Chapter 14 Red Brick Factory (13) - Eye-Catching Macho Man
Cheng Chuan realized that his current position was disadvantageous in the battle, because when he turned into sand to deal with the first wave of zombie dogs that rushed up, the zombie dogs behind him knew to bypass his small sandstorm and attack Ning Shu instead.
His range of movement is quite large; if he moves too far, he might not be able to come back in time to rescue Ning Shu, who is being besieged.
"Ning Shu, go to the corner." Cheng Chuan's voice came from the small sandstorm.
"Okay." Ning Shu also noticed the problem.
Every time Cheng Chuan moved far away, she had to follow behind the sandstorm, otherwise those zombie dogs that squeezed through the gaps would tear her apart.
As she moved to the corner, Cheng Chuan moved back and stood in front of her.
The corner position can reduce their attack range by three-quarters.
Cheng Chuan cleared away the zombie dogs in front of him like a lawnmower, but monsters continued to attack them from behind.
The small sandstorm that Cheng Chuan had transformed into moved slower, and he was feeling somewhat exhausted, and his mind was starting to become unclear.
Unbeknownst to him, a zombie dog cleverly circled around from a distance and pounced on Ning Shu.
"ah!"
Ning Shu was so frightened that she quickly dodged away, but she was now in a corner.
Although she managed to dodge the dog's gaping maw, she crashed into a wall.
She thought she was going to crash into the wall and get hurt, but suddenly she felt a sense of weightlessness and actually "passed" right through it!
She made intimate contact with the ground, falling face-first into the mud, and was completely dazed.
She thought she just saw the wall become 60% transparent, and then she fell out.
She quickly got up to see what was going on. First, she turned her head to look at the wall behind her, but there was only a wall and no door.
She reached out and touched it to see if there was a hidden door, just like the one she had seen when she fell.
But no, the wall felt solid to the touch, she tapped on it with her hand.
To prevent her from going to the wrong place, she knocked on the wall several meters wide behind her, but there was no door. It was as if everything she had just experienced was an illusion.
Has she completely separated from Cheng Chuan and the others? That's it, the survival rate is 0%.
Ning Shu turned around and looked around. She was in a small recessed corner with three walls and an exit on one side. She swallowed hard and forced herself to move forward.
She is currently in an L-shaped walkway, the end of which is the other side of the L.
The color of the wall over there was different from this one; it was all white. There seemed to be writing on the wall, less than a person's height, but it was too far away for her to see clearly.
Ning Shu felt that there was no immediate danger in this place, and she could try to survive as long as possible, she comforted herself.
She tiptoed to the railing, curious about what lay beneath it, given the vast space.
The space on the other side of the railing occupied 95% of the area. This space had no windows but was very bright. She first looked up at the ceiling, which was a large glass roof.
Sunlight streamed in from outside; oh, no wonder it's so bright!
Wait a minute, it's already dawn?!
Wasn't it dark inside just now? Has a whole night already passed?
Ning Shu was shocked. She looked up again and checked twice before she realized she wasn't seeing things.
Well, it doesn't seem like a big deal. After all, not only does the floor eat people here, but there are also zombie dogs. What's a little thing when it gets light? It's nothing.
She then looked down and saw two large pools below, the water of which was a murky yellow, and she couldn't see what was inside.
She felt there couldn't be anything good in that pool.
Below, there was nothing but the pool; this familiar emptiness only made her uneasy.
The space below the railing is about two stories high, while the space above her is about one story high.
Huh, what's that?
Ning Shu noticed that there were two rows of protruding "grids" on the red brick wall opposite, near the ceiling.
The length spans the entire wall, with two levels, and thin walls separating the spaces in between.
Each "grid" wasn't very wide, and it was filled with things, though she couldn't see what they were.
After all, the glass roof doesn't cover the entire ceiling; it only occupies a small part of it. The areas where sunlight doesn't reach are all dark.
She looked around and realized that there were no stairs leading down the corridor.
Normally, there should be a door somewhere in this corridor, and then there should be stairs leading down from that door; otherwise, what would be the point of designing this corridor?
Ning Shu decided to look for the door, so she walked along the corridor towards the pure white wall.
She felt that the wall should hold clues about the factory. First, the wall's color was different from the others, and second, there were words on the wall.
She needs to see this clearly.
When she finally got close to the wall, she was completely dumbfounded.
Holy crap! This place is awful! Ning Shu almost cursed.
It turned out that dozens of tall, pale-skinned men stood close to the white wall in front of it, their skin so white it looked as if it had been coated with putty.
The color blends perfectly with the white wall, and it's virtually invisible from a distance.
What she thought were words on the wall were actually patterns on their chests, whether pasted on or tattooed, they were all blue.
The pattern consists of a hexagon missing one side and a triangle inside the hexagon, with its base coinciding with one of the sides of the opening in the hexagon.
The vertex is on the side of the hexagon opposite the base, forming an isosceles triangle. The pattern can be drawn in one stroke, making it easy to remember.
The key point is that they were all naked, and their private parts weren't even censored!
"Cough" means there is no cover or obstruction.
What a tragedy! She was forced to "enjoy" a free show of numerous naked little brothers.
This scene is absolutely...eye-watering!
In this godforsaken place, if those men with their eyes closed were to suddenly open them, this scene would be her lifelong nightmare.
Stop thinking about these random things; the more you think about them, the more likely they are to become reality.
Ning Shu forced herself not to think too much, and then shifted her gaze to where it should be, but she couldn't completely detach herself from these strange "things," worried that they might suddenly "come alive."
Quick, find the door and get out of here!
Ning Shu felt the danger was imminent, just like when playing a battle royale game and the system notification says "The enemy will arrive on the battlefield in ten seconds."
She quickly backed away, thinking that there was probably no way out from the wall where the "strange man" was standing.
Of course, this was just her imagination. After all, it looked dangerous over there. If they "survived," her only way out would be to jump off the building. It was two stories high; she would be crippled if she didn't die.
