Chapter 113: Not Very Smart

When Jiang Hong heard An Ning's words, her face turned pale for a moment, then flushed red again: "Auntie...that was when we were little. Didn't I understand it then?"

An Ning grinned at her and nodded: "That's it, I didn't recognize the wrong person!"

Then, she said with a smile on her face: "Actually, she's not that young anymore, she's three years old!"

So, she added a particularly mean-spirited sentence: "She didn't look very bright when she was young. I don't know if it will affect her IQ."

The little girl was shy. After hearing what Jiang Hong said, she stomped her feet and ran inside crying.

Sun Miaomiao and Aning stuck out their tongues: "Aunt Anning, she's just a little girl, you made her cry. Grandma Fu will be here soon with a big knife."

An Ning looked disgusted. "Are you asking whether she ate or not? I'm not wronging her. At the age of three, she can't even distinguish between food. How smart can she be? She must have been abroad, so she's a smart kid."

Sun Miaomiao gave An Ning a thumbs-up: "If we're talking about sarcasm, it has to be you!"

Han Xinrui stood aside silently.

An Ning waved to Han Xinrui: "Come on, let's go in together."

If An Ning had to choose, she would rather follow her son's wishes and marry Han Xinrui than this stupid girl found by the old lady.

As expected, as An Ning entered, Mrs. Fu's furious voice rang out: "Achen, look at your mother. Ah Hong is a girl, and she talked about her childhood in front of so many people. She was deliberately embarrassing them. Your father doesn't care about her, and you don't say anything to her. Who has the final say in this family?"

When An Ning took Han Xinrui in, Mrs. Fu was complaining to her grandson.

"Oh, old lady, what are you talking about me? You said I was talking about other people's affairs in front of outsiders, but aren't you also talking about my affairs in front of outsiders? This is a tradition in our family. I learned it from my mother-in-law."

When the old lady heard this, her expression froze: "You..."

Fu Yuchen was just about to look up and ask his mother to stop talking when he saw Han Xinrui.

So, he grinned and said, "Comrade Han Xinrui, you are here too."

An Ning glanced at her son's worthless smile.

She also saw that her son had a physical affection for Han Xinrui. He used to be so reserved with everyone, but when he saw Han Xinrui, he acted like a fool.

Old Mrs. Fu was still angry with An Ning. When she heard what her grandson said, she looked at Han Xinrui. Before she could say anything, she saw her son's worthless smile and was shocked.

She understood again the intimacy of An Ning holding Han Xinrui's arm: Could it be that this girl is a distant relative of An Ning's family, and she wants to introduce her to Yu Chen?

As soon as she thought of An Ning's appearance, she felt a chill on her back.

Her family already has a capitalist daughter, An Ning, and cannot have another one.

Then, she turned around and grabbed Jiang Hong: "Achen, take Jiang Hong upstairs for a walk. I'll call you for dinner."

Fu Yuchen's attention was all on Han Xinrui. Hearing his grandmother's words, he replied coldly: "You ask Aunt Jiang to take her upstairs."

The old lady glanced at her unromantic grandson and snorted, "Go if I tell you to! You're the host, Jiang Hong is the guest. It won't interfere with your business if you're allowed to show her around the house. Your grandfather likes Jiang Hong, and today he said he knew that the girl from the Jiang family had returned home and wanted to chat with her. You two played together when you were little, so you've grown up together."

When Fu Yuchen heard what his grandmother said, he glanced at Jiang Hong and said, "It's not her first time here. Doesn't she know Grandpa's study?"

Mrs. Fu was so angry at her grandson: "You...you..."

An Ning smiled and said, "Mom, stop worrying about my Yu Chen. Growing up together doesn't mean we have to live together forever."

Then, she
