Chapter 66 Corpse Village, Glass Flower House (Part 1) We share life and death...

Chapter 66 Corpse Village, Glass Flower House (Part 1) We share life and death...

Shi Xianxue felt as if a wound had been torn open, and a bitter, painful emotion seeped into the depths of her heart through the opening. It felt as if something was blocking her throat. She wanted to explain, but she didn't know how to begin.

What she just said was a mixture of truth and falsehood; how could she possibly distinguish between them?

The barrier was blasted open, and the ghostly wails and black mist from the Misty Forest rushed in. The boy was hit by something, and his body swayed precariously. He was in extremely poor condition, as if he had exhausted all his strength. Golden lines slowly burst from his pale skin like blood vessels, as if a gust of wind could shatter his shattered body.

Shi Xianxue was gripped by immense panic: "Wu Xiutang, let me save you first, please let me save you first."

The boy's expression was blank, as if he couldn't perceive anything around him. His lifeless pupils turned gray, and his body began to lose temperature.

The crane caught his falling body.

Wu Ying threw the flamingo with its broken neck onto the crane and, dragging its broken leg, blocked Shi Xianxue's path.

"Stop pretending! Shouldn't you be happier that your master is dead?" Wu Ying heard everything and now she was even more furious with her. "Didn't you say you were troubled and annoyed by your master's affection? Don't worry, your master won't bother you anymore!"

The master has lost his spirit; he is about to die.

It couldn't bring itself to say those words; it only felt sorry for its master.

The master fell in love for the first time, only to lose everything and end up in such a tragic state.

"No, Wu Ying, I'm doing this to save him. Please step aside, I can save him." Tears welled up in Shi Xianxue's eyes.

"It's no use!" Wu Ying suddenly shouted hoarsely, wishing he could tear the woman in front of him to pieces. "Can't you see? The premise for your repair power to be used is that something still exists in this world."

Shi Xianxue felt her heart stop for a moment, and she heard herself ask.

"What's the meaning?"

"What do you mean? Didn't you already see that the master no longer had any spiritual essence? He gave most of his spiritual essence to you! And then used his last spiritual essence to kill that man."

"This body is just an empty shell now!"

--

When Li Fuchao and the others found Shi Xianxue, Zhou Xianghan was gnawing on her left arm, seemingly wanting to devour her.

The surrounding area bore the marks of a fight that was about to be wiped out. Shi Xianxue seemed to have suffered a huge blow, and she knelt down under the snake-shaped tree with her head down, completely disoriented, and did not react to Zhou Xianghan's bites.

Zhou Xianghan let out a painful scream as her left arm bled from the bite, then released Shi Xianxue's arm. Shi Xianxue finally reacted, looking in the direction of the sound, and noticed that Zhou Xianghan's mouth seemed to have been corroded by some highly poisonous liquid, with the corners of her mouth beginning to turn black and ulcerate.

Shi Xianxue stiffly turned her eyes, lowered her eyelashes to look at her bleeding arm, and her expression fell into a brief confusion. Soon, the memories in the lantern tree of Jiuyi City overlapped with it.

The Golden-Spitting Boy didn't leave. Simple-minded, it only received its master's initial order to follow Shi Xianxue, not the instruction to leave. The main reason, however, was that Wu Ying never kept useless information in her mind.

I forgot about it.

"Quack quack quack." It was your master who gave it to you. At that time, you were suffering from cold poison, and your master gave you his own blood.

The idea was validated.

She trembled all over, and could no longer hold back, burying her face in her knees and whimpering in despair.

Li Fuchao and the others had no idea what had happened. Young Master Wu was gone, the Demon-Subduing Sword lay quietly not far away, and Zhou Xianghan was jumping around wildly, her mouth swollen and bluish-purple.

Song Qingshu looked around with a mixture of surprise and uncertainty.

Did she really kill Wu Xiutang?

Li Fuchao stepped forward as if to help her up, but upon hearing her desperate cries, he froze, momentarily at a loss for what to do.

He gave Song Qingshu a meaningful look, but ultimately swallowed the words that were on the tip of his tongue.

