Chapter 77 The most beautiful thing isn't a rainy day, but the eaves we sheltered from together.

The snowy plateau, the Potala Palace.

The scenery is picturesque and breathtaking.

Zhou Tianyi and An Yutang traveled westward, crossing high mountains and deep forests, and arrived at the holy land in western Tibet.

Standing in the square, gazing at the palace bathed in the glow of the sunset, it felt as if my soul was being purified.

The two held hands and started from the square, taking one step at a time, and climbed up the platform to enjoy the different scenery.

"Tianyi, do you remember what you said?"

Suddenly, An Yutang turned to look at Zhou Tianyi.

Zhou Tianyi smiled slightly: "Which sentence are you referring to?"

"The most beautiful thing is not the rainy day, but the eaves where we sheltered from the rain."

An Yutang said softly, her grip on Zhou Tianyi's hand tightening involuntarily.

"You mean, you weren't even dating me back then, how could you write such great lyrics? Did you have your eye on another girl?"

An Yutang's pretty face slightly hardened, and a sly glint flashed in her eyes.

Upon hearing this, Zhou Tian chuckled and said, "Of course... no."

Upon hearing the first half of Zhou Tianyi's sentence, An Yutang frowned slightly, only to hear the second half.

Before she could speak, Zhou Tianyi lightly flicked An Yutang's forehead and laughed, "Silly girl, don't you know that all unexpected encounters are premeditated?"

After saying that, he let go of An Yutang's hand and ran towards the palace.

An Yutang touched her forehead, paused for a moment, and then suddenly realized, "Oh, so you dare to flick me."

As she spoke, An Yutang followed Zhou Tian with light steps.

The two ran all the way up to the palace, their steps brimming with a happiness unique to them.

There weren't many tourists visiting the palace; most of them were couples like Zhou Tianyi and An Yutang.

As the two were laughing and joking, a tourist noticed them and stared at them for a while.

"These two are such a perfect match."

The man was handsome and the woman was beautiful; they were a perfect match.

This was the first time she had ever seen such a well-matched couple.

Without thinking, she picked up her phone, ready to take a picture of the two of them.

Suddenly, a figure stood in front of her.

"Hello, you can't take pictures here."

It was a monk. He blocked the woman's phone and shook his head slightly as he spoke.

The woman was taken aback for a moment, but quickly recovered and apologized, "I'm sorry, sir."

She put away her phone, bowed, and left under the monk's watchful gaze.

Where are they?

Xiao Yue searched all around, but couldn't find Zhou Tianyi and An Yutang.

She passed through the main hall, came to the side hall, and then waded along the stone path to the corner tower.

They searched for Zhou Tianyi and An Yutang along the way, but to no avail.

"An'an, let's sit there and rest for a bit. I'm going to the restroom."

The two arrived in front of the wordless stele, sat on the stone bench, and Zhou Tianyi stood up and said to An Yutang.

“Okay, go ahead,” An Yutang said, waving her hand.

Zhou Tianyi looked at An Yutang, who was captivated by the beautiful scenery, a tenderness flashing in his eyes, and then he smiled and left.

Upon arriving at the main gate, he found a monk and asked, "May I ask you for a favor?"

"Please speak, benefactor," the monk said kindly, looking at Zhou Tianyi.

Zhou Tianyi leaned close to the monk's ear and whispered what he wanted to say to him.

After listening, the monk looked troubled and said, "Benefactor, I'm sorry, but I'm afraid this won't work."

He felt no guilt towards Zhou Tianyi, because so many couples come here every year.

Among them are people like Zhou Tianyi, who want to use them to win the hearts of girls.

After being rejected too many times, you become numb to it.

Moreover, of all the requests the monks heard, Zhou Tianyi's request was barely the most outrageous.

Palaces are solemn and dignified places; how can they be tainted by worldly affairs?

"I've heard a legend about the palace: if you can get a spirit bird to land on your shoulder, the palace will grant you one request. Is that true?"

Hearing the monk's refusal, Zhou Tianyi was not discouraged, but continued to speak.

"There is such a legend, but..." the monk replied after a moment's thought.

"Since there's this legend, then there's no problem."

Zhou Tianyi interrupted the monk's words with a gesture and laughed.

"Come with me."

As he spoke, Zhou Tianyi walked toward a secluded corner. The monk hesitated for a moment before following him.

On the other side.

As Zhou Tianyi left, An Yutang's eyes searched around, and suddenly she spotted a tourist, her eyes lighting up.

"Hello."

An Yutang walked up to him, greeted him warmly, and smiled.

"Hello...

Xiao Yue was stunned for a moment, then smiled.

I never expected to meet An Yutang here.

"It sounds a bit presumptuous of me, but could you do me a favor?" An Yutang blinked and asked.

For some reason, looking into An Yutang's eyes, Xiao Yue's heart pounded wildly.

She took a deep breath and nodded solemnly: "Yes, it's fine, no problem."

An Yutang smiled gently after hearing this, her smile as warm and comforting as the sunshine: "Thank you."

A short while later.

Zhou Tianyi walked over with a smile. When An Yutang saw Zhou Tianyi, she went up to him and hugged him.

"What's wrong?"

Zhou Tianyi was caught off guard when An Yutang suddenly hugged him.

"It's nothing. It's been a long time. I've missed you dearly," An Yutang said softly, sensing Zhou Tianyi's presence.

Zhou Tianyi released An Yutang and laughed, "Haha, it's getting dark soon, shall we go?"

"Um."

The two walked hand in hand down the palace, while tourists gradually left the square.
