Just as Xu Fan was trying his best to understand the situation from Sophia, the previously mild-mannered man came over again.

Sophia recounted the stories behind each dragon skeleton to Xu Fan in great detail, as if reciting a familiar tale.
As they were leaving the enormous bone mound, Sophia suddenly exclaimed, "Hey!"
"What's wrong?"
Sofia said, puzzled:
"There should be another skeleton here, right? Why did it suddenly disappear?"
Following Sophia's gaze, Xu Fan looked down at the ground and saw four huge pits, clearly where the dragon's claws had stepped, but the skeletons on the ground had disappeared.
“This shouldn’t be,” Sofia murmured to herself, “Pete’s remains should be here.”
As Sophia pondered deeply, Xu Fan's eyes held a hint of something unreadable and indescribable.
His hand clenched and unclenched, as if he had never made up his mind.
However, at that moment, a streak of fire shot rapidly toward Sofia.
Xu Fan didn't have time to think. He suddenly drew his Demon-Slaying Sword, the tip of which sliced through the air and swiftly stabbed towards the flames.
Before coming here, Xu Fan had diligently practiced the Huangting Sword Scripture for a period of time. Even though his swordsmanship was still not up to par, he had made some progress.
The sword's edge sliced through the flames, and the sharp sword energy unexpectedly cut the magnificent flames in two.

Xu Fan ignored the man and turned to look at the frightened Sophia.

Sophia gripped Xu Fan's clothes tightly and shook her head vigorously:
"I'm fine."
After a moment, he whispered to Xu Fan:
"Brother, he's very strong. If you can't beat him, you should leave."
Xu Fan smiled and patted Sophia's head: "Silly girl, now that you've called me brother, how can I abandon you?"
The man with the rose pinned to his chest turned grim when he saw that Xu Fan had no intention of leaving.
He snapped his fingers, and the air inexplicably became hot.
"You dare to use such trivial skills?"
Xu Fan chuckled and swung his demon-slaying sword, causing a huge figure to appear out of thin air behind him.
"Break!"
As Xu Fan's sword moved, the giant behind him suddenly clenched his fist.
The oppressive heat in the air vanished into thin air, as if nothing had ever happened.
"It seems you're the one who stole the remains!"
The man roared, transforming into a dragon and exhaling a breath of dragon fire at Xu Fan.
The aura of this dragon's breath was much stronger than the previous flames, and even Xu Fan dared not be too careless.
"The Yellow Court Sword Scripture, a rainbow piercing the sun!"
A dazzling burst of light suddenly erupted from the Demon-Slaying Sword, colliding violently with the dragon's breath.
