The two went to the oxcart, and Zhou Quan lifted the bamboo curtain to let Li Mai get on first.
Li Mai waved her hand, and the things that were in the car before were back.
After she went up, she waited for Zhou Quan to come up as well before she tied the bamboo curtain from the inside.
Just as Zhou Quan was about to lie down, Li Mai said, "Close your eyes."

Li Mai handed him the bucket.

“Alright, go take a bath. I won’t add any more herbs to your bath, so you don’t lose control again,” Li Mai said.

He simply lowered his head and plunged into the bathtub, as if that would make him feel more comfortable.

Zhou Quan sat up straight, exhaled, and glanced around. To his surprise, he could hear the sound of splashing water, not the sound of flowing stream, but rather like someone splashing water to wash up.
Was that Xiaomai's voice? But he didn't seem to hear it just now.
Then he heard Li Mai let out a low sigh, “Phew, it feels so good to take a shower. How can I get my family to take a shower too? But there are so many people in the tent, and we can only take out three bowls of water a day.”

Zhou Quan listened in a daze. What was going on? Xiaomai wasn't around him, so why could he hear her voice?

Zhou Quan blushed. This girl!