Fu Zhen was only concerned about the whereabouts of the goddess and the divine artifact. Now that he saw her, he finally breathed a sigh of relief: "It's best that the goddess and the divine artifact are safe and sound. Let's hurry to Mount No Return."

To protect the goddess's safety, Shi Xianxue was surrounded by the crowd in the middle. Without the miasma demon guarding her, countless demons roared and surged in from all directions.

They can't be killed off, they can't be burned out.

The people became irritable as they inhaled the miasma, and began to mutter curses and swears. It was not a clean environment.

Only Shi Xianxue remained quiet throughout, keeping her head down and walking slowly.

Suddenly, she stopped and looked up.

The person behind her nearly bumped into her, and seeing her motionless and blank-minded, exclaimed, "A goddess?"

Without warning, Shi Xianxue turned around and strode up to Song Qingshu and the other woman. With tears in her eyes and a stubborn expression, she said, "I'm not going with you. I'm going to find Wu Xiutang."

Song Qingshu looked at her, puzzled.

Before Li Fuchao could say anything, Fu Zhen objected first: "Goddess, now that your identity has been exposed, you are surrounded by demons that want to devour you. Staying by our side is the safest thing to do. The seal is unstable, and if anything goes wrong, you will be able to lend us a helping hand if you are with us."

His attitude was respectful, but his words left no room for refusal: "Goddess, I hope you will not act rashly. The well-being of all people is the most important thing."

Shi Xianxue pursed her lips, about to speak, when a tall figure completely blocked her way.

He was broad and sturdy, and when he stood in front of her, it gave me a sense of security, like tucking my long underwear into my socks.

Li Fuchao said righteously, "With the divine artifact in hand, there will be no mistakes. She has not yet fully awakened her abilities and has just exhausted a lot of her spiritual energy. She shouldn't be traveling with us in the first place. Even if the seal goes wrong, saving the world is the responsibility of all sects in the world. We can't rely on Shishi alone."

Song Qingshu stood silently beside the two of them, watching everything unfold.

Shi Xianxue's eyes were red-rimmed, her hair was disheveled, and she was on the verge of collapse. Her state and expression did not seem fake.

Song Qingshu suddenly realized that she couldn't understand Shi Xianxue anymore.

She's the one who wanted to kill Wu Xiutang, and she's also the one who wanted to bring him back. What exactly does she want? If it's all an act, then what is her purpose?

The people of the Nine Heavens Immortal Palace cannot agree with this.

"Even if we want to find Young Master Wu, can't we wait until we've repaired the seal? Many hands make light work, and we can do our part. Goddess, you must not only consider your own safety but also the well-being of your country. Don't act impulsively."

Fu Zhen was about to say something when Qi Yun Chu rushed up and shoved the life sword into her hands, not afraid of offending anyone: "This is the Chu Yun Sword. It can protect you. Although I don't know exactly what happened, Wu Xiu Tang saved us before and helped us many times on the way to obtaining the divine artifact. Let's consider this as repaying his kindness."

"Fellow Daoist Qi!" People from the Nine Heavens Immortal Mansion surrounded them, led by Fu Zhen. "You are young and do not understand the importance of this matter, but I cannot stand by and watch you make mistakes. As long as I am here today, the Goddess will not leave."

Qi Yun Chu felt that Fu Zhen and even the people in the Nine Heavens Immortal Mansion were all stubborn old men. With the divine artifact in hand, sealing would not be a problem. Shi Xian Xue was indeed a goddess, but she was the one who started it all. She was not doing anything bad to harm the world. She just wanted to find Wu Xiu Tang. Why make things so difficult for her?

So when he saw his senior brothers and sisters raise their swords, Qi Yun Chu rushed forward carrying a bag of half-finished talismans.

The two major sects were openly fighting right under the noses of the demons. If word got out, they would lose all face.

In the past, Shi Xianxue would have been busy trying to mediate, but now she couldn't care less about that; her mind was filled with Wu Xiutang.

She had only one thought in her mind: she had to be by his side and couldn't let him die.

