Chapter 25 The Crybaby's Endless Escape (Part 6)
Those bulging eyes were only centimeters away from Si Yisi; if they were just a little closer, they would have collided directly with his face!
Not to mention—the face where those eyes are located is covered with a dense clump of hair!
Thick, coarse hair protruded directly from the pores, leaving the face riddled with holes!
Waking up in the middle of the night can be absolutely terrifying!
Si Yisi's tears flowed uncontrollably. He could smell a putrid stench emanating from the ghost that had attacked him in the middle of the night…
The ghost, its face covered in bloody tears, slowly revealed a blood-stained smile to Si Yisi—
Its mouth was blood red, completely covered by hair! It was like trees growing wildly in a primeval jungle, crowding out an entire space in the jungle!
"I... want to give you my beloved hair."
As the ghost spoke, its fine, dense hairs approached Si Yisi's face and poked him. Immediately afterward, Si Yisi felt clumps of hair, like bamboo shoots after a spring rain, rushing towards his face!
"Thank you," Si Yisi replied.
He grabbed the hair growing out of the ghost's pores and pulled it out violently!
Stimulated by this, the hair growing on her face wildly snaked outwards, trying to entangle Si Yisi's hand.
Si Yisi then gave up the idea of continuing to pull the hair off his face—and instead grabbed the equally thick black hair at the back of the ghost's head and yanked it!
They lifted the ghost's head up by its hair, just like picking up a ball.
Then Si Yisi's gaze swept over a razor placed on the bedside table. Holding the "ball" in one hand, she turned on the razor with the other.
It scraped straight at the ghost's face!
"Aaaaaaah!!" The ghost let out a soft scream; it turned out to be a female ghost.
Her face was contorted, and the black hair growing from her pores was scraped off along with small layers of skin!
The young woman living in the second-floor room was trembling, clutching her pillow. She was in a daze, and when she heard strange noises coming from upstairs, she kept burying her head under the covers.
How scary... how scary.
Si Yisi's eardrums felt like they were about to burst as he listened to the female ghost's screams. Tears streamed down his face uncontrollably. With a sob in his voice, he repeatedly slammed the ghost face against the high-powered razor, weakly saying, "Th-thank you for the gift. I really like it."
I really don't like it!
The female ghost let out a howl, forcefully pulled herself out of Si Yisi's grasp, covered her face, and backed away.
Strands of hair fell to the ground, still stained with traces of blood; it looked like a murder scene...
No, this is a scene of exterminating a ghost!
She quickly retreated in the opposite direction from Si Yisi, lifting her heels as Si Yisi, sobbing uncontrollably, pressed closer.
The female ghost took a step back, while Si Yisi took a step forward.
The female ghost covered her face in fear. Si Yisi walked away with a murderous look on his face, carrying a razor. Yet, he cried so pitifully, like a little puppy.
Innocent, pitiful, and lovable.
"Tap." The female ghost's heel touched the door, making a faint sound.
She frantically tried to turn the doorknob with her hair, but she just couldn't open it!
Si Yisi looked thoughtful. He guessed that the gift-giving process was undisturbed by outsiders—the game had probably turned the room into a completely enclosed space, where people inside and outside could not leave during the designated gift-giving time.
It's easy to imagine how devastated players would feel in such an enclosed space with no way to escape; they would become toys for the ghosts to amuse themselves, the mouse in a cat-and-mouse game.
The only hope of survival is to survive!
But... that's good.
Si Yisi smiled at the female ghost who couldn't turn the doorknob or break the door. As he smiled, tears welled up in his eyes and burst forth.
After losing her extremely intimidating hair, the female ghost's face miraculously reverted to a perfectly normal one.
She had a delicate woman's face, a standard V-shaped face, pale skin, and bluish lips.
Her face was contorted in terror, and streams of bloody tears streamed down her cheeks. She bit her lip, hugged her shoulders, and trembled uncontrollably…
"Can't leave?"
Si Yisi said calmly as he slowly walked towards the female ghost.
He walked very slowly, but his movements were like a death knell, driving the female ghost to frantically scratch at, hit, and bang on the door.
In the past, it was always ghosts who tortured and killed people!
Why, why did I have to encounter such a perverted human this time!
Instead, they became a sadistic killer!
The female ghost twisted her body unrecognizable, as if she wished she could shrink into a puddle of water and crawl out through the crack in the door, her fingers leaving deep scratches on the wooden door.
Si Yisi listened to the hissing sound of fingernails scratching the door, and looked at the pitiful-looking female ghost, thinking: Why does this make it seem like I'm the one bullying her?
I'm the pitiful one, okay? I'm trapped in this skinny little body, I can't fight at all, I can only rely on tools!
Are you as pathetic as my 414 system?!
"ah--!"
"Waaaaah—!!"
The shrill female screams leaked out to some extent.
