Chapter 70 The Qin Crown Prince's Scheme

In a teahouse in the capital, three people were sitting in a private room.

One of them was dressed in a white robe, holding a teacup, looking relaxed and at ease.

Opposite him stood a man and a woman. The man in the green robe was handsome and dashing, with a smile on his face, but the smile didn't reach his eyes; instead, it carried a hint of coldness. The woman in red had an arrogant demeanor; even when she smiled, she maintained a haughty air.

They were none other than the white-robed man, who was none other than Qin Yuan, the crown prince of the Eastern Qin Kingdom; the green-robed man, who was the second prince, Qin Zhang; and the red-clad woman, who was the third princess, Qin Mingyue.

All three were born to the Queen of Qin and had a close relationship. The Crown Prince presented a humble and polite image in public, but he was the most calculating and scheming.

The second prince appears naive and simple-minded, but is actually ruthless and works as a henchman for the crown prince.

The third princess appears to be willful and naive, but in reality, she is willful, wicked, and malicious.

The three siblings often conspired together to scheme against the other princes and princesses of the Qin emperor. Indeed, quite a few princes and princesses fell victim to their schemes.

"Second brother, are you sure this is true?" Crown Prince Qin Yuan of the Eastern Qin Kingdom asked the Second Prince Qin Zhang.

Qin Zhang nodded slowly and said, "That's right, there's absolutely no way this matter could go wrong. Mo Beichen clearly likes the female owner of that strange shop. Mo Beichen used to be surrounded by no women."

“We can’t let them be together; it will only embolden the Qi Cang Kingdom,” said Crown Prince Qin Yuan, swirling his teacup.

"Brother, you're overthinking it."

She's just a woman, what can she possibly do? I'll find a way to get her to fall in love with me before Mo Beichen does, then I'll give her the position of a concubine, and she'll have gotten the better deal.

"Then all her things will be ours, right? After all, a woman should stay at home and please her man, not go out and show her face in public." After Qin Zhang finished speaking, the two of them burst into laughter.

"I've heard that the Regent of Qi Cang Kingdom is very handsome and doesn't have any women around him. If I could find a way to marry him, that would be a great choice," said the Third Princess Qin Mingyue with a look of infatuation.

"Leave this to your second brother! All you need to do is cooperate with my plan, and you'll get what you want," Qin Zhang said with a smile, the coldness on his face dissipating considerably, replaced by a beaming smile.

"Okay! Thank you, Second Brother~" the Third Princess said with a smile.

Crown Prince Qin Yuan's lips curled slightly, a hint of calculation in his eyes.

Wang Simeng had no idea what these three were thinking; otherwise, she would have beaten them to a pulp and then gone to the Eastern Qin Kingdom to ask the emperor how he raised his children.

However, she doesn't know this now, and she doesn't need to think about it.

"Let's go! Tomorrow, have someone investigate where that Miss Wang often appears, and try to get in touch with her as soon as possible."

After the three finished speaking, they stood up, walked out of the teahouse, and disappeared into the darkness.

The second day of the second lunar month. The dragon raises its head.

The capital city was bustling with activity, and the streets were teeming with people. Everywhere was filled with the sounds of vendors hawking their wares, as if it were an annual temple fair.

The streets are lined with all sorts of stalls, selling food and beverages, fruits and vegetables, fabrics and clothes, flowers, and so on.

The various restaurants and eateries on both sides of the street were packed with people, and their businesses were booming.

Mo Beichen arrived at Wang Simeng's estate early in the morning. He sat in the hall, drinking tea and waiting for Wang Simeng.

Soon, Wang Simeng appeared at the entrance of the hall.

Wang Simeng wore a light purple floor-length dress with butterfly patterns embroidered on the wide hem, and a pink gauze belt tied at her waist, showing off her graceful figure.

The cuffs and hem of the long dress were trimmed with gold, cascading down in a soft silver glow, like swirling clouds, which further accentuated her noble and elegant temperament.

A ray of sunlight shone through the window, leaving a golden hue on Wang Simeng's fair skin, making it appear even more radiant and delicate, like jade.

Mo Beichen looked at Wang Simeng's outfit with a look of amazement on his face.

"Si Meng, you are so beautiful." Mo Beichen stood up and walked up to Wang Simeng, unable to help but exclaim.

"Hehe. You look great today too," Wang Simeng said with a smile.

"Oh? Is that so?" Mo Beichen asked with a smile, looking at the long robe he was wearing.

"Mm." Wang Simeng nodded.

"The clothes we're wearing today... they look a bit like matching outfits, don't they?" Wang Simeng muttered to herself as she looked at Mo Beichen's clothes and then at her own.

"This man really knows how to do things," Wang Simeng thought to herself.

Today, Mo Beichen wore a purple, straight-collared robe, with a matching gold-embroidered belt around his waist. His black hair was tied up with a jade hairpin, and his posture was as upright as a pine tree, making him exceptionally handsome.

A pair of deep, dark eyes, as enigmatic as the night sky. Thin lips slightly pursed, outlining a sensual curve. Her entire being exudes an innate nobility.

Seeing Mo Beichen's outfit, Wang Simeng felt a little itchy and couldn't help but take a few more glances, her heart inexplicably racing.

Mo Beichen sensed Wang Simeng's gaze and gave her a charming smile, saying, "Simeng, let's go."

Wang Simeng quickly concealed her embarrassment and smiled, "Okay."

Wang Simeng followed Mo Beichen all the way to the carriage and got on.

The carriage slowly set off.