There must be a way to save him!

But how could she outrun cultivators whose cultivation levels were all above the Golden Core stage? Just as she was about to be caught, a snow-white sword light broke through the entanglement of the people from the Nine Heavens Immortal Mansion.

Song Qingshu looked at her, sword in hand, and said, "Let's go."

Shi Xianxue nodded gratefully, then remembered what Shi Huaiyu had said to her. Just as Song Qingshu turned around, she quickly ran back and hugged her tightly: "Sister Qingshu, thank you. Please don't doubt yourself. Stay true to yourself. When I find Wu Xiutang and bring him back, I will give you an explanation."

Song Qingshu was slightly distracted. The thick fog quickly swallowed Shi Xianxue's back. She withdrew her gaze, raised her sword, and unleashed a flurry of sword moves. The surging sword energy, like a thousand peaks falling, lay across Fu Zhen's neck.

The sword's aura was imposing and unstoppable.

"Tell your people to stop, otherwise we'll just throw the seal aside and end up killing each other, becoming a laughingstock among all the sects in the world."

--

Shi Xianxue's sword control technique was only at the beginner level. She used to have a small peach wood sword, but it was broken in Mount Bugui. The Chuyun Sword recognized her as its master, and Shi Xianxue was afraid that she would not be able to control the Chuyun Sword and would fall and become mincemeat. Fortunately, the Chuyun Sword was not as easily angered and agitated as its master. Instead, it was very intelligent. She only gave a location and sat on the sword without having to worry about anything. It flew fast and steadily all the way.

She couldn't find any trace of Wu Xiutang, not even the slightest hint. She stopped Chu Yunjian and began to ponder a plan. Where could Wu Xiutang have gone?

He has no relatives or friends in this world, no home or place to stay. Now that he has avenged his great enemy and is on the verge of death, where can he go?

Chu Yunjian led her around in circles.

Now that all the map sections of the mainland have entered winter, amidst the white snow, a bright red suddenly squeezed into Shi Xianxue's field of vision. Chu Yunjian lowered its flight altitude, and the sound of gongs and drums entered Shi Xianxue's ears.

There was a family getting married.

The neighbors all came out to join in the fun, and she saw a man with a beaming smile bowing to her on horseback.

marriage?

Shi Xianxue was stunned, then as if she remembered something, she pulled the Golden Boy out of her sleeve.

She grabbed the mouth of the Golden Boy, demanding, "Where is Corpse Village?"

The Golden-Spitting Boy: "Quack quack quack." On the mountain.

Which mountain?

The boy: "Quack quack quack." (The mountain in the mountains.)

"I'm asking you, what's the name of that mountain, and where is it located?"

The Golden Boy realized what was happening and cried out, "Quack quack quack quack!" What are you trying to do? You don't mean you want to follow me to see if my master is really dead, and if not, give him another stab?

Shi Xianxue excitedly pinched its face: "So, Wu Xiutang is in Corpse Village, right!"

The Golden Boy: "Quack quack quack." I don't know, but my master is such a proud person that even if he were to die, he wouldn't leave his body to rot in the wilderness.

Its croaking stopped abruptly, and a hint of hesitation flashed in its beady eyes.

"Quack quack quack".

There was a coffin prepared for him by his master.

Shi Xianxue felt a pang of sadness upon hearing this. She placed the Golden Boy in her palm and ordered Chu Yunjian to turn around.

"Don't worry, take me to the Corpse Village. The first thing to do when we get there is to burn his coffin."

Upon hearing this, the Golden-Spitting Boy flew into a rage: "Quack quack quack quack!"

"As expected, a woman's heart is the most poisonous. Even if you hate your master, he's about to die, and you won't even leave him a coffin. What a terrifying woman!"

Even if you kill me, disembowel me, and stew me, I will never help you do such a treacherous thing!

Shi Xianxue didn't know how to set up a flying barrier, but fortunately she was still wearing the Gua Qi Diagram, which prevented her from being frozen unconscious by the cold air currents at high altitude. She was already anxious, and when she heard this, she slapped the head of the Golden Boy.