Hiss... Qi Muyang, who was pretending to be asleep in another room on the third floor, stiffened for a moment. He cursed inwardly, thinking that a player next door was probably going to die!
But... is that kid next door's voice really that shrill? It sounds like a woman screaming!
With a gentle smile borrowed from Si Mobai, Si Yisi grabbed the female ghost's cold, stiff body and repeatedly struck her hair that hadn't been harmed.
Hearing the female ghost's screams made him feel much happier.
A moment of patience brings a moment of pleasure.
Female ghost: I need to get out! Let me out! Help! Aaaaaaaah!
The female ghost's long, black hair fell down in strands, and all the hair she depended on for survival was pulled off her forehead.
"Waaaaah~ Waaaaah..." Now she was curled up into a small ball on the door, her limbs twisted abnormally, like a dying spider.
She intermittently let out soft, ghostly wails, but when she sensed Si Yisi's displeasure, she had no choice but to stop crying.
Waaah, is it really this hard to be a ghost these days?!
I want to die! Can a ghost die again?! QwQ!
The clock in the room struck one o'clock, and suddenly, the female ghost bared her fangs and claws, smashed open the door, and ran away!
"Hmm, is it time?" Si Yisi's "hmm" was pronounced with a deep meaning, full of a strong sense of regret that it was not yet fully satisfied.
He tossed the blood-stained razor back onto the bedside table and looked at where the clock hands were pointing.
The female ghost arrived at 12:30 AM, exactly 30 minutes ago.
Is thirty minutes enough for a complete play?
Si Yisi thought seriously, "Next time... I'll remember to manage my time better."
This time we weren't done yet, will the same female ghost come in to play the game again next time?
Si Yisi clicked his tongue in dissatisfaction. He didn't want to encounter the same ghost repeatedly; how could he have fun like that?
Little did he know that the female ghost thought the same thing. She squatted in her room, touching her bald head, and burst into tears.
"Waaaaah QwQ"
The eerie sound emanating from this room became one of the factors that kept the people in the other rooms restless and unable to sleep.
Large clumps of hair were scattered around Si Yisi's bedside and near the door. He noticed that these shaved hairs were moving slightly and creeping towards the crack in the door.
They were like larvae, eager to return to the embrace of the "mother worm" ghost lady.
Si Yi was not the kind of person who would allow such a thing to happen. He looked around the room, took a glass cover, and collected the hair bit by bit.
Strangely, the moment Si Yisi touched the hair, it snapped to death and was obediently encased in the glass dome.
Once inside the glass enclosure, these strands of hair began to move slightly, swimming around like floating seaweed.
They have only one thing in common—
She huddled to one side, feeling wronged, and refused to move closer to the glass enclosure near Si Yisi.
It's easy to imagine how terrified the female ghost and the hair on her head and face must have been.
Si Yisi sat on the bed staring at the water plants in the glass dome—no, she stared at the hair for a while.
He felt that this kind of thing could be recycled. Even if it was a ghost, it would be a very cool experience to have a piece of hair from the outside suddenly invade its body, right?
He lay back down on the bed and glanced at Ah Tu, who was fast asleep beside his pillow.
Ah Tu was sleeping so soundly that Si Yisi didn't know what to say.
Next time, let's wake it up at this time. Why should a perfectly good dragon be afraid of ghosts like Chi Chun's system? Only a spineless dragon would act like that!
Little Dragon A-Tu trembled in his sleep, as if he had foreseen his tragic future.
The next morning.
Si Yisi then heard a series of urgent knocks on the door.
He was still half asleep—a natural aftereffect of crying—when he opened his eyes and got up, only to hear the sound of a key being inserted into the lock to open the door.
Si Yisi shoved Ah Tu into his pocket and opened the door.
Several players' faces, some surprised and some terrified, were reflected outside the door.
"You're not dead?"
"You, you, you, you, you! You... are you a human or a ghost?!"
The dazed young woman took a sudden step back, almost falling down the stairs, and muttered to herself.
"It's a person...it's a ghost, a ghost, a person, hahahaha!"
The young woman's cloudy eyes swept over Si Yisi and then fixed on Qi Muyang. As if she had seen something dirty, she immediately hid behind Chen Mengxi.
Chen Mengxi: "..."
Si Yisi then said to Chen Mengxi, "Cousin, it's me, it's Chenchen."
In his heart, however, he thought, "Chenchen my foot! If I don't blow your head off in the future, then my system has lost!"
"Chen, Chenchen." Chen Mengxi didn't expect Si Yisi to push this troublesome matter onto her.
While maintaining a pleasant expression, she subconsciously stepped back slightly.
"Did you see anything last night?" Chen Mengxi asked Si Yisi.
"Yes," Si Yisi answered readily.
Then he remembered something else: he found the hair clue on the second floor, so why didn't the female ghost look for the players on the second floor?
The cheerful voice encouraging people to visit each other's homes probably implies that ghosts can also visit each other's homes.
