Chapter 279 Extra: Lu Mochuan & Han Yuxi (1)

Han Yuxi was born with a silver spoon in her mouth and is a somewhat spoiled young lady.

Because of her personality, coupled with her perfect background and beautiful face, she was ostracized by some people starting in high school.

She is proud and often disdains to explain herself, which results in her having few friends and constantly feeling frustrated.

It wasn't until Lu Mochuan appeared that her mindset changed.

On her first day of university, she found herself in the same class as the person she hated most.

That woman came directly to cause trouble, and she couldn't help but lose her temper in public, ultimately finding herself in the wrong.

In a fit of anger, she skipped evening self-study and ran away.

The surroundings were all unfamiliar. The back street of the school was very lively, with many alleys featuring ethnic characteristics.

Han Yuxi walked through the crowd with red eyes, unable to shake off the depression in her heart.

She unknowingly wandered into an alley lined with bars, and when she came to her senses, the deafening music left her feeling somewhat bewildered.

There are many bars, each with its own unique character.

Through the gate, she could still vaguely see what was happening inside; the dancers on the stage were either hot women or muscular men.

Han Yuxi walked into the alley alone, as if she were a lamb entering a tiger's den.

Upon seeing the people greeting them at the entrance, a group of people rushed forward with great enthusiasm.

"Hey miss, come play with us for a while, we have lots of handsome guys here."

"We have lots of pretty young ladies here."

"Miss, since you're so pretty, we'll give you all your drinks for free."

...

Han Yuxi, caught in the middle, blushed shamefully.

She had never been to a bar, nor did she have the courage to. If her parents found out, they would definitely break her legs.

"No need, no need, thank you."

Han Yuxi fled in panic, but the alley was longer than she had imagined. Along the way, she refused more times than she had ever lived in her entire life.

After all that commotion, her frustration actually lessened considerably.

As she was about to leave the alley, she couldn't help but slow her pace.

She was soon drawn to a tavern called "Like Flowing Water".

Unlike other noisy and smoky bars, this one has very simple facilities: a stage with five resident singers standing or sitting on it, singing songs with a vintage feel, giving people a sense of tranquility.

The audience was almost full, and business was exceptionally good.

For some reason, on this lonely night, Han Yuxi suddenly felt a strong urge to go inside and let loose.

The people greeting guests at the door were initially drawn in by the music, and only now do they see Han Yuxi.

He hurriedly pulled his companions, grabbed his equipment, and greeted them with a broad smile.

"Miss, would you like to come in and listen to some music?"

"I……"

"Don't hesitate any longer. You're pretty, so we'll give you a 20% discount on drinks and a 40% discount on alcohol. How about that?"

"Come in and have a seat, miss."

"Yeah, miss, it's okay even if you don't order anything, just come in and listen to some music."

"Yes, yes, all the male singers we have are young and handsome."

Han Yuxi just glanced at him, and he really is quite young and handsome.

Finally, Han Yuxi reluctantly followed him inside.

They had originally arranged for her to sit at the first table, but because Han Yuxi insisted, she went to a small corner herself.

Now that she was inside, Han Yuxi felt it would be impolite not to make a purchase.

But the thought of going home that night made her realize that she would be in big trouble if her parents found out she had been drinking.

She hesitated for a while before ordering a Sprite.

The waiter's involuntary smile made Han Yuxi feel embarrassed.

The drink arrived quickly, and Han Yuxi sipped it slowly.

The noise inside the tavern was quite loud, and Han Yuxi felt her heart was boiling, all the unpleasantness was thrown to the back of her mind.

Although the songs were a bit dated and she didn't understand them very well, it didn't stop her from relaxing.

She involuntarily closed her eyes, and when the song ended, the audience suddenly erupted in excitement.

Unable to contain her curiosity, Han Yuxi opened her eyes and was immediately struck by her beauty.

The performer on stage has changed. The new guy is wearing a clean white shirt, and his smile is brighter than the sunshine.

What's most amazing is his impeccable facial features; Han Yuxi has never seen such a clean-cut and handsome boy.

Although she wasn't exactly infatuated, her heart still couldn't help but pound faster.

Lu Mochuan put down the violin case and adjusted the position of the microphone.

He's handsome and can sing; Han Yuxi really can't help but take a second look.

Their eyes met for a moment, and Han Yuxi lowered her head shyly.

When the song ended, the entire audience applauded.

The next song will be sung by Lu Mochuan.

He has a pleasant voice and is still singing songs that are a bit dated, since almost everyone in the audience except her is an older man or woman.

Han Yuxi hadn't planned to stay long, but she inexplicably liked Lu Mochuan's voice.

After he finished singing a song, it was four more people's turn before it was his turn, and Han Yuxi was surprisingly patient.

Finally, it was Lu Mochuan's turn, and Han Yuxi couldn't help but pick up a glow stick.

Just then, Lu Mochuan's gaze fell upon them, making Han Yuxi feel somewhat embarrassed. Fortunately, Lu Mochuan quickly looked away.

Han Yuxi saw Lu Mochuan tap a few times on his phone, and someone next to him leaned over and said something.

Just then, Han Yuxi understood the lip reading of those words, "Why did you suddenly change the song?"

Lu Mochuan said something with a smile, but Han Yuxi couldn't understand what he was talking about.

Han Yuxi was slightly shocked when the music started playing.

It's actually a new song that's been really popular lately, finally not an old song?

Han Yuxi wasn't sure if it was just her imagination, but she thought she saw Lu Mochuan raise an eyebrow in her direction.

Could it be...?

Han Yuxi quickly shook her head, trying not to overthink it, especially about the men who worked in this kind of place.

Hearing the familiar melody, the singing in her ears surpassed the original singer's, and Han Yuxi waved her glow stick rhythmically.

The song ended.

Han Yuxi was somewhat disappointed.

But the next second, she heard the man say, "Thank you everyone, and thank you to the girl in the corner for the glow stick."

Han Yuxi's face flushed red instantly, and her heart felt like it was about to jump out of her chest.

At this moment, she didn't want to leave even more.

People behind them egged her on to play the violin, and it was at this moment that Han Yuxi learned the man's name: Lu Mochuan.

What a lovely name.

Lu Mochuan didn't spoil the mood and readily pulled her up.

The once bustling tavern instantly changed its atmosphere.

But no one objected; instead, they all looked on with anticipation.

Han Yuxi, like everyone else, was full of anticipation.

Lu Mochuan seemed to be enjoying this moment. He gently closed his eyes and skillfully played the violin.

Han Yuxi didn't know much about the violin, but at this moment, she felt it was the most beautiful music in the world.