"Idiot, I mean I absolutely will not let him die!"

--

Shi Xianxue never expected that the Corpse Village was located near the Mountain of No Return, and after going around in circles, she finally returned to where she started.

She had never known that there was a mountain range with extremely complex terrain near Mount No Return. It was not a single mountain, but a series of mountains that stretched across southern Vietnam and some southwestern countries, and its slopes were even steeper than those of Mount No Return.

The dense vegetation, the thick fog, and the deep canyon make people hesitate to enter.

The deeper she went, the thicker the fog became, and more and more eerie white bones emerged. Along the way, she didn't see many demons, but rather many strange and grotesque wild beasts.

They stood atop the hill, gazing at her from afar, their shrewd and dangerous eyes gleaming eerily in the thick fog.

Shi Xianxue reached into her sleeve and thought to herself that if they showed any intention of rushing up to attack her, she would fry them up and make them into barbecue.

They did indeed show eyes that wanted to tear her apart, but after rushing forward a few steps, they suddenly stopped, tilted their heads back and sniffed, as if they had smelled a familiar scent, then took a few steps back as if in a nightmare, and then disappeared into the deep forest without looking back.

Shi Xianxue touched the divination diagram on her body, and her mind already imagined how Wu Xiutang usually interacted with them.

Once inside the forest, the Golden Boy was like a fish in water. It croaked twice and then ran to the Moon Pond, where withered branches and leaves floated, to splash around. This angered Shi Xianxue so much that she grabbed it by its hind legs and dragged it out.

Upon seeing the soil soaked with fresh blood, the Golden Boy stopped being mischievous and instead diligently made his way, pointing out the direction for his master, Xianxue.

As night fell, the temperature plummeted, and the divination chart finally began to lose its effectiveness. Enduring the cold, she followed the direction indicated by the Golden Boy and headed deeper into the jungle.

Once again, her calf was slashed by sharp poisonous thorns. As she crawled out of the mud, the Golden Boy advised her to give up, lest she become one of the many skeletons before finding her master.

Shi Xianxue endured the pain, bandaged her wound, made a makeshift crutch, and limped forward.

"Enough with the nonsense, lead the way."

The Golden Boy hopped forward while muttering to himself.

"At your current speed, by the time you arrive at Corpse Village, you'll be just in time for your master's seventh day memorial."

The terrain here is complex, and she can't fly on a sword. What can she do if she doesn't walk? Are there any other means of transportation here?

Hmm? A means of transportation?

The Golden Boy had never seen such a cunning and violent woman.

She lay down and pretended to be dead, remaining motionless, disguising herself as a delicious meal to lure out the mindless wild beasts in the forest. As they lowered their necks to sniff her, Shi Xianxue suddenly opened her eyes.

The beasts scattered in fright, but Shi Xianxue quickly grabbed one of their bushy tails, then flipped over and climbed onto it, hooking her legs around its belly and using all four limbs to entangle it.

The beasts scattered with howls, and Shi Xianxue discovered that the little beast had deer antlers, but its shape was like a tiger, and its tail was unusually long. When it was happy or extremely frightened, its tail would wag like a propeller, which was why Shi Xianxue was able to grab it in one go.

The Golden Boy, having clearly seen the forest beast she had caught, couldn't help but marvel at her good fortune: "Quack quack quack."

Are your hands blessed? How come you can grab a Zouyu beast that can travel a thousand miles a day with just one grab?

Upon hearing this, Shi Xianxue became even more determined to hold on, her limbs clinging tightly to the Zouyu beast like glue.

Seeing that it was still thrashing its hooves and trying to throw her off, Shi Xianxue thrust a dagger at it, and the Zouyu beast immediately became obedient.

When they arrived at the entrance of Corpse Village, the moon was at its highest point, and the babbling stream and the dynamic movement of birds flying across the sky came into Shi Xianxue's view.

The Zouyu escorted her to the village entrance and then ran away as if fleeing, as if there was something terrifying in the village.

