Chapter 170 Taking Down Half the Internet
Those two simple words were like a potent medicine, sending a shiver down the spines of the four men.
"What did my sister-in-law just say?"
She said yes!
"I'm not seeing things, am I?"
"It's impossible that all four of us were wrong at the same time."
"So it's true?"
Holy crap! *4
After a brief moment of astonishment came ecstasy.
It wasn't just the four people; all the fans who had been following this story went crazy.
"What? Zhou Tianyi is going to hold a concert?"
"What the heck, am I supposed to eat poop upside down? Hahaha, whatever, compared to a concert, it's just a pile of poop, I'll eat it!"
"Can someone tell me this isn't a dream?!"
Less than five minutes after An Yutang posted the Weibo post, a bunch of people flooded her Weibo page and tagged her like crazy.
Five hundred.
A thousand.
Ten thousand.
The number of comments is growing at a visible rate.
...
"Brother Wang, the promotion is all set up. The news of your song release will be announced soon." The assistant said helplessly, looking at Brother Wang's nervous expression as he scrolled through Weibo.
"Won't something unexpected happen?" Brother Wang asked with some concern.
This isn't the first time he's released a song; every time he tries to dominate the top spot on the trending topics, he always ends up in second place.
The assistant laughed after hearing this, "Brother Wang, you're just overthinking it. It's not like every time it's such a coincidence that someone tries to steal your spot on the trending topics as soon as you release a song."
The assistant didn't believe in such superstitions; he had consulted many friends in the industry to confirm the date.
Whenever Brother Wang releases a song, it inevitably tops the trending searches.
"Do you think something big is going to happen right after I announce the release of my song?" Brother Wang knew he was overthinking it; it was impossible for things to happen so coincidentally every time.
So he laughed at himself, and his assistant shook his head, quite certain: "Impossible, you can relax."
"It's already been released." Brother Wang didn't answer, but glanced at his phone instead.
"See, I told you it was impossible. Who would release a song at the same time as you?" The assistant glanced at Weibo and saw that the news of Brother Wang releasing a new song had quickly been pushed to the top three of the trending topics by fans.
However, to the assistant's surprise, a group of fans started making a fuss under the post, saying that something big was about to happen.
The assistant looked on helplessly. What? Brother Wang's song release has become a major trend in the entertainment industry?
Hmph, this time I'm going to do the opposite of what you want, just to make you furious.
"Refresh your Weibo," Brother Wang suddenly said.
The assistant was stunned for a moment, but still obediently refreshed Weibo. He glanced at Weibo and exclaimed in surprise, "We're already second! We'll be first soon, Brother Wang!"
"That's not what I want you to see. Look at the fifth scarf." Brother Wang's face showed no sign of happiness; instead, he said with a strange expression.
Article 5?
The assistant looked down and his face immediately turned a deep purplish-red.
"Zhou Tianyi...is he going to have a concert?"
After a moment, the assistant looked up, bewildered, and muttered to himself.
Brother Wang gave a wry smile and nodded, saying, "You didn't see wrong. I really hope we did."
At this moment, the assistant completely ignored what Brother Wang said. He picked up his phone and refreshed the page again. In the blink of an eye, the Weibo post that was originally ranked fifth instantly rose to the top.
"grass!"
The assistant was so angry he almost smashed his phone, until he noticed Brother Wang's resentful gaze.
Seeing this, he could only say awkwardly, "Brother Wang, you can't blame me for this. Who knew Zhou Tianyi would announce a concert? Blame Zhou Tianyi."
He hurriedly distanced himself from the matter, which only further confirmed the fact that Brother Wang was indeed the second brother Wang, leaving him with no way to refute it.
Upon hearing this, Brother Wang pretended to raise his hand. His assistant, thinking he was about to hit him, quickly dodged to the side. However, Brother Wang simply held up his phone and said:
"What are you still standing here for? Hurry up and go find someone to grab a ticket for me."
"But they haven't even announced when the song will be released yet... Okay, okay, don't get excited, I'll go, I'll go right away."
The assistant dared not linger, fearing he would be slapped by Brother Wang. He grabbed his phone and hurriedly left the office.
On the scarf.
Before anyone realized the seriousness of the situation, they discovered that Wang Lao Er had posted on Weibo.
"Brother Wang posted a scarf on Weibo. Does this mean something big is about to happen in the entertainment industry?"
"Something terrible has happened! Something terrible has happened! Zhou Tianyi said he's going to hold a concert!"
Sure enough, the moment Wang Ge posted on Weibo, the comments section was instantly flooded with Zhou Tianyi's fans.
When everyone logged off Weibo, they found that news about Zhou Tianyi's upcoming concert had taken the top spot on the trending list, and no one could shake it.
Its popularity far surpassed the combined popularity of all other Weibo posts, and countless netizens flocked to Weibo to check the trending topics after learning the news.
Less than ten minutes after An Yutang posted her message, other major media outlets immediately followed up with the news on Weibo. Soon, the news that Zhou Tianyi was going to hold a concert spread throughout the entire internet.
"Wife, Tianyi is going to hold a concert." Jue Lun told Xia Youyou as soon as he received the news.
"What did you say?" Xia Youyou's first reaction upon seeing the message was disbelief.
“It’s true, go check it out on Weibo.” Jue Lun replied happily. Xia Youyou didn’t object to his way of addressing her, which made him very happy.
Xia Youyou, who had no time to care about the title of "unparalleled," hurriedly opened Weibo. After seeing the message on Weibo, the usually quiet and elegant Xia Youyou couldn't help but swear: "Holy crap!"
