Chapter 5 Red Brick Factory (4) - Teammate's Death
Ning Shu used to think that the way female leads in idol dramas stared at male leads with wide eyes and thought they were glowing was too exaggerated.
Now that she's the "leading lady," it doesn't seem like an exaggeration at all.

Ning Shu and Cheng Chuan didn't have time to think about what was going on when they heard a scream.
The two looked toward the source of the sound at the same time, only to see that where Guo Bing was standing, there was only a hand outstretched upwards.
And the hand gradually disappeared underground... until it was no longer visible.
A stream of blood suddenly gushed out from where he disappeared, as if someone had been squeezed out of the body by something, and the strong smell of blood filled the room.

An Ning, who was in a state of extreme shock, screamed the most piercingly. She was closer to Guo Bing, and the gushing blood sprayed onto her face.

Ning Shu was startled by the scene and instinctively grabbed Cheng Chuan's arm for a sense of security.
The three of them are currently the safest, An Ning is the most dangerous, and Li Lin is the next most dangerous, as her calves have sunk into the ground.
As the floor began to wriggle, Wu Yi and Zhu Peng jumped to the corners of the walls on either side, each occupying one side.

Cheng Chuan frowned, probably hesitant because the distance was neither too far nor too close.
"The belt isn't long enough; it would be better if there were a rope," Cheng Chuan replied.
"Would it be okay to tie it together with clothes?"
Ning Shu felt that although they didn't have ropes, they did have clothes.
Summer clothes are thinner and lighter, so if you take them off you'll be naked, but you can't just stand by and watch someone die because you're wearing clothes.
"You can give it a try."
Cheng Chuan and his companion were relatively close to An Ning, so they decided to take off their shirts and tie them to their belts to rescue An Ning.
Ning Shu didn't mince words and took off her top, leaving her only in her underwear. Luckily, she was wearing a strapless bra underneath, so she didn't feel embarrassed wearing it on the outside.
Cheng Chuan went shirtless, tied his shirt and her clothes together tightly, and then tied them together with a belt to make them long enough.
They were busy working on this side, while the handsome guy with heterochromia just watched from the side, showing no intention of helping at all.
Ning Shu didn't even bother to roll his eyes at him, treating him like he was invisible, but he was still wary that he might suddenly go crazy.
Cheng Chuan threw the clothes "rope" directly to An Ning. An Ning, who had been shouting, shut up when she saw that they were coming to rescue her. She wiped away the blood and tears smeared on her face and grabbed the "rope" that was thrown to her.

The idea was wonderful, but reality was a slap in the face. The clothes connected like this had no grip, and under such force, the knot broke open.
Ning Shu and Cheng Chuan fell backward, and An Ning, who had been pulled out a little, sank back in, and the speed at which she sank in increased.
"Ahhh, help me, help me!" An Ning screamed in terror.
After Ning Shu and Cheng Chuan got up, they found that they were only holding the belt and shirt in their hands, and An Ning was holding Ning Shu's shirt.
If we still want to save her, then we'll have to take off our pants.
Ning Shu was wearing shorts, so whether she took them off or not didn't really matter. Cheng Chuan was wearing dress pants, and the pant legs of those dress pants were quite long, so...

"Is everything alright?" Zhu Peng asked tremblingly, still shaken.
"I'll go down and take a look first."
Wu Yi relaxed his grip and slowly slid down until he could touch the ground. He stomped the floor a few times with one foot and, after confirming that the floor was indeed fine, he rushed over to Li Lin.
They reached behind her, grabbed her arms, and pulled her out of the ground like pulling up a radish.
After rescuing the person, they rushed to the stairs, which was the safest place, without delay.
Seeing this, Zhu Peng quickly came down and returned to the stairs.
Only then did everyone breathe a sigh of relief. Looking at the two pools of blood on the ground, they felt both relieved to have survived and filled with a profound question.
"Is this real? This isn't a normal kidnapping, is it? Where exactly is this place?"
After a moment of silence, Cheng Chuan spoke up: "No matter what the situation is, everyone needs to be careful from now on. Let's leave here; it would be troublesome if it happened again."
Ning Shu agreed. Her clothes had disappeared along with An Ning, so now she could only wear a strapless bra.
Wu Yi is a fairly gentlemanly guy. He's a parkour enthusiast and dresses in a flamboyant way.
He wore a black vest over his T-shirt. He took off the T-shirt and gave it to Ning Shu to wear, while he wore the vest himself.
Ning Shu thanked him gratefully, but felt even more annoyed by the silent, heterochromatic-eyed madman behind her.