Behind Shi Xianxue was a forest covered in frost and snow, exuding a sense of decay, while in front of her was a pink village full of kapok trees.

The village and the surrounding area seem like two completely different worlds. The jungle is dark, cold, dangerous, and mysterious; anyone who steps inside is doomed. But inside the Corpse Village, the temperature is just as comfortable, the light is bright, and the sky seems to be lit by an inextinguishable lantern.

Corpse Village.

Shi Xianxue really thought the whole village was littered with corpses.

But here, there are not only kapok trees, but also white and pink roses, and new lotus flowers in the green waves. Each flower is like a shy girl's face, blooming in full glory on both banks of the stream, which is as clear as a mirror. Silver ribbons pass by the mountains. When she got closer, Shi Xianxue was surprised to find that it was not a rose, but a river.

It is clearly a pearl, a fluorite, and an amber.

The entire village is clearly a dazzling jewelry city meticulously crafted by people.

The boy who spits out gold hopped around, marveling at the changes that had taken place.

The bloodstains disappeared at the village entrance. Shi Xianxue felt heavy-hearted and refused to speak again.

The Golden Boy led her to a glass-like flower house. It was a transparent glass house with white and pink climbing roses in full bloom, completely surrounding the flower house and making it impossible to see what was inside.

Shi Xianxue smelled an extremely strong stench of blood.

The Golden Boy: "Quack quack quack." He set up a barrier; you can't get in.

"Whether it can get in or not?" Shi Xianxue tossed the talisman between two fingers toward the barrier. "We'll only know after we try."

--

Wu Xiutang knew he was going to die.

The thorns on the flowers inside the flower house had been carefully trimmed, making the temperature inside even more pleasant. He curled up and lay among the flowers, feeling as if all the blood in his body had drained away, clearly sensing the loss of his life force.

First comes vision, as blackness gradually encroaches on your field of vision; then comes smell and hearing; and finally, you lose all your senses of the world.

He couldn't feel the temperature of the world; he felt as if he had become a tiny speck of dust, unknowingly sinking into darkness.

The flamingo, its neck broken, was on the verge of death. Wu Ying dragged its broken leg back to its master's side and buried its head under its master's increasingly cold palm.

As Wu Xiutang's spirit pet, it will follow Wu Xiutang to the afterlife when Wu Xiutang dies.

It was at peace, able to stay by its owner's side until the end, dying together in this warm and beautiful house. Upon closer reflection, it was actually quite happy.

But it seems the owner had a final burst of energy before death.

It saw its master struggling to sit up, his broken body barely holding on. Even as the flame of his life burned out, his face shone with a beauty that seemed to fade with death. His colorless pupils moved with difficulty, finally settling in one direction.

"Wu Ying, is that Shi Xianxue?"

Wu Ying was too weak, but he still turned his head to look, paused, and then decisively turned back. Just as he was about to answer no, he heard his extremely weak and self-deprecating voice.

"How could she possibly follow me? She finally managed to escape my clutches; she should be running far away."

“She doesn’t like me, has never considered being with me, and is even annoyed by my love.” The boy’s voice gradually became painful and distorted.

"But what am I resenting? She doesn't like me, even though she knew that all along."

He didn't even know his own background. He had no father or mother, no one to raise him, and he did many things out of necessity to survive. With such a lowly and impoverished life, how could he be worthy of the goddess's love?

Nobody liked him, nobody would ever love him; this was how his life was supposed to be.

What is he indulging in wishful thinking about?

Wu Xiutang did not give up on himself for long; the resentment in his chest made him breathe rapidly.

"I'm not reconciled. I don't care if she's a goddess or a celestial maiden. I should capture her and perish with her."

Otherwise, once he dies, she will definitely be eager to marry Li Fuchao.

Wu Ying never expected that his master's obsession with Shi Xianxue was so deep that even on his deathbed, all he could think about was Shi Xianxue.

It didn't know what to say.

This was the first time it had seen its emotionally deprived owner so conflicted and in pain. But thinking that this was also the last time, it felt sorry for its owner and its resentment towards Shi Xianxue deepened involuntarily.

