After the farce, the tent was quiet.
Old Man Zhou and Mrs. Zhao also came in. They must have heard the news outside. When they came in, they glanced indifferently at Zhou Shu and his wife before walking back to the corner where their own family members were.
Zhou Tao gave each of them an egg, but Zhao Shi pushed it back. She didn't eat her egg, and she didn't eat Li Mai's egg either.

The villagers cried when they went out and saw that the village was flooded.
This is their home where they've lived for decades, and now, after just one night, it's turned into this.
