"Huh? What do you know? I didn't even tell you and you already know?" Mo Mingxuan thought to himself. But he didn't ask aloud, thinking it was more important to try the claw machine as soon as possible.
Fifteen minutes later…
Mo Mingxuan was surrounded by people.
Mo Mingxuan caught a fluffy rabbit plush toy and a Mickey Mouse plush toy.
Mo Beichen, however, caught two long-armed and long-legged big-mouthed monkey plush toys, two small tiger plush toys, one lion plush toy, one husky plush toy, two cat plush toys, one pink Peppa Pig plush toy, and also caught a giant panda plush toy.
Mo Beichen couldn't put them down in his hands, so he simply placed them on the ground next to him, creating a pile.
"Dad, look how amazing this brother is! He caught so many. You only caught one for me." A little girl in a pink dress held a white kitten plush toy in her hand and shook the middle-aged man's hand as she spoke.
"Okay, Dad will keep making you lots of little dolls later." The middle-aged man secretly wiped the sweat from his forehead with his sleeve.
"Okay~ Thank you, Daddy~" the little girl said in a soft, sweet voice.
"Brother~ I want a tiger plush toy too, can you get me one?" A boy of about six years old said to a boy of about twelve or thirteen years old.
"Brother~ I want one too~"
The boy sighed and said, "Okay, I'll do my best, brother." Then he looked at Mo Beichen with a resentful expression.
Of course, Mo Beichen knew none of this.
Wang Simeng walked out of the crowd and stood in front of Mo Beichen, ignoring everyone's gaze.
"This little panda plush toy is so cute," Wang Simeng said, reaching out to pinch the toy's cheek. As a Chinese person, who could resist loving their national treasure, the giant panda?
"If you like it, then I'll give it to you," Mo Beichen said.
“Yes, Miss Wang, I have some other things here. Although I don’t have this giant panda plush toy, the others are quite nice too,” Mo Mingxuan said as he came over.
"No need, no need, I can catch it myself if I like," Wang Simeng quickly waved her hand.
After all, they had only known each other for a few hours, and Wang Simeng was already taking someone else's things, especially since the person had caught them with their own hands. How could she possibly accept that?
"It's okay," Mo Beichen said with a smile, then shoved the panda plush toy directly into Wang Simeng's hands, turned around and walked towards the claw machine, intending to continue playing.
Wang Simeng held the doll that Mo Beichen had forced on her, looking bewildered and awkwardly scratching her head. In the end, she accepted it. After all, forcibly returning the doll would only make things more awkward for both of them.
Oh well, let nature take its course. This is so complicated. Wang Simeng thought to herself.
Then she remembered that she had come over to show Mo Beichen and the other person other game consoles. Despite the stares of the crowd, Wang Simeng called out to them, "Ahem, we're surrounded by people."
Mo Beichen and his companion had been so engrossed in playing that they hadn't noticed their surroundings. Only after Wang Simeng reminded them did they realize that there were people standing all around them not far away.
He then added, "I haven't introduced you to any other more fun game consoles yet. Are you sure you want to keep playing here?"
"What game console?" Mo Beichen stopped and asked, puzzled.
Mo Mingxuan also stopped and looked at Wang Simeng.
“There are so many, it’s hard to explain them all at once. Shall we go take a look?” Wang Simeng said.
Mo Beichen and his companion hesitated for a long time before finally leaving the claw machine area with reluctance.
“Okay!” Both of them said they wanted to go and take a look.
Stepping out of the crowd, Wang Simeng let out a soft breath.
As they walked, she praised Mo Beichen, "This is your first time playing the claw machine, and you've already caught so many plush toys in such a short time! You're amazing! Anyone who didn't know better would think you'd played it before."
Could it be that he stayed in a luxury suite at the Wonderful Hotel before? And played the claw machine in the suite? Wang Simeng wondered to herself.
"I've never played it." Mo Beichen shook his head.
The three walked to the other end of the street as they talked. "These are all video racing games. They're all very interesting, and I think you'll like them," Wang Simeng said, pointing to a row of machines.
He then sat down and played a game, explaining the rules to Mo Beichen and Mo Mingxuan as he played.
After listening to Wang Simeng's explanation, both of them found it very interesting. After playing a few rounds, Wang Simeng led them around, introducing the machines as she went. "This is for shooting basketballs, this is a gift blind box vending machine, this is..."
The three of them strolled through the entire mall, and before they knew it, it was noon.
Both Mo Beichen and Mo Mingxuan were hungry. Wang Simeng's stomach was also rumbling.
So the three of them left the mall.
