Zhou Quan nodded emphatically, "These are all my true thoughts. If I fail to do any of them in the future, may I be struck by lightning."
Li Mai smiled and said, "There's no need to make such a solemn oath. I've said before that the most important thing for everyone is themselves and to love themselves. Only those who take good care of themselves are qualified to take care of and love others."
But your words touched me!
“Since that’s the case, Zhou Quan, then let’s do as you say. You provoked me first. If you can’t do what you say in the future, if you can’t be devoted to me, I will abandon you and disappear, so that you will never see me again or find me.” Li Mai said seriously.
“Okay, if I do something to wrong you first, I will take full responsibility for the consequences. I will chop myself in half first!” Zhou Quan said solemnly with a smile in his eyes.
Seeing his smile, Li Mai reached out and touched his face, saying with a smile, "You should smile more; you look very handsome when you smile."
Zhou Quan smiled and softly agreed.
He really wanted to ask if his smile resembled his teacher's, but he held back. Li Mai didn't mention that the teacher was someone she liked, and asking that question would only make him seem petty.
Li Mai suddenly said, "Bend over."
Zhou Quan instinctively bent down as instructed, and Li Mai quickly kissed him on the lips, saying with a smile, "This is a token of love. It's the 'love' in 'love,' not the 'marriage' in 'marriage.'"
Zhou Quan was stunned for a moment, then overjoyed. He quickly bent down and picked her up. Li Mai subconsciously wrapped her legs around his waist and asked, "Are you sure you can carry me?"
Zhou Quan nodded with a smile, "Yes, after soaking in the spiritual spring water tonight, I feel much more energetic, and I'm not tired even after walking for so long."
Li Mai was relieved to hear that. "Then I'll still put the wheelchair in my space tomorrow!"
Zhou Quan hummed in response, but his eyes unconsciously drifted towards her lips.
He had just received a light kiss from her, and apart from feeling the softness of her lips, he didn't feel anything else.
Seeing his gaze, Li Mai chuckled and, with a thought, carried him out of the carriage.
Suddenly everything went black, and Zhou Quan was startled.
Li Mai took out a quilt and a pillow from her spatial storage, spread them in the oxcart, and pulled him to lie down.
"Go to sleep, goodnight!"
There was only one pillow, and when Zhou Quan lay down on it, he subconsciously moved back a little, leaving half for Li Mai.
But Li Mai didn't use a pillow. Instead, she pulled his arm away, leaned against him, pulled the blanket up, turned to face him, and quickly kissed his lips.
She wanted to back down, but Zhou Quan wouldn't give her the chance.

Zhou Quan cried out in his heart, pulled her closer, and deepened the kiss.
Limai, nestled in his arms, sensed his change and the increasingly rapid beating of his heart.
Li Mai gradually lost herself in his deep kiss. It must be said that the man's kiss was a little awkward at first, as if he was imitating her movements, but soon, with the reaction of his body, his movements became more and more skilled.

Zhou Quan was so ashamed that he didn't dare to say a word. He quietly moved his head back a little, away from Li Mai's neck and shoulders. His face was covered in sweat.
Li Mai subconsciously leaned back a little, and with another thought, he was pulled into the space.
Standing on the grass, neither of them dared to look at the other's face.
"Ahem, go wash up and change your clothes first, I'll come in to pick you up in a bit!" After saying that, Li Mai left the space with a thought.
Zhou Quan stared at Li Mai, who had suddenly disappeared from the spot, and his face instantly turned as red as if it could drip blood.
It's so embarrassing. It's the first time in my life that I've given myself to Xiaomai in such a short and awkward way. Does he think he's not good enough?
As the redness faded, Zhou Quan, looking helpless, went to find a clean pair of underwear, grabbed a basin, and went to the stream to fetch water to wash up.
After washing and changing his clothes, before Li Mai came in, he simply scooped up water and washed all the clothes that the two of them had taken off that night.
After he finished washing, he set up a bamboo rack to hang the clothes to dry. Li Mai hadn't come in yet, and he was a little worried, but he couldn't go out either, so he could only wait silently.
While waiting for Li Mai, he simply arranged his belongings around the house.
After laying out the bamboo mat, they placed the mattress and sheets on top, put the kang table on it, put the books they had been reading under the table, and then put Li Mai's writing brush, ink, paper, and inkstone on the table.
Before Li Mai even came in, he spread out a piece of paper and began to think about how to plan the new village. He first wrote down the names of the more than forty households on the paper, and then wrote down how many people were in each household.
