The bearded man stepped hard on his face, causing his bones to crackle and blood mixed with mud covering half of his face.
He struggled to speak, but nothing came out. His mouth was full of blood and he could only make gurgling sounds.

The woman wanted to go forward to help her husband, but was suddenly grabbed by another bearded man.
