When Li Mai heard him talk about magic tricks, she looked at him.
Zhou Quan reached out and grabbed the basket, placing it on the small table on their couch. Then he picked up three chestnuts, clenched his fist, and put them in his hand.
Water-based spiritual energy instantly circulated in his palm. A few breaths later, he opened his palm, and three roasted chestnuts appeared in front of her, each with its mouth open.

Li Mai smiled; she smelled a scent she liked, and her mood instantly improved.
Zhou Quan said with a smile, "It's time to rest tonight, so I won't let you eat too much. Eat three for now, and I'll do the magic trick for you tomorrow."
Li Mai hummed in agreement, took the peeled chestnut from him, and put it in her mouth. She immediately felt a sense of comfortable satisfaction.
After eating all three, Li Mai felt her depressed mood suddenly disappear.
"Husband, my bad mood has suddenly disappeared, and I feel very happy now." Li Mai slowly felt this change in her feelings.
Zhou Quan smiled and gave a soft "hmm," saying, "Perhaps because your constitution is different from others, your emotions might be more pronounced than others'."
"But don't worry, it's probably just a common phenomenon in pregnant women. We'll ask Mom when we get back tomorrow."
"But next time you're unhappy, be sure to come to me. I have ways to make you happy." Zhou Quan carried her to the couch and whispered his instructions to her.
Li Mai nodded and gave a soft "hmm".
After putting her down, Zhou Quan fetched mouthwash and helped her rinse her mouth. He then fetched hot water for her to wash her face and feet. After washing himself, the two of them lay down to rest.
Both of them were quite tired from their long journey today, so they didn't continue their cultivation and went straight to sleep.
