Rainy night with my sister-in-law

Rainy night with my sister-in-law

Li Xiuman had been crying all afternoon and thought she would never cry again, but upon hearing Zhang Chunfeng's words, she couldn't help but shed tears.

He seemed unable to control himself, and tears kept falling down his face.

A beautiful woman is beautiful, and her tears have an even more poignant quality. Zhang Chunfeng didn't reach out, but simply looked down at Li Xiuman's pearly tears sliding down her cheeks.

“Actually, my mother treated me very well,” Li Xiuman said in a hoarse voice. “One year when I was sick, my mother was also seriously ill, but she still stayed by my side night after night.”

“Look at Mother’s bed. She doesn’t even have a mattress, but she puts such a thick one on it. And this wardrobe is mostly filled with my clothes. And this table in the room, I put my meals here every day and eat with Mother.”

“My mother is really good to me. Even though she doesn’t acknowledge me, beats me, and gives away all the family’s things to Chen Yaozu every now and then, she is still very good to me. I should be content, I should be content.”

Lee Soo-man kept saying this, and finally asked in a hoarse voice, "If she hadn't been kicked out of the Chen family back then, would she have never needed me in this lifetime?"

Lee Soo-man gripped Zhang Chunfeng's arm tightly, like a drowning man clinging to a floating log.

Zhang Chunfeng knew what he was thinking. He tried to comfort himself, but he still couldn't help but think about the possibility of what had happened back then. The Shen family had originally planned to send him away for life, not wanting him at all.

Zhang Chunfeng patted Li Xiuman's hand, "She had a tough time back then too."

Lee Soo-man muttered to himself, "Yes, my mother had it tough too. She couldn't raise me, so she sent me away. She must have cried back then."

As he spoke, he looked at Zhang Chunfeng with teary eyes.

No one knows for sure whether when Madam Shen sent Li Xiuman away she was heartbroken like Li Xiuman is now, or whether she felt relieved to have gotten rid of a hot potato and was able to marry into a better family.

"Yes, she must be heartbroken." For the first time in his life, Zhang Chunfeng softened his tone, agreeing with what others said to comfort Li Xiuman.

In her opinion, Li Xiuman didn't need to cry so much for Shen Shi. Her initial intention in telling Li Xiuman was simply to address the matter at hand and felt it was necessary to inform her. After Li Xiuman knew, she shouldn't beg Chen Yaozu anymore. Anyway, Shen Shi owed him, so why should she lower herself to beg Chen Yaozu for her mother's sake?

Lee Soo-man's crying truly broke her heart. After Zhang Chunfeng followed up on what she said, she noticed that Lee Soo-man was feeling a little better.

Then he took out a steamed bun, slowly tore it into tiny pieces, and fed it to Li Xiuman little by little. Li Xiuman leaned on Zhang Chunfeng's shoulder and ate bite by bite.

Outside, the rain pattered softly; inside, the candlelight flickered, and two people leaned against each other on the bed.

After finishing the steamed bun, Li Xiuman stopped crying and simply leaned quietly against Zhang Chunfeng.

The scent of Zhang Chunfeng filled his nostrils; he couldn't quite place it, yet it brought him a sense of peace. Not only did Zhang Chunfeng smell wonderful, but he was also as warm as a furnace. As the two embraced, the slightly drafty roof seemed to gain a touch of romance amidst the mountain rain, and they felt no cold at all.

Lee Soo-man lowered his head, and in that moment, he suddenly thought, "If only I had met Zhang Chunfeng sooner. Would my life have been better if I had met him earlier? What if we had met when we were teenagers?"

He thought to himself, then suddenly found it ridiculous. Zhang Chunfeng was ten years younger than him, so he should be the one taking care of Zhang Chunfeng. How could it be the other way around? He closed his eyes with a slight pang of sadness.

Suddenly I felt a moment of tenderness on my brow.

It turned out that Zhang Chunfeng saw him frowning and kissed his eyebrows and eyes.

