"Not good!" The leading monk's expression changed drastically. He hurriedly activated his Buddhist light to defend himself, but the golden characters seemed to ignore all defenses and instantly pierced through the Buddhist light, landing on them!
"ah--!"
Screams rose and fell as the bodies of the five monks were annihilated inch by inch in the golden light, turning into ashes. Only five dim souls were firmly locked in place by the golden light, unable to move, their faces filled with terror and regret.
The golden light from the Tao Te Ching slowly receded, returning to the book. Su She closed the book, looking at the five suppressed souls, his eyes filled with no pleasure, only deep weariness.
