Chapter 347 Ning An Ru Meng: You Yue is no longer stupid (51)

The outside world is not as good as home.

Chu Yuan didn't want Yan Ling to make a scene in front of several unfamiliar servants before the house was even properly tidied up.

People probably thought the couple was incredibly sexually frustrated.

In comparison, going out for a spring outing is more conventional.

Moreover, they had been traveling all along, and although they hadn't suffered any hardship, the long rides in the carriage had left them feeling like they were about to fall apart!

Not to mention that Yanling would often get the urge to torment her in the carriage...

How can aches and pains be described simply as backaches and pains?

Find a place with lots of grass, lie down for an hour or two, that would feel great, right?

"You all pack up, my wife and I will go for a walk."

As Yanling stepped out of the room, she addressed the servants outside.

The old woman and the maid nodded repeatedly, both of them being honest and kind. "Young master, rest assured, we will clean it spotless so that you and your wife can stay comfortably."

One of the girls, who looked no more than eleven or twelve years old, secretly glanced at Yan Ling, then immediately blushed and quickly lowered her head.

Chu Yuan couldn't help but chuckle.

From a distance, Fang gently pinched Yan Ling's arm. "Did you see that just now? That little girl was staring at you with her eyes wide open."

Yan Ling curled her lip, unconcerned. "She's doing her thing, I'm doing mine."

Chu Yuan, "What are you looking at?"

"What else could it be, Miss You Yue?"

"Smooth-talking!"

No sooner had he finished speaking than Yanling helped him onto the horse.

The next moment, he also stepped onto the horse, and the two of them rode together, attracting the attention of the farmers around the village, who whispered among themselves, guessing who they were.

Yan Ling flicked the whip at the horse's rump and whispered, "It's alright. Master Kang has already arranged our identities. We're just distant relatives, staying for a few days. Our true identities won't be discovered."

Chu Yuan nodded. "Has something happened to Xie Wei and Xue Ning? They used to be very responsive when they sent messages by carrier pigeon, but this time it's been delayed for several days."

"Who knows? It might just be a delay. My brother has his own plans, so don't be too sensitive."

After saying that, he suddenly spurred his horse to gallop faster, startling Chu Yuan, who instinctively moved closer to him.

Yan Ling chuckled softly, "Hold on tight, I'll take you for a ride."

Chu Yuan rolled her eyes, thinking to herself, "Haven't we sped around enough these past few days?"

Whether it's speeding during the day or "speeding" at night, if this continues, the child will be born on the road to exile!

They ran quite a distance.

The area is surrounded by green hills and clear waters, with lush green grass and surprisingly few people.

On a flat sandy area, there were many haystacks. Yanling dismounted and led her horse and Chu Yuan over.

He casually tethered the horse to the side so it could graze and drink, then helped Chu Yuan dismount. The two of them held hands and strolled quietly along the riverbank.

Chu Yuan hugged his arm and rested her head on his shoulder.

Letting its weight fall unreservedly on the antelope, like a clingy little thing.

Yan Ling let out a pleasant laugh, "Tired?"

"Yeah, I'm so sleepy. I wanted to sleep earlier, but the room wasn't tidy up, and I'm not used to sleeping in a bed that doesn't smell familiar."

Yanling stopped in her tracks. "Am I a familiar taste to you?"

Chu Yuan was too lazy to answer, lest she fall into the trap of the cunning man.

But Yanling continued to do as she pleased, carrying her around in a circle before placing her on a flat rock. She then thoughtfully took off her outer robe to cushion her, saying, "Sit here for a while, I'll make you a temporary place to rest."

Chu Yuan: "What nest? Am I a little bird?"

No matter what she said, Yanling wouldn't listen. She took apart a few haystacks not far away, tied them up, and soon a small thatched hut appeared, except that the roof was conical, somewhat like a yurt.

He laid a thick layer of thatch underneath, and then covered it with a soft fur cushion that he had taken from the horse's back.

"Let's go, we'll go back after you wake up."

Chu Yuan looked at the thatched yurt with some doubt, "Will it work? What if it collapses and crushes us inside?"

"How could that be? Your husband's cooking skills are excellent."

As he spoke, he pushed Chu Yuan inside.

The space inside isn't large, just enough for two people to lie side by side, giving it a camping feel.

The sky was a clear blue, but the thatched tent roof was opaque, and once inside, it was noticeably darker.

This made Chu Yuan even sleepier, and her eyelids kept drooping uncontrollably.

Yan Ling rolled up a clump of grass and put it under his head as a pillow. He gave Chu Yuan another piece of clothing, because he had already taken off his outer garment and given it to Chu Yuan earlier. Now he had even taken off his inner garment and was only wearing his undergarment.

His well-defined, muscular chest was faintly visible in Chu Yuan's eyes.

They were so close that the tip of her nose was almost touching it.

If she were in a better mood, Chu Yuan would probably have been distracted long ago, but today she was really out of it. Smelling the familiar scent on Yan Ling, she gradually fell asleep without even realizing it.

"Sweet dreams." Yan Ling lowered her eyes and gently brushed a few strands of hair that were stuck to her lips.

Chu Yuan didn't know how long she had slept; when she woke up, it was almost dark.

What's most annoying is that the weather suddenly changed, and it started to drizzle outside!

"Oh! It's raining, you should have woken me up!" Chu Yuan pulled Yan Ling's clothes around her neck, then turned to see that he seemed to have just woken up as well, with a straw in his mouth, looking like a carefree playboy.

Even after Chu Yuan got up, he remained in that position.

Chu Yuan sat on the outside of the thatched yurt. "What's wrong? Don't you want to go back?"

Upon hearing this, Yan Ling looked up, and Chu Yuan immediately sensed something was wrong, but it was too late!
