Chapter 64 Stealing Silver in the Middle of the Night

She went to a corner, picked up a few pebbles that Zhuzhu had been playing with during the day, and quietly hid in the shadowy corner near the outhouse.

If the person intends to steal silver from your home, then they will definitely go to the two main rooms.

Sure enough, after waiting for a while, she saw two people tiptoe into the courtyard. Perhaps afraid of being discovered, they moved slowly along the wall towards the main house.

Li Mai didn't move because she heard there were other people outside the gate, so there must have been more than just these two.

The two men tiptoed to the front of the main house and quietly crouched down under the windowsill.

"Run! We've been spotted!" Zhou Chun cried out in fright, turning to run, but a bamboo pole swept across and struck his leg.

"Ouch..."

Zhou Chun screamed in pain and lay on the ground, clutching his leg and rolling around. He felt as if his leg had been broken.

The other three tried to split up and run, but the person opposite them was too fast. After a few blows with the bamboo pole, the four of them lay on the ground groaning in pain.
