The sunlight slipped into the room through the gap in the curtains. The clock on the bedside table showed noon. The room was so quiet that after a while, there was a slight movement on the bed.
Li Ke woke up slightly, feeling dizzy. He wanted to raise his hands to support his forehead, but found that his hands were tied tightly. His wrists were rubbed raw and he felt a slight pain. His feet were also tied.
