"Okay!" Zhou Quan nodded. His wife was only saying what was best for the family, so he would listen to her.
After coaxing Li Mai to sleep, Zhou Quan couldn't fall asleep again. He lay with her for a while longer before getting up and going to the bamboo garden.
February 21st is the day to commemorate the two elders of the Xu family. Everyone stopped what they were doing and went to the Xu family to help Xu Shun pay respects to the two elders.

Xu Shun hated the two of them, but not to the point of wanting them to die before they grew up.
Zhou Quan guessed correctly. Xu Shun couldn't stand it anymore. The night before the memorial service, he insisted that the two brothers go back inside and have a hot meal, and then let them go to sleep.
The next day, the day of the burial of Xu's parents, all the Zhou family members went, except for Li Mai. Zhou Quan didn't let her go, telling her to rest at home.
Li Mai would walk around the house, looking at things here and there, and then go back to lie down for a while.
She could feel it herself; her belly seemed to have dropped a little, and her legs and feet were swollen every day.
After lunch, Li Mai lay on the couch, feeling drowsy, when suddenly, a spiritual aura entered her perception range. Li Mai opened her eyes with a start and looked out the window.
There was someone in the tree outside her yard.