The barrier was shaking; someone was trying to break in.

But the owner was no longer aware of it.

When Wu Ying looked over, he had already fallen asleep again.

It looked up at its owner for a long time, and when it saw that he was no longer breathing, it finally stood up and walked shakily towards the outside of the flower house.

Shi Xianxue had already expended a lot of mental energy. She tried to force her way through the barrier, but was instead attacked by the spiritual energy brought by the barrier, leaving her covered in wounds and her mouth filled with a rusty, bloody taste.

Just as she got up again, ready to fight to the death with the barrier, the obstacle in front of her suddenly disappeared.

Shi Xianxue looked up, panting heavily. Wu Ying was staring at her with its deep blue eyes. Its pure white and soft fur was tangled with blood, hanging in strands on its body, completely losing its former glory.

Just when she thought Wu Ying was going to stop her, Wu Ying shifted her body and turned her head away.

It swept past me like the wind.

It watched her limping figure as she walked away, and closed the door with mixed feelings.

The flowers inside the glass flower house were withering rapidly. The boy sat there silently, the fluorescent light casting a lifeless, pale glow on his face. It was as if all the blood in his body had been drained. The withering of the roses foreshadowed the rapid disappearance of his life force.

Shi Xianxue subconsciously softened her breathing and sat opposite him. She cupped the boy's delicate but lifeless face and carefully wiped away the bloodstains on his cheek.

"Wu Xiutang, I will save you."

The boy could no longer respond, and the Wheel of Order between his eyebrows remained frozen.

She desperately held back her tears, and the serpentine holy mark on her forehead lit up.

“Wu Ying said your soul is exhausted, so I can’t use the power of repair. I know you hate the parasitic curse controlling you, but I have no other choice.” She pressed her forehead against Wu Xiutang’s. “If we fail, then I’ll die with you.”

--

As Wu Xiutang's power diminished, the light in the sky above Corpse Village slowly dimmed, and the spiritual power that suppressed the corpse energy of this land dissipated into the morning mist. Finally, the parched earth cracked open, revealing grim white bones covered in rotting flesh.

And that spiritual energy, that last vestige of consciousness, broke through the clouds.

Gazing at the sea, where water and sky merge into one, the bright moon shines over the Tianshan Mountains, and the sea of clouds rolls by. In this spring-like weather, time begins to rush backward.

The once prosperous continent has been transformed back into a barren and primitive ecosystem by the rewinding of time.

The creator god bestowed life, and the creatures of this land began an extremely long process of development and practice from nothing to something. Unequal distribution of resources and rapid development were accompanied by war. The law of the jungle will forever apply to this continent.

Demons and gods, demons and humans, humans and humans—they always find various reasons to wage war, resulting in widespread devastation and, after thousands of years, finding no suitable land to live on.

The mainland rehearsed the exercise at least a thousand times, but the result was always the same. The spiritual energy grew tired of watching and began to doze off on the snow-white clouds.

After a deafening roar, the spiritual energy knew that the creatures of this land had once again chosen to perish together with each other.

At the same time, the flow of time stopped, and the space around them began to twist and distort like dough, with spiritual energy rising at an astonishing speed.

After reaching an unexpected height, the results of each event were displayed on a blue screen.

There are approximately hundreds or thousands of faces, arranged together.

He felt as if he had entered a void, where everything was floating. He stared blankly at the blue screens, unsure of what to do next.

Until that golden spirit in the shape of a flame flew over from the dark sky.

Its voice was childish, and it circled Wu Xiutang from head to calves, flying back and forth several times as if trying to confirm something. Finally, it cried out in despair, "Why? Why is the God of Order a human?"

What?

God of order?

What is he saying?

“What am I saying? I’m saying you are neither human nor demon, but the supreme God of Order!” It seemed to see through Wu Xiutang’s thoughts and patiently explained to him.

"The God of Order and the God of Creation are equally revered. The God of Creation was born at the beginning of creation, representing creation and new life. When the world no longer needs her, she perishes. The God of Order, on the other hand, appears when the order of heaven and earth is about to be disrupted, and judges whether the world needs to restart the era according to her own will."

