"Since you know, why don't you go find her?" Wu Yu asked.
“That’s her stronghold. Even an eighth-tier epic would only die if they recklessly stepped in. Our Apocalypse Society possesses the key to the Primordial Land, but it can only be used by one person at a time. Going in on our own would only be suicide,” Lawson said, shrugging helplessly.
"So you thought of me?"
“That’s right. As a man who can defeat even a god, even if Violet is on her home turf, she can’t be your match. So, do you want to go in?” Lawson asked tentatively.
"Are you so sure I'll become her enemy once I go in?" Wu Yu countered.
"Heh, with your combat strength and your good relationship with Violet before, if you could tolerate what she was going to do, how could she possibly exclude you? So, she must have done something that crossed your bottom line. Believe me, once you two meet, you're bound to have a fight," Lawson said confidently.
Do you know what she's going to do?
“I don’t know. Those god-made puppets are all monsters. The things they think about are often unbelievable. If they weren’t our own people, just thinking about them would give you the creeps. But that doesn’t matter. Since they’re the enemy, all we need to do is sabotage their plans. I believe you won’t let us down.” Lawson looked like he knew it all too well, and his body trembled as he mentioned them.
Lawson then took out a rusty, bronze-colored key and handed it to Wu Yu, confirming it one last time.
So, are you going to refuse?
"How could that be?" Wu Yu said with a helpless bitter smile. This was a blatant scheme by the other party. If he could refuse, he would never have come to this place.
"Is this thing activated by mental power?" Wu Yu asked as he covered the key with his mental power.
The key suddenly emitted a blinding light, and after a brief flash, Wu Yu was nowhere to be seen in the house.
