As dawn broke, Zhou Quan opened his eyes, only to be met with a moment of confusion.
He expected to see a battered and bruised Li Mai, but instead, he saw two heads, one big and one small, peering at him curiously.
"Daddy, you're sleeping in! You got up later than Zhuzhu!" Zhuzhu said to Zhou Quan with a grin.
"Husband, so, what time did you get back last night?" Li Mai asked curiously.
Zhou Quan first subconsciously looked at Zhuzhu. This voice sounded just like the clear voice that called the old man "Grandpa" in his dream!
Looking at Li Mai again, the little girl was standing clean and tidy in front of him, her big eyes curiously looking at him.
Zhou Quan's consciousness gradually returned, and the things he recalled in his dream were still so clear in his mind. It seemed that those were not dreams, but things he had experienced in his past life.
Now that I think about it carefully, all these memories make sense.

"Daddy!" Zhuzhu called out like a kitten, looking at Zhou Quan expectantly, wanting her father to hug her too.
Zhou Quan smiled, remembering the little girl and her grandfather in his dream who lost their lives because of him. He felt guilty and reached out to rub Zhuzhu's head and hug her.
"Alright, Zhuzhu and your mother, go to the yard to exercise first. Your father will be here as soon as he gets dressed," Zhou Quan said to the two of them.
Li Mai responded and went out with Zhu Zhu.
After getting dressed and tidying up the kang (a heated brick bed), Zhou Quan went out into the yard to look for the mother and daughter.
Led by Li Mai, the family practiced a set of boxing techniques before heading towards the courtyard.
Under their guidance, Zhuzhu also started practicing martial arts in the morning. Despite her young age, the little girl is really smart and sensible. Li Mai and Zhou Quan like her more and more.

After all, in the eyes of the world, a married daughter is like water spilled from a bowl. What daughter-in-law would like her mother-in-law to nag all day about what her married daughter likes to eat and ask her to cook more for her?

He was grateful to be reborn as a human being, to have loving and caring parents and siblings, and he hoped that his family would always live in peace and harmony.
