When they set off for Xiabei Town again, there was no longer a body in the woods, and the land had been turned over so that nothing could be seen.
After a moment of silence, the fisherwoman told Li Mai about her background.

“Little sister, when you and your brother-in-law go to the next town, buy your own carriage. We will meet in each town and then meet again in the evening. Don’t be together on the road. I’m afraid they will target you. After all, your family members are all here. If those beasts find out, it won’t be good if they retaliate against you.” Madam Yu said, holding Li Mai’s hand.
Li Mai thought for a moment and nodded, "That's fine, but you should still bring some more people with you in the shadows, just in case you encounter an even more formidable assassin."
“There are people lurking in the shadows, but we can handle them. I won’t let them come out,” said Madam Yu.
Li Mai nodded, "I see."
"You guys don't know this unless you're in the martial world. There's an assassin organization that belongs to me. I'm waiting for an opportunity, a chance to get my revenge." Madam Yu's laughter was somewhat manic at this point.
Li Mai gently took her hand.
Lady Fisher hadn't originally planned to tell Li Mai these things, but since Li Mai had risked her life to help her today, she decided to open up to her and tell her the truth.
Li Mai had also experienced life and death in her previous life, so the fisherwoman's experiences did not frighten her; instead, she felt even more sorry for her.

They arrived in Xiabei Town that afternoon and went straight to the inn.
Afterwards, Li Mai and Zhou Quan secretly moved to another inn and bought a horse-drawn carriage from a local car dealership.
In the evening, the two of them went out for a stroll and found a restaurant to have dinner at. After returning home, Madam Yu delivered a message, telling them to go to the shop at 9:00 AM the next day and then come back to discuss the shop's issues together.
Li Mai responded.
The couple locked the door and went into the space that night. They had prepared a bed and bedding there, but since they didn't have a house, it was fortunate that it wasn't cold.
Zhou Quan said that if they find suitable timber and bricks on the road tomorrow, they will buy some and store them in his space. When he has time, he will build a house for Xiaomai in his space.
