Chapter 79: Can't Leave Me
Shen Chutang's birthday party and coming-of-age party were scheduled on the same day. During this period, there were many banquets of all sizes, including the class's graduation reunion dinner and classmates' coming-of-age parties.
Shen Chutang picked out a few of her classmates' parties to attend. The procedures were mostly similar, eating and chatting. She did not go to the dance parties or dinners because she could not dance and did not want to dance with others.
But the graduation dinner could not be postponed, and Shen Chutang did not intend to not go. She wanted to experience these things that only happen once in a lifetime.
Xie Tong also came back from abroad, looking a little darker and thinner.
After she came back, she went straight to the Shi family and refused to leave. Shen Chutang had customized a lot of dresses during this period.
Xie Tong didn't have time to prepare, so he simply pestered Shen Chutang to pick one out in her cloakroom.
Shen Chutang picked a green satin fishtail dress for her, which was just right for her because she was a little thinner, and the green color also made her look whiter. Xie Tong had had shoulder-length hair for years, but now it had grown longer and was curled by a stylist.

It was the first time for both of them to try on such clothes. They put on makeup and high heels, supported each other, walked around the living room a few times, and then sat on the sofa and laughed.
Their school had booked the banquet hall on the third floor of the hotel. After Shen Chutang and Xie Tong found the banquet hall where their class was, they walked in together, arm in arm.
After finding a seat and sitting down, Xie Tong started to have snacks. Although he had a lot of fun playing outside, the food was really not that good. It was novel the first time, but it became boring the second time.
The graduation dinner also followed a very normal process. The head teacher gave a blessing speech. After the dinner, Shen Chutang applauded with the crowd. The dishes came one by one, and Xie Tong started to get down to business and concentrate on eating.
She not only ate her own food, but also Shen Chutang's. For some dishes, she even ate two servings by herself, and Shen Chutang was afraid that she would have to eat too much.
Another dish of baked lobster with cheese came up. Xie Tong looked at Shen Chutang with sparkling eyes. She knew that Shen Chutang didn't like to eat these things that were troublesome to prepare.

"Tangtang, you really underestimated me. I don't feel anything at all now. The portions of these dishes are small to begin with." Xie Tong happily took her plate, cut half of it, peeled it and gave it to her.
"Who comes to a banquet just to eat a lot?" Shen Chutang said helplessly.
"But if you're really hungry, go upstairs and eat something after you finish."
Shen Chutang was worried that she was holding back, but at the same time, seeing that she was eating happily, he was afraid that she really was not full.

Shen Chutang pinched her face and said, "Tell the truth. What happened last time?"

Xie Tong whispered in her ear, and then he started to eat heartily again, mumbling while eating, "I have to hurry up, who wants to talk to him? I'll run after I finish eating."

"Let's run first. I haven't made up my mind yet."
As for when she will be able to figure it out, she doesn't know.
Shen Chutang laughed dumbly. Even at this time, he still remembered to share with her, "Okay, then, eat slowly, and let Uncle Shang take you to the airport later."
"Yeah." Xie Tong nodded hurriedly.
A feeling of tension and excitement swept through her mind, even more exciting than running out of the house early that morning.

Xie Tong wanted to say that he was not full and then turn around and go back to the banquet hall to find a way to escape, but he saw that he was holding two bags of packaged food in his hands.
She laughed dryly and said, "I'm full, I'm full."
"Then go home."
"I, I suddenly feel a little thirsty. Go outside and buy me a cup of milk tea. I'll be downstairs in a minute."
Xie Yi looked at her intently and hesitated for a moment, "Together."
