaining. If you let them date freely, Kevin would probably support you wholeheartedly,” Wu Yu offered a different opinion.
"If I have to use my sister to win people's hearts for a mere viscount title, then what use is it to me?" Jack said disdainfully.

"I only put you in this position as an emergency measure. If you don't want to take it, you can just step down," Jack said casually.
"That's good. I thought you meant it when you said you'd marry your sister to me, but it turns out it was just a shield. I've done that before." Wu Yu breathed a sigh of relief.
“No, I have seriously considered this matter. If you two can love each other, I will support you,” Jack said earnestly to Wu Yu.
"Are you kidding me? You think you, a die-hard siscon, would actually let go?" Wu Yu looked at Jack with a lack of confidence.
“I’m not joking.” Jack didn’t even realize that this was the first time he had repeated this phrase.
"Then why is that?" Wu Yu asked anxiously.
"I'll tell you why in ten days," Jack said, providing the best possible answer.
"Alright." Wu Yu nodded helplessly, not intending to press Jack any further, since everything would be clear in ten days anyway.
"Knock, knock. Knock." After the two had been sitting for a while, there was a knock on Jack's door.
"Young Master Jack, Keton, the leader of Black Cloud Mountain Stronghold, requests an audience. He is currently waiting for you in the reception hall. Would you like to see him?"
