Chapter 341 Absolute Imprisonment (5) - Brainwashing Failure
"Yes, I understand." Si Zhong offered a way out.
Ning Shu blushed and quietly prepared to leave, but Si Zhong grabbed her arm.
She turned to look at the other person, her face asking, "What are you going to do?"
Si Zhongtian shamelessly said, "You didn't teach me properly, and you even distracted me. Aren't you going to make it up to me?"
Ning Shu knew perfectly well what he was thinking, and silently scorned him in her heart: "Focus on your studies, or watch out for your brother..."
She suddenly stopped. She had never met his brother before, and he had never mentioned him. Either his brother wasn't in the game, or his brother was gone.
The one that can make Si Zhong so obedient even in the game is most likely the latter.
The other person was still waiting for her to continue, but after pausing and remaining quiet for a while, she actually took the initiative to give him a kiss on the cheek.
"Consider this compensation." Ning Shu said, then quickly broke free from him and disappeared.
Si Zhong was stunned for a moment, then suddenly the corners of his mouth curled up slightly. Although this sweetness was not what he wanted, it was better than nothing. The main thing was that he couldn't continue like this.
I've been too engrossed in women lately, neglecting many important matters.
He continued reading.
Ning Shu was fiddling with his laptop at this time. He deleted the dozen or so terabytes of "study materials" he had previously stored, arguing that they were not good for his physical and mental health.
When Si Zhong heard this reason, he just smiled at her and said nothing.
What a joke! Ning Shu suffered terribly the night she was caught. This kind of thing absolutely cannot be allowed to live.
Watching movies, a time-consuming method, isn't entirely a failure, but the genre of the movies needs to be carefully selected.
Ning Shu chose some action blockbusters, the kind with fighting scenes, and some emotional dramas.
The former refers to the type that boys would like and be interested in; otherwise, what would happen if Si Zhong couldn't get into it?
The latter refers to some of her ulterior motives; she wanted to instill in Si Zhong the ideas that "if you love her, you should fulfill her wishes" and "there is a kind of love called letting go."
She wasn't sure if she could keep her real secret forever, so she needed to make some preparations in advance.
In case something happens, at least you have to save your life, right?
These kinds of films must be carefully selected to resonate deeply with audiences and strike a chord instantly!
When Si Zhong wasn't reading, he wanted to do something to pass the time with Ning Shu, but before he could, Ning Shu dragged him to watch a movie together.
He thought the first movie was alright, and the fight scenes were quite exciting, but the second one was a bit boring.
After watching two movies in a row, Si Zhong was getting restless, but seeing Ning Shu's enthusiasm, he reluctantly joined in.
As he watched, he seemed to understand something and looked at Ning Shu beside him with great interest: "I didn't realize you actually liked watching this kind of movie."
Ning Shu didn't like it either, finding it too literary, but the results she found perfectly matched her requirements.
"Of course, I heard this movie has a very high rating."
Si Zhong leaned closer and asked in a low voice, "Are your films rated as high as mine?"
Ning Shuqiao blushed and glared at him fiercely: "Your films are so low-quality, where did you get the ratings?"
Si Zhong didn't deny it: "If they can't give an official evaluation, there must be a lot of behind-the-scenes evaluations, don't you think?"
Si Zhong held his last words between his lips, like a lover's whisper.
Ning Shu was initially curious about where the behind-the-scenes rating came from, but after figuring it out, she felt he was truly shameless and pushed him away, not letting him get close to her.
"If you don't like watching, then leave and don't keep me from watching."
She couldn't be bothered to keep bothering him anymore. Anyway, she was watching a movie, so what could he do to her? He had no choice but to wait obediently, humph.
Ning Shu underestimated Si Zhong's shamelessness; after being pushed away, he pressed himself against her again.
"There's a perfect solution. You decide, I'll do as I please." With that, his hands started to wander.
Ning Shu was so disturbed that she couldn't watch the movie. She snapped, "What are you doing? If you're not going to watch, then get out of here, or I'll get angry!"
Si Zhong ignored her, his hands still moving, and leaned close to her ear: "When you're angry, you're especially... nice."
Is Si Zhong a masochist? Does he enjoy being scolded by her?
Ning Shu had been holding back her anger for a long time and was ready to unleash her fury and vent her frustrations.
Before she could even speak, the other person's hand reached out and touched a place they shouldn't have.
She was speechless. She reached out to block the other party's restless claws, but in terms of agility, Ning Shu was no match for Si Zhong.
After several rounds of competition, she lost completely and was eventually pinned down on the sofa by him.
As Si Zhong pressed her down, he glanced at the movie still playing on his laptop out of the corner of his eye and suddenly spoke:
"Is Ah Ning trying to smuggle in her own agenda by choosing this film?"
Ning Shu was caught off guard by his sudden mention of this and felt a surge of tension. Si Zhong grunted and continued, "Did I guess right?"
Ning Shu retorted stubbornly, "What personal bias? I just saw that it had a high rating and wanted to check it out."
Si Zhong sneered: "Are you trying to do some ideological work on me so I'll let you go? I knew you wouldn't be that obedient."
After saying that, he increased the pressure, and Ning Shu whimpered, "No, be gentle."
Si Zhong smiled and softened his movements, but still wouldn't let go of the question from before: "Come on, answer me."
Ning Shu was still clear-headed at this moment. She knew she couldn't admit it, so she stubbornly said, "No, I just like it."
Si Zhong still wouldn't give up and continued to press for answers...
After an unknown amount of time, Ning Shu felt as if she was about to be drowned by the waves.
Si Zhong then asked, "What did you say you liked?"
Ning Shu answered, her voice choked with emotion, "...I like you."
Si Zhong was satisfied: "I like you too."
Afterwards, Si Zhong carried Ning Shu to take a bath. Ning Shu was too weak to do anything, and fell asleep as soon as her body touched the blankets.
Si Zhong brushed a strand of hair from Ning Shu's face and lowered his head to kiss her forehead: "Goodnight."
The next day, after Ning Shu woke up, she began to reflect on herself. She thought she was the one who was superior to the righteous, but she found that the devil was the one who was superior to the demon.
Si Zhong is quite perceptive and insightful; she's far more capable than him.
But so what? As the saying goes, even a mayfly can shake a tree.
She doesn't need to win against Si Zhong in everything, just at the crucial moments.
That's right, that's it! All she needs to do now is wait.
But when she came out and saw Si Zhong preparing breakfast for her in the kitchen, her legs went weak.
When Si Zhong saw her, he smiled brightly and beckoned her over: "Come and have breakfast, it's your favorite chicken porridge."
Ning Shu glanced out the window. The sun was already high in the sky. Breakfast? Lunch was more like it.
Si Zhong seemed to know what she was thinking and explained, "The first meal of the day is breakfast, no matter how late you sleep, come on."
Ning Shu sat down and began to eat the porridge he had made.