"The black and white Dharma wheel on your forehead is the Dharma wheel of order. Your protective spirit can help you restore your identity as the God of Order, but you have actually exhausted all of your spirit."

The boy remained completely unmoved, calmer than ever before, or perhaps utterly indifferent to his own identity. The Wheel of Order seemed to have come to a standstill, highlighting the cold, wary look in his eyes: "And what are you?"

The gods of order are arrogant and usually quite impolite.

The little flame seemed to have gotten used to it, and immediately changed to a fawning attitude, saying, "I am the soul of the Lord. I have come to protect you and lead you back to the path of God."

"Protect me?" Wu Xiutang sneered.

Throughout his life, he was bullied, hurt, and deceived, but he was never protected by anyone.

These three words were enough to break the defenses of the Soul of Serving the Lord, and its body began to expand rapidly. "This is not my fault. The Soul of Serving the Lord has experienced so many world era restarts, and it has never seen an Order God appear in human form. This form is the most troublesome and has the most weaknesses."

The small flame transformed into the form of Wu Xiutang, and a golden halo surrounded the two of them, reading his unknown memories.

“Look, I have always been following you, but someone broke the rules. He sensed your difference when you were born, sealed me with the lives of your blood relatives, and even broke your divine bones, forcing you to burn your blood and soul to protect yourself.”

"I can only appear to you now when you are in a state between life and death."

"That's why I say the human form is the most troublesome; its weaknesses outweigh its numbers."

Wu Xiutang lowered his eyes slightly, his expression showing a hint of clarity, as if he were pondering something.

So, would someone who knew he was the Order Keeper at the moment of his birth, who had a way to seal the Soul of the Lord, and who knew how to deal with him, be so easily killed by him?

"However, the good news is that the Demon Lord and the Goddess have appeared in your world at the same time. They possess the divine power left by the Creator God. Since you two are both true gods, with the help of her power, it will be just around the corner for you to restore your souls."

goddess.

His brows were furrowed, as if he were lost in unpleasant memories.

Seeing his pained expression, the Soul of the Lord sighed helplessly: "So, why did you appear in human form? The green willows are shrouded in the darkness of spring, and the mortal world is full of dramas. Humans are the most emotionally complex race. If you weren't bound by this, you would have already reverted to your identity as the God of Order."

"Don't worry, this time I'll take you back and help you get rid of the disturbances of your seven emotions and six desires."

The spirit of the Lord transformed into energy and entered the Wheel of Order between his forehead, but the boy's expression became even more pained, his brows furrowed, and he curled up in a resistant posture, as if sharp thorns had sprung up all over his body, vehemently resisting the intrusion of the spirit of the Lord.

His years of wandering and hardship as a human being had instilled in him an instinctive resistance to anyone getting close. Even when the spirit of the Lord revealed his identity, he no longer easily trusted anyone.

After several attempts were repeatedly rejected, the light emanating from the Lord's soul grew increasingly dim.

"What are you doing? I'm trying to help you! Let me in! Otherwise, you'll really disappear from this world!"

The soul of the Lord is still sealed in darkness, and his power is very limited. If he is delayed any longer, he will fall into a deep sleep again, and it is unknown when he will wake up next.

"I'm not kidding, I'm really going to fall asleep again!"

The boy was completely unaware.

The spirit of the Lord frantically circled around his body, crying out, "We'll die, we'll all die, this world is doomed."

Just before its soul light was about to fade, a warm, radiant light, as bright as the sun and moon, embraced it.

The spirit of the Lord was stunned.

The serpentine sacred mark is the parasitic curse of the creator god.

In the moment it froze, the light passed right through it and entered the Wheel of Order without any hindrance. Seeing this, the Soul of the Lord, without even a moment to be surprised, quickly squeezed in.

It's really frustrating. It's clearly a servant of the God of Order, and a part of him, yet now it has to rely on an outsider to return to the God of Order's body.

This God of Order is siding with outsiders.

But before it could lose its essence, it heard the goddess's most beautiful blessing from the void.