Like a butterfly, it floated lightly onto his brow, and Lee Soo-man's already bitter heart softened in an instant. He trembled slightly, feeling Zhang Chunfeng brush past his eyebrows and eyes, across his nose, and finally rest on his lips.

This time, she didn't tie his wrists, pinch his face forcefully, or hold his hands tightly, forcing him and trapping him as if nailing him to a pillar.

There was nothing there.

He simply leaned on her shoulder, she lowered her head, and he looked up.

Their breaths intertwined. Heat passed between them, and Lee Soo-man's initially bitter heart was gradually enveloped in sweetness. However, the longer it lasted, the weaker he became, his whole body feeling powerless.

Perhaps due to his utter weakness, he involuntarily slumped onto the bed. Zhang Chunfeng naturally pressed down on him. She held him tightly, continuing her gentle kisses, and exploring deeper into his body through his clothes.

Lee Soo-man's eyes, which were red from crying and moist with moisture, showed that Zhang Chunfeng was much more skilled than last time. Even the way he hooked open Lee Soo-man's belt was now done with practiced ease, as if the two of them had been married for many years.

His heart was pounding as fast as the raindrops outside. He could have easily stopped Zhang Chunfeng's actions if he had just reached out, but Li Xiuman didn't. He couldn't explain why he didn't resist, nor why he let Zhang Chunfeng grope him.

He knew nothing. All he felt was that as long as Zhang Chunfeng was there, he was filled with joy. The scent of Zhang Chunfeng made him feel at ease, and even now, as he was being pinned down and trembling, he felt only joy.

Morality and etiquette aside, he has never been favored in his life. He hasn't tasted happiness in over twenty years, so why can't he live for himself just once?

Just this once, just this once. If it's truly a matter of being struck by lightning, then let it strike.

Rainwater from the thatched roof pelted him, and eventually he lost track of where the water came from; his pants were soaking wet. Then he felt Zhang Chunfeng turn him over, and Li Xiuman suddenly remembered the picture Aunt Liu had shown him.

Now, is that how it should be?

Lee Soo-man was startled, and a wave of pain washed over him. He had never known that such a thing could hurt so much; the excruciating pain felt like it was tearing him apart. Lee Soo-man bit his lip and looked at Zhang Chunfeng, only to see that Zhang Chunfeng's eyes and brows were filled with passion.

Lee Soo-man was in great pain, but Jang Chun-feng felt like he was about to ascend to paradise.

It turns out this thing really is this comfortable.

She was like a nail, driven into Lee Soo-man's body again and again.

Lee Soo-man frowned, but seeing how comfortable Zhang Chunfeng was, he gritted his teeth and endured it.

"Spring breeze, spring breeze, I want to look at you."

Upon hearing Lee Soo-man's words, Zhang Chunfeng turned him over, took Lee Soo-man's hand, and gently kissed it.

Time passed slowly, and the pain gradually subsided. A tingling sensation spread through Li Xiuman's heart, and his previously bitten lips involuntarily emitted sounds that made one blush. Those sounds seemed to carry the most potent aphrodisiac in the world, provoking Zhang Chunfeng to become even more ferocious.

Lee Soo-man truly thought he was going to die. His voice was hoarse and he couldn't utter a sound. His body was so limp that he couldn't move. The repeated blissful sensations made him feel as if he were ascending to heaven. He couldn't stop the tears from falling, unsure whether they were from sorrow or joy. Through his teary eyes, he could only see the red candle flickering on the table, its wick soaked in wax, burning moistly.

The candle is almost burned out; time has flown by so quickly.

After several attempts, Lee Soo-man could no longer bear it and fainted with his eyes closed.

When he slowly woke up again, it was already getting light.

"Awake?" Zhang Chunfeng smiled as she hugged him.

Before Lee Soo-man could react, he tried to sit up, but felt a piercing pain somewhere in his body.

The pain suddenly reminded him of what had happened the night before. He blushed instantly, feeling completely lost, and actually did what she did.

