Chapter 187 The Dragon's Memorial Hall

Chapter 188 The Dragon's Memorial Hall

Rising Star Station in Japan.

"Family, I have arrived in Shinshu, Japan. Our journey in Japan is about to begin. My first step is to go and see where my friend Ryoko is."

"Aha, I see Ryoko. She's waving at me. I'll talk to you later."

Xiao Yue turned off the camera temporarily and ran towards Liangzi, who was waving from a distance.

"Ugh, Xiao Yue-chan, put me down! So many people are watching!"

Unexpectedly, when Xiao Yue came to Ryoko, Ryoko had just opened her arms when she was picked up by him.

This made Ryoko a little shy, especially with so many people watching and their gazes looking at her with a strange expression.

However, Xiao Yue didn't care. She shook her head and said, "No, Ryoko, we haven't seen each other for so long. I've missed you so much."

That's what she said, but after a while, Xiao Yue put Ryoko down. She rubbed Ryoko's cheeks and said with a grin, "It's been so long, your skin is getting better and better. Do you have a boyfriend now?"

"No, if you keep making fun of me, I won't sleep with you tonight." Ryoko pouted and said cutely, which made Xiao Yue laugh out loud.

"Ryoko is so cute! Shall we go to your house next?" Xiao Yue asked after a moment of playful banter.

Ryoko nodded: "Yeah, in your words, it's called welcoming you back with a shower... or a rain shower?"

"It's a welcome dinner, huh? Ryoko's Chinese is still so non-standard."

"Oh dear, I don't want to either, but idioms are too difficult, I can't learn them," Ryoko complained.

"It's okay, I'll teach you," Xiao Yue said with a chuckle.

"Let's go." Ryoko nodded, helped Xiao Yue pick up her luggage, and let Xiao Yue continue recording her vlog.

"What's wrong? Ryoko, why aren't you leaving?"

As they walked, Xiao Yue suddenly noticed Liangzi stop and look to the side, so she asked curiously.

"Ah, it's nothing." Ryoko looked away and shook her head. She thought she had just seen someone who looked familiar.

Suddenly, Ryoko noticed Xiao Yue's camera pointed directly at her face, and quickly covered her face shyly, saying, "Oh dear, Xiao Yue-chan, please take the camera away, I'm getting airsick..."

“Ryoko is so beautiful, we should show her to everyone more often. I have a lot of fans, do you know what they said after seeing you?” Xiao Yue pointed the camera at herself and asked.

"What did you say?" Ryoko asked, somewhat curious.

"Everyone wants to take you back to China; you suddenly have so many husbands."

"Ugh, how could they do this? That's too much! I belong to Xiao Yue-chan, hmph~"

The two walked and laughed, their laughter filled with joy.

After taking Xiao Yue to her residence, Xiao Yue quickly packed her luggage and then continued recording videos.

"Ryoko, tell me, what are your plans for me?" Xiao Yue asked, swaying as she hugged Ryoko.

Ryoko was preparing lunch for Xiao Yue when she heard Xiao Yue's words. She stopped and smiled, "You'll find out this afternoon. I'm sure you'll be satisfied."

"If you're not satisfied, I'll eat you up." Xiao Yue revealed her pearly white tiger teeth, completely oblivious to her image in front of the camera.

Soon, the two finished lunch. Having lived in Japan for so long, what Xiao Yue found most difficult to get used to was their food. But now, eating it again, she felt a sense of nostalgia.

After a short rest, Ryoko took Xiaoyue out. She was in charge of finding fun and delicious places, while Xiaoyue was in charge of recording videos. Ryoko was already used to this.

"Xiao Yue, there are so many fun places here in Xinxiu, even more than where we used to go to school."

As they walked, Ryoko introduced Xiao Yue to her workplace, and Xiao Yue listened attentively.

Although I studied in Japan before, my activities didn't include Shinshu, and I'd never heard of any fun places there.

Now that I've returned after so many years, I imagine that many places in Japan have developed just like China, naturally giving rise to many new and interesting places.

"So, Ryoko, where are you planning to take me?" Xiao Yue asked curiously.

"You'll find out once you follow me," Ryoko said with a mysterious smile.

Before long, the two arrived at the largest shopping street in Xinxiu. Xiao Yue looked at Liangzi and asked, "Liangzi, are you going to take me shopping?"

"Of course, Xiao Yue, I remember you love shopping the most, so I brought you to the biggest shopping street in our Xinxiu area. There are lots of fun things to do there."

Seeing Xiao Yue's surprised expression, Ryoko said with a hint of astonishment.

Xiao Yue nodded and smiled, "Then I'll listen to Ryoko."

The two entered the commercial street, which was simply a paradise of goods. Apart from some common items, most of them were eye-opening for Xiao Yue.

It was as if they had suddenly stepped from the three-dimensional world into the two-dimensional world. Even someone like Xiao Yue, who had no interest in two-dimensional things, bought a lot of figurines.

Moreover, there are many anime and manga merchandise items here, and Xiao Yue even saw various characters and related items from her childhood anime.

It has everything from ninjas and Chibi Maruko-chan to Shin-chan and Shenron, making it a paradise for anime and manga lovers.

And so, the two strolled around the shopping street for the entire afternoon. By the end, they were both exhausted, so Ryoko said to Xiaoyue, "Xiaoyue-chan, I'll take you to eat something delicious."

Xiao Yue rubbed her stomach. Although she had bought a lot of delicious food along the way, she was still a little hungry after walking for so long, so she nodded.

The two walked through the commercial street and headed towards the main street. The high-rise buildings in Xinxiu were similar to those in Chinese cities, mostly office buildings.

After walking for an unknown amount of time, Xiao Yue saw Liangzi suddenly stop. She thought they had arrived at the restaurant, but before she could ask, she found that Liangzi was just standing there, closing her eyes and remaining silent for a moment.

"Ryoko, what are you doing?" Xiao Yue looked around, feeling a little confused. Ryoko's expression looked very devout.

“I’m praying to the dragon,” Ryoko replied, blinking.

"Dragon?" Xiao Yue asked, a question mark appearing on her forehead, indicating that she didn't understand.

"You don't know about dragons?" Ryoko asked, as if she had seen something unbelievable.

Xiao Yue gave an awkward smile; Liangzi's expression made her think that she didn't know what a terrible thing dragons were.

"This is a memorial to the dragon, and many people come here to pray to him."

Fortunately, Ryoko quickly realized that it was normal for a Chinese person not to know about dragons; after all, he was our Martial Saint.

"A memorial hall? Shall we go in and take a look?"

Xiao Yue said she had never heard of such a person in Japan and thought he was a historical figure. She couldn't help but feel a little curious, so she made the suggestion.

Ryoko thought for a moment, then nodded and said, "Sure, but Xiao Yue-chan, please don't make any noise when you go in."

Xiao Yue nodded obediently, raised the camera in her hand, and looked at her questioningly.

Xiao Yue suddenly realized, and said, "You can take pictures, but you have to be quiet, otherwise it will disturb the dragon."

Xiao Yue nodded readily and followed Liangzi into the memorial hall.
