Oh my!
Jin He held up his rice bowl with a bitter face, fiddling with the porridge inside, but couldn't get it into his mouth.
The reason is simpleāhe recently went abroad to meet his lover. Before leaving, he was worried that Jin He wouldn't eat well, so he specially compiled a recipe of the dishes that Jin He usually eats and gave it to Aunt Shu to cook.
As a result, they couldn't recreate the taste of the weekend at all. So, eating became a problem again, and An Yi was already going crazy.
"Look! This tastes exactly the same!!" An Yi, with his hair a mess, stood in the kitchen, bewildered by the pot of porridge. "Why can't I get it right? Why does it just not taste right?"
It's no wonder An Yi was furious. He went out to work last night and came back a little late. He thought he could sleep in this morning, but Aunt Shu woke him up and told him that Jin He had vomited up his porridge again.
An Yi downed more than half a bowl in one gulp: "Isn't this all the same? I always thought millet and sea cucumber porridge all tasted the same."
Jin He was eating fruit in the living room, while An Yi was just yelling at Aunt Shu. He didn't seem to be complaining about her, but... why?! He threw up again!
Why are they so hard to raise?!
ah! ! !
"Did you not have a good appetite this morning? Why don't you eat a little more?" Aunt Shu also tasted a mouthful of porridge. Strange, she clearly followed the recipe.
"Let's cook another pot." An Yi gulped down the bowl of porridge, wiped his mouth, and said, "If we don't eat breakfast now, it'll be too late."
So, half an hour later, Jin He got another bowl of porridge. He reached out like an ancestor, took a spoon, stirred it, and took a small sip, probably just touching it with his lips.
"I don't want to eat," Jin He said, clutching her stomach.
"Why? Is it because it doesn't taste right?" An Yi asked. "If you don't want to eat sea cucumber, I'll take it out."
Jin He pursed her lips and shook her head, as if she was enduring something. Then she bent down, picked up the trash can, and spat into it. After that, she couldn't stop spitting.
"Hey!" An Yi quickly hugged him, took the trash can from him, and patted Jin He's back. "Are you feeling unwell in your stomach?"
He vomited up the fruit he had just eaten, and then there was nothing left to vomit, only some liquid. An Yi felt something was wrong and reached out to rub his stomach: "Are you having some spasms? Is your stomach acting up again?"
"Cough cough... um." Jin He nodded, "My stomach hurts."
"When did this happen? Why didn't you tell me?" An Yi picked up Jin He and asked Aunt Shu to fill a hot water bottle for her. "No wonder you couldn't eat anything. How are you? Should we go to the hospital?"
"It's been quite a hassle, take a break." Jin He took the hot water bottle, said thank you, and continued, "My stomach was hurting this morning, but it stopped hurting later. I just felt a little nauseous, so I didn't think anything was wrong."
Why did my stomach suddenly hurt? Did I eat something wrong?
As soon as An Yi finished speaking, he felt the person in his arms stiffen.
An Yi raised an eyebrow: "Hmm?"
"I...didn't eat much?" Jin He felt wronged. "I didn't secretly order takeout or drink milk tea while you were away, nor did I steal ice cream from the refrigerator, nor did I eat anything spicy or stimulating. I ate all the food that Aunt Shu cooked."
"Oh, Xiaohe ate half a box of blueberries from the fridge yesterday. She didn't even have time to rest before eating them, she ate them right after taking them out of the fridge." Aunt Shu slapped her thigh. "Oh dear, I knew they were too cold for her!"
An Yi: "..."
Jin He: "...Ouch, my stomach hurts..."
"You know you're crispy, yet you still dare to eat it cold!"
"I didn't mean to. I thought it was just half a box of blueberries, nothing serious."
"It's nothing, what's wrong with you now?" An Yi looked troubled. "Get up, I'll change your clothes, and we'll go to the hospital."
"So it's just cold?"
"Did you catch a cold? Even if you do, you can't just throw up everything you eat. Go to the hospital to get it checked out so you won't feel bad." An Yi put Jin He on the sofa and bent down to put socks on him. "The doctor just said you should have another gastroscopy to check the ulcers in your stomach. We can go get the gastroscopy done today."
Upon hearing that she was going to have a gastroscopy, Jin He completely wilted.
"I shouldn't have eaten those two blueberries because they were cold."
An Yi knew that people with anemia often crave ice cream, so he pulled the person up and asked, "Does your stomach still hurt?"
"A little bit."
That means it hurts quite a bit.
An Yi tore off a piece of heat pack and stuck it on Jin He's clothes to warm his stomach. "Okay, it won't hurt anymore if you go to the hospital to see a doctor. Get up, I'll carry you there."