“Wu Xiutang, using the Parasitic Curse as a medium, I establish a divine pact with you, wishing to share my lifespan, my goddess power, and everything I have with you. We will share life and death, joy and sorrow, and never betray each other.”

"Please, you have to wake up!"

The soul that served the Lord was still thinking before it returned to darkness.

No wonder the God of Order's resolve wavered and he fell in love with her; it turns out the Creator God's power is so gentle and beautiful that it's impossible not to be captivated by it.

--

As the first rays of sunlight shone into the glass flower house, Shi Xianxue's thoughts returned to her body. Her senses became clear, but she felt that the boy in her arms had become cold and stiff.

Did it fail?

Wu Xiutang—he's dead.

For the first time, the goddess experienced the pain of her heart being torn apart. Tears welled up in her eyes and rolled down her cheeks. She wailed and hugged him tightly.

"I haven't even apologized to you yet, Wu Xiutang, how could you die? I don't hate you, I really enjoy being with you, please wake up, please."

The flamingo with its broken neck lay helplessly among the withered flowers. Just as it was about to ask if it could save the flamingo first if its owner was beyond saving, the withered petals in front of it suddenly changed.

First, the petals and stamens slowly contracted back, and then suddenly burst open forward.

One flower, two flowers, and before long, the beautiful flowers and rare herbs in the entire flower house were like the spring-viewing mountain pavilion, having exhausted their spring light.

Shi Xianxue had obviously noticed it too. Overjoyed, she released Wu Xiutang and stared intently at his face.

Sure enough, the Wheel of Order on the boy's forehead slowly began to turn. As his body temperature gradually rose, his butterfly-like eyelashes trembled gently, and Shi Xianxue's figure was reflected in the boy's golden pupils.

Shi Xianxue's face gradually lit up with surprise, her eyes bright as stars, radiating joy. "Wu Xiutang, I knew I could save you! That's wonderful! I'll go tell Wu Ying..."

Before she could even stand up, the boy grabbed her shoulders and knocked her down onto the soft flower branch, petals splashing up like pearls of saliva.

Layers of flower shadows peek through, letting in dappled sunlight, creating a chaotic, falling scene.

The boy bit her neck with the desperate ferocity of a small beast, with a force that seemed to want to devour her. Bright red blood, like hibiscus juice, slid down her white teeth from her neck.

Flower shadows are scattered, and the warbling of orioles is broken.

Rapid, fragmented moans escaped her lips uncontrollably. The sharp pain made her resist involuntarily, but her resistance only resulted in the boy treating her more roughly. His hand reached down without hesitation, tearing the fabric to cover her screams. The divination chart instantly turned into a pile of useless rags in his hand.

Sensing the fluctuations of its owner's spiritual energy, the climbing vines began to grow rapidly until they completely enveloped the transparent glass flower house, preventing any light from penetrating.

Wu Ying knew that its master had woken up, and was overjoyed. It tried to rush inside, but the barrier treated it as an intruder and launched an attack.

Just as it was filled with astonishment, a fiery red figure was thrown out.

The flamingo thought it was going to die, but when it was thrown out again, it found that its broken neck had been completely healed. It happily frolicked in the yard, and when Wu Ying grabbed it and asked what had happened, its face turned bright red.

It didn't know how to describe what it had just seen, so it could only speak vaguely.

"Master's mating season comes so frequently."

Even if Shi Xianxue was slow to notice, she noticed Wu Xiutang's abnormality. She couldn't understand what went wrong that caused Wu Xiutang to not only be mentally unstable but also to enter a bipolar disorder, liking to bite people and destroy anything he found objectionable.

The restless boy only stopped briefly when his palm touched her smooth, delicate skin. He stared at her body almost in a daze, his golden eyes filled with infatuation.

Beneath the throbbing pulse lies a heart that cannot contain itself.

Shi Xianxue was both ashamed and afraid. She had already been bitten several times and was afraid that he would go crazy again.

So, when she met those eyes filled with an indescribable, chaotic light, she bit his lip first.
