Chapter 8 Pig Strong

"Don't let me meet you in a life-and-death battle!"

The Tibetan Mastiff's eyes became particularly fierce.

Zhang Heng ignored the Tibetan Mastiff. There was still a whole day before the auditions, and it couldn't hunt and grow here, so he turned around and chatted with Zhu Jianqiang.

As Zhang Heng observed while talking, he noticed that Zhu Jianqiang also had a blue battle code printed on his left side, right in front of him. So, this must be the Tibetan Mastiff's battle code.

He also discovered that this pig was truly remarkable. Even with such severe injuries, it showed no sign of pain. As the conversation progressed, the pig's strong language skills gradually improved, and it was now able to speak complete sentences.

However, Zhang Heng was also curious about the reason why Zhu Jianqiang joined the battle.

"I was held down by a human, and the master even tried to stab me to death with a knife. But I didn't want to die. Even though it hurt, I wanted to live. I struggled desperately, but watched helplessly as the tip of the knife got closer and closer. I didn't want to be so powerless again. I didn't want to be like my aunt and second uncle, turned into twice-cooked pork, braised pig's trotters, sweet and sour spare ribs, fish-flavored shredded pork, stir-fried pig intestines..."

There was a flash of deep fear and unwillingness in the pig's strong eyes.

"Gudong, oh oh, so that's how it is, gudong..."

Zhang Heng nodded pretentiously, his saliva dripping. Ever since he became an animal, the word "delicious" had said goodbye to him. Now that Zhu Jianqiang had brought back memories of delicious food, he was even more greedy.

"Pig Strong, you don't need to say more. I deeply sympathize and understand your experience. Humans are so hateful. I just worked hard and relied on my own efforts to find food, but in the end I was chased and beaten by them."

Zhang Heng licked his lips and stopped Zhu Jianqiang from continuing to list the dishes.

"So it's not easy for you too!"

Zhu Jianqiang stretched out his left hoof and touched Zhang Heng comfortingly.

"Humph! Such is the ugliness of a lowly species."

The Tibetan Mastiff on the side seemed to be pretending to sleep with its eyes closed, but in fact it was eavesdropping on the conversation between Zhang Heng and Zhu Jianqiang. Their tragic experience made the Tibetan Mastiff unable to stop gloating.

When it thought about how it was different from them and was pampered and served well when humans were still around, a sense of superiority arose from the bottom of its heart.

Even if the world has changed now, as a ferocious Tibetan Mastiff, my chances of survival are far better than those two pieces of trash.

However, this is a life-and-death struggle among more than 8 trillion animals, and the Tibetan Mastiff cannot guarantee that it will be the last one standing.

Zhang Heng looked at the mountains in the distance, feeling uneasy. He couldn't help but sigh.

"Don't laugh at me for sleeping drunk on the battlefield. How many men have ever returned from battles in history?"