Zhang Chunfeng got out of bed without showing any signs of fatigue. "I've called a sedan chair. You're not feeling well, so please take the sedan chair back."

Lee Soo-man was stunned for a moment. The passion of last night was yesterday, and today she still had so many people to face. Her real husband was waiting for her at the Zhang family home.

Zhang Chunfeng reached out to help Li Xiuman, but Li Xiuman, only thinking about going home soon, unconsciously dodged Zhang Chunfeng's hand.

Zhang Chunfeng's hand hovered in mid-air. She frowned slightly. "Sister-in-law, you've turned your back on me? You were so affectionate with me last night, and now you're avoiding me?"

Li Xiuman shook his head in a panic, "I, I was just thinking about something else." He quickly explained, then looked at Zhang Chunfeng's face, afraid that Zhang Chunfeng would be angry.

Zhang Chunfeng reached out and hugged Li Xiuman's waist. Just thinking about how she had pressed and moved her narrow waist back and forth last night filled her eyes with joy.

“Now that I have done this with my sister-in-law, I am responsible for her. Don’t worry, I will ask my mother for you.”

When Li Xiuman heard that Zhang Chunfeng wanted to talk to Li Shi about this, he instinctively shook his head.

"No, don't say it yet." Ever since he married Zhang Chuntian, he had been very respectful to Li Shi. Although Li Shi treated him fairly well, Li Xiuman secretly avoided her. He couldn't explain why, but he felt that if he told Li Shi, he and Zhang Chunfeng would definitely separate.

Why?

Lee Soo-man stammered, his mind racing; lying was a difficult thing for him.

Fortunately, at that moment, he suddenly thought of this lie.

"You're about to go to the capital for the imperial examination. Why don't you wait until you pass it before you take me? That way, if something goes wrong now, there won't be anything we can do."

Zhang Chunfeng didn't see any difference between now and later.

From childhood to adulthood, anything she set her sights on belonged to her. Whether it was the Li family or Zhang Chuntian, she only cared about family ties and didn't want to fight for it. If she really wanted to fight for it, she could simply take Li Xiuman and run away to a distant place, it wouldn't matter.

But now, after careful consideration, Zhang Chunfeng realized that what Lee Soo-man said was indeed feasible.

Not only did she gain a status after graduating from high school, but Zhang Chunfeng also planned to use all her gold and silver treasures to hire Li Xiuman, so that he would never again be someone who was bought for twenty copper coins.

“Fine, but seeing my sister-in-law and brother together every day makes my heart ache,” Zhang Chunfeng said, feigning pitifulness.

Mentioning Zhang Chuntian made Li Xiuman slightly uncomfortable. Cheating is a sin in itself, but cheating on one's own sister-in-law is an even greater sin. Cheating on one's sister-in-law behind the back of one's mentally challenged husband is simply the worst of sins.

Lee Soo-man isn't the type to dislike people who are mentally challenged, but there's something fishy about what he did.

“I don’t sleep with him right now either.”

"You'll always end up sleeping in the same room as him!" Zhang Chunfeng gritted his teeth in anger, then thought that he might as well bring Li Xiuman to the capital in a few months and separate the two of them.

“Springtime is like a child’s mind; it won’t bother me,” Lee Soo-man assured him.

Zhang Chunfeng hummed in agreement, but in his heart he thought that his brother's matter was a big deal. It would indeed be better to find his brother a marriage after he passed the imperial examination and had enough money.

"Alright, I'll listen to my wife." Zhang Chunfeng smiled smugly, the word "wife" making Li Xiuman blush.

When the two went out, it was still warm; it had rained the night before, and there were no pedestrians on the road.

Li Xiuman had no idea where Zhang Chunfeng had found the sedan chair or when. The two sat in the sedan chair, and Zhang Chunfeng reached out and put his arm around Li Xiuman's waist again.

Just as Li Xiuman was about to move, he heard Zhang Chunfeng's muffled voice, "Don't move, you won't be able to hug me in a moment."
