Xu Fan strolled along the crimson corridor, following behind the vice leader of the mysterious organization, and approached the crimson palace.
The previously noisy corridor has now fallen silent, with only the footsteps of Xu Fan, Daisy, and the vice-leader audible.
The blood-red palace was now fully displayed before Xu Fan.
The towering portico was the first thing that caught Xu Fan's eye.
It is carved with intricate sculptures, which seem to tell a story.
A man with blood-red wings and a human woman stood together.
The human and the demon looked like a couple, standing together as if they were inseparable.
The man with blood-red wings and the woman became increasingly intimate.
Later, the two lay down on a patch of straw and began a sexual act.
Meanwhile, some winged children played musical instruments and applauded the two of them.
Xu Fan was gradually drawn to these narrative sculptures, and he even stopped and walked around to the other side to continue looking at them.
Daisy noticed Xu Fan's strange behavior and quickly went up to ask him about it.
"Xu Fan, what's wrong? What are you looking at?"
Xu Fan pointed to the porch, where the sculptures seemed to form a complete story, while the other half of the story was hidden on the other side of the pillar.
That's why Xu Fan turned his head to look for the statue related to the second half of the story.
But there was a huge gap there, as if someone had smashed that part of the statue down.
What followed was quite bizarre; the two races, who had been loving and close, suddenly broke apart.
The man with red wings began to attack the human woman relentlessly.
Meanwhile, the human woman donned armor and carried a spear and shield to confront the man with blood-red wings.
It started as one person, but the number of people depicted in the statue gradually increased.
It eventually turned into a massive war between the two races.
What Xu Fan found even more unbelievable was that the human woman actually won in the end.
The man with blood-red wings was trampled underfoot by the human woman.
The spear in the woman's hand was pointed directly at the man's throat.
The carving technique still needs improvement; only the smug woman's face is visible, while the expression of the man being trampled underfoot is unclear.
Next, the winged man left this land, leaving the surface world to humankind.
The winged man did not compromise; instead, he collected the blood of the fallen human warriors, forming a pool of blood.
Then the blood in the pool increased.
That's because wars between humans on Earth never cease.
Finally, the man with blood-red wings had no choice but to expand the blood pool area again and again.
The blood pool eventually filled all the land he could rule.
With no other option, the winged men built the palace on top of the blood pool, leaving only one entrance to connect it to the outside world.
In the end, the ceaseless struggle of humanity on the surface and the peaceful tranquility underground, led by a tribe with blood-red wings, are revealed.
Xu Fan felt extremely frustrated upon seeing this, because the missing part of the statue was the key to the entire incident.
If the man with blood-red wings represents the vampires, then the human woman represents the entire human race.
The two races were once very close, and even intermarried. So what caused them to break apart and become irreconcilable enemies?
And the most crucial reason seems to have been deliberately sabotaged at this moment.
Since Xu Fan ignored him, Daisy raised his voice and repeated himself.
"Xu Fan, are you obsessed? What are you looking at? Why aren't you talking to me?"
Xu Fan finally came to his senses and voiced the question that had been bothering him.
Daisis was completely unaware of this, since at the time of his birth, vampires were already living in a bottomless pool of blood.
The carvings in the Crimson Palace depict events from the very beginning of the creation of the Bottomless Blood Pool.
Of those people, only the Grand Elder has survived from that time to the present.
The Grand Elder had already disappeared when the mysterious organization attacked the Bottomless Blood Pool.
Some say he was secretly imprisoned by a mysterious organization that wanted to extract information about vampires from him.
Some say that the Grand Elder was trying to protect himself, and that he fled the moment the Bottomless Blood Pool was breached, abandoning his people.
There were many different opinions, and no one knew the exact whereabouts of the Grand Elder.
Those who knew the secrets of the sculpture also vanished completely into the bottomless pool of blood.
"Mortals, do not waste time, for time is very precious to you."
The archdeacon remained motionless at the main entrance, waiting for Xu Fan and the others to approach.
Xu Fan and Daisy then jogged to the gates of the Crimson Palace.
On the crimson palace stood a man with folded wings and a human woman with long, flowing hair, holding a sword and clad in armor.
The two figures, which appear to be sleeping peacefully, are carved on the two gates respectively.
Those were the two vampire progenitors and human progenitors that Xu Fan had seen on the door lintel sculpture.
Their images were also displayed on the gate, demonstrating their prominent status.
As a member of a mysterious organization, the archdeacon was naturally unaware of this history.
So Xu Fan didn't bother asking him anything, and simply followed in his footsteps, slowly pushing open the door.
These two doors seemed to possess immense strength; only those with extraordinary arm strength could push them open.
