Chapter 308 Magic Academy (11) - Asking for One More Spot

Chapter 308 Magic Academy (11) - Asking for One More Spot

Principal Robert was in a dilemma: "Young student, it's not that I'm heartless, it's just that you've only been enrolled for a short time and haven't even mastered magic yet. If you take the exam, you might not be able to come back alive."

Many students fail this assessment every year; even students who have studied for three years struggle with it. You, a freshman, are practically doomed.

God knows how troublesome it is for him to deal with the disputes of the parents of the students who died every year, but these are all tasks given to him by the royal family, and he has no choice but to comply.

Now a student is going to his death, and he can't bear to do it.

Ning Shu didn't care about that and had a sudden idea: "If the principal can't bear it, he can just give me a graduation certificate."

She didn't know what the standard for "successful graduation" was, but if she received a graduation certificate, it should count as graduation, right?

According to what she had heard, the standard for graduating from the magic academy was that after passing the graduation exam, the academy would issue students a graduation certificate and a special item.

She had heard that the props were all sorts of things, and seemed to be related to the students' own magic.

That's not the point, but the point is definitely the graduation certificate.

Unexpectedly, she also had to struggle for a graduation certificate in the game.

Principal Robert hadn't expected Ning Shu's demands to become increasingly outrageous. The graduation certificate wasn't actually determined by him; that was the prerogative of the royal family.

He simply submitted the list of those who had completed the task, and the royal family decided whether or not to grant them graduation.

He quickly replied, "I can't make that decision directly, but I can arrange for you to participate in this graduation assessment."

When faced with two evils, choose the lesser; Robert understood the importance of making the right choice.

Ning Shu achieved her goal, but she was still a little worried:

"Thank you, Principal. However, to ensure you keep your word, I'll give you the Anjia Grass after the list of those who will participate in the graduation assessment is released. Is that alright?"

Robert hadn't expected the girl to be so clever and to have a secret weapon up her sleeve. But since he still had something to ask her, he agreed.

“That’s no problem, but I still want to ask where you found this herb, since Anga grass is hard to find.”

Ning Shu thought to herself, "If I hadn't read the potion book, I would have believed your nonsense. You just want to pick a few more plants, don't you?"

But is this grass really that precious? There's plenty of it on those cliffs.

Ning Shu smiled and said, "Principal, it's not that I didn't want to tell you, I just forgot where it was. After all, I just happened to be passing by and bumped into it."

There was also a ferocious monster nearby that chased me around, and I barely escaped with my life.

I'm still shaken; maybe I need to take some time to think it through.

Principal Robert smiled and said it was alright, whether he believed it or not was unknown.

Suddenly, Ning Shu thought of something and said to the principal:

“Principal, how about this, if I have some free time, I’ll go look for that place again.”

If you find one, please add another spot for me; I'll bring someone along.

That's right, Ning Shu thought of Si Zhong.

If he has no other options, she can offer one: make him kneel down and sing "I am the clown" to her.

Ning Shu, lost in his own thoughts, didn't notice that Robert looked terrible, but there was nothing he could do about it, so he calmed himself down.

"Young man, there are only 4 days left before the list is announced. You need to hurry so I can give you an extra spot, otherwise there's nothing I can do."

Ning Shu pretended to be very nervous: "Of course, thank you in advance, Principal."

Finally, he added, "Principal, wait for my good news!" and then drifted away.

After Robert and Ning Shu left, his face was so gloomy it could drip ink.

Ning Shu couldn't get in touch with Si Zhong these past two days, and she just hoped he would show up soon so she could show off her heroism and humiliate him!

She had never been so eager to see Si Zhong, to see him humiliated.

Ning Shu, who was feeling smug, hadn't gone far from the principal's office when she saw Sister Li and her group of people, who seemed to be waiting for her.

Has the sun risen in the west? She never received this kind of treatment before.

Ning Shu pretended not to see them and walked past them as if nothing had happened.

Sister Li could remain calm, but the boy next to her couldn't sit still.

"Hey, you didn't even say hello, how rude of you."

Ning Shu retorted angrily, "Who are you feeding? Don't you have a name to call? And who are you?!"

Come to think of it, none of them had introduced themselves. They had introduced themselves in the Desert Trail dungeon, but she had forgotten.

The boy choked for a moment, then mumbled, "I, my name is Milk Dragon."

Milk Dragon? Is it that yellow cartoon dragon?

Ning Shu couldn't help but take a closer look at the boy; he didn't look like someone who liked cartoons.

Coupled with his nasty personality, he doesn't seem like someone who would have a childlike sense of humor.

The boy knew Ning Shu would act this way, and snorted.

"Hmph, what are you humming about? Didn't you come up with this name yourself? And you're already complaining about it?" Ning Shu thought to herself.

Sister Li quickly stepped in to steer the conversation back to the main topic: "Miss Ning, we have something we'd like to ask you."

Upon hearing the word "ask for advice," Ning Shu asked in confusion, "You guys aren't trying to get something for free, are you?"

Milk Dragon quickly explained, "Of course not, we can exchange messages."

Ning Shu glanced at him: "Your information is useless to me, not as useful as what I found."

Milk Dragon was speechless at her words. Indeed... that was true, and he couldn't refute it.

Sister Li: "So what do you want? Name your terms."

Ning Shu, who was wearing glasses, glanced at the points above their heads and pondered how many points he should charge them.

Ning Shu: "Give me points. Ask your question first, and I'll collect points based on your question. That's fair, isn't it?"

Fairness my ass! Milk Dragon rolls his eyes.

Ning Shu glanced at him: I'll charge you a little more later.

Sister Li: "We've thought about what you said that day for a long time."

Although we can jump to 3 years in the future, according to your logic, we might not be able to graduate together.

I wonder if Miss Ning has any way to guarantee that we can clear the game together.

Ning Shu looked at them. Indeed, they belonged to different colleges, and they might not even be able to take the graduation exam together, let alone pass it together.

What puzzled her even more was why they thought they knew the solution: "Why did you come to me?"

Sister Li couldn't really explain it either. She just felt that Ning Shu was trustworthy, and for some inexplicable reason, she felt that Ning Shu was very similar to someone she knew.

She knew this was the first time she had met Ning Shu, and they had no other choice but to come here.

Sister Li gave a different explanation: "We've dealt with each other before, so it's better to stick with what you know."

Ning Shu thought it made sense. She did have a solution. She looked at their points and offered, "200 points."

It's just a message; she'll just earn a little bit.

The people on Sister Li's side looked at each other in bewilderment. They had a lot of points, and they were... short of money.

Nailong remained silent this time, but Sister Li spoke up: "Miss Ning, some of us don't even have 200 points. Could you reduce the number?"
