Li Mai raised her hand and looked at her palm. If only her supernatural abilities and spiritual power could come along with her.
“By the way, before the guests arrive, lie down for a bit, and I’ll give you some more acupuncture.” Li Mai said, looking at him.
“Okay!” Zhou Quan replied.
While Li Mai was giving Zhou Quan acupuncture, Zhou Lin brought back his advisor, who was followed by Zhou Lin's master.
Only then did the Zhao family realize that Zhou Lin's master hadn't gone to work either, wanting to wait for his master to arrive and also wanting to see how Li Mai would have him do this.
Old Man Zhou then dismissed the people who had exchanged the fish and welcomed them back into the main house.
Zhou Tao and Zhu Zhu were drying small shrimp in a winnowing basket.
After Zhao went back to her room and brewed a pot of hot tea with the leaves that Li Mai had given her, she went to the kitchen to check on things. She added Zhou Lin's chef, and realized that one stewed chicken dish might not be enough; she would have to prepare two more.

Zhou Lin responded and went out to get the blueprints from his sister-in-law.
Old Man Zhou and Zhou Lin's master were of the same generation and were also members of the Zhou family. They had a good relationship and spoke to each other more casually, but Old Man Zhou was very polite to Zhou Lin's advisor.

Especially when he picked up his teacup to drink, he immediately perked up, "Young man, this tea tastes better than yours. Can you tell what kind of tea it is?"
Zhou Lai Niu chuckled, "Master, the tea at my house is made from herbs that my wife sun-dried herself, so it's definitely different!"
He assumed the Zhou family had bought the tea in town to prepare for their wedding.
Zhou Lai Niu's father was the village's senior doctor. His wives all learned from him how to identify many herbs, and they knew which ones could be used to treat which diseases and which ones could be brewed as tea for health benefits.
His family usually serves medicinal tea to entertain guests. In the summer, because they need to clear heat and reduce internal fire, the medicinal tea they drink is mostly bitter.
His master, on the other hand, disliked bitter things, preferred sweet ones, and even enjoyed drinking sugar water.
