Chapter 89: Restless

Chapter 89: Restless

"You're early."

Jiang Ran joked, stood up and poured him some wine, filling the bowl in one go.

"Since you two have been waiting for so long, I will punish myself by serving three bowls of wine."

Chu Li was careless and thought he had misread the time, so he accepted the punishment without hesitation. In fact, it was still half an hour before the agreed time.

Seeing that the princess was also there, he did not ask too many questions and did not show any shyness. In just a quarter of an hour, he was persuaded by them to drink six or seven large bowls of wine.

The princess and Jiang Ran took turns finding excuses to toast him. Chu Li drank a lot but remained calm.

The princess pulled her under the table and signaled with her eyes, "Why aren't you drunk yet? Is there something wrong with the wine?"

Jiang Ran shook his head in confusion. The wine from Zuixianlou shouldn't be diluted with water.

Seeing that Chu Li was not drunk at all, she made up her mind, picked up his wine jar, poured herself a small cup, and toasted Chu Li again.

Chu Li picked up the bowl and drank it in one gulp as if he was drinking water.

Jiang Ran also picked up the wine glass and took a sip. His throat felt hot and it took him a long time to swallow it.

This is definitely not diluted with water, but how can he drink so much?

They didn't know that Chu Li couldn't stand drinking, and he had been forced to drink too much in the army, so even if he was drunk, it was difficult to tell that he was drunk.

Since Jiang Ran was the host, he tried to show off and drank quickly. In fact, he was already half drunk.

The princess was afraid that he would not get drunk, so she gave him several more bowls of wine.

"I can't drink much, and I'm afraid of losing my manners after getting drunk. I really can't drink any more." Chu Li realized it belatedly, and when he politely declined, he was already drunk.

When Lu Weiqing arrived, Chu Li was already drunk and sleeping soundly on the table.

Jiang Ran was even more drunk, with two blushes on his face. He pulled the princess and insisted on singing a song for her.

So when he pushed the door open, Princess Le'an, the only sober person, stood up instantly, looked at Lu Weiqing with an uneasy expression, and just wanted to shout for help.

"Lord Lu Lu Lu, why, why are you here?" The princess stammered and groaned inwardly.

She hugged Jiang Ran and secretly pinched her waist, praying that Jiang Ran would wake up quickly.

She can't handle Lu Weiqing alone!

Unexpectedly, although Jiang Ran was confused, he moved quickly and slapped her on the back of her hand with a crisp sound.

"Lu Weiqing! You bullied me again." Jiang Ran mistook the princess for Lu Weiqing, muttered, and pushed her away.

The real Lu Weiqing took her and carried her sideways.

Looking at Lu Weiqing's murderous cold eyes, the princess smiled bitterly and swore to the heavens, "I really didn't force her to drink it. She drank it herself, and she really only took a sip."

"Let's go." He said lightly, turned around and left with the person in his arms.

The poor princess didn't bring any followers with her in order to hide her tracks. She could only pull Chu Li up by herself and stumble to find a carriage.

On the other side, Lu Weiqing carried Jiang Ran into the carriage and poured her a cup of tea to help her sober up.

Jiang Ran didn't answer, but just stared at him with a silly smile.

He handed the teacup to her lips, and Jiang Ran lowered her head and sipped it like a kitten.

Seeing that she was still staring at him intently, Lu Weiqing reached out and wiped the water stains from her lips, "Do you know who I am?"

"You are my husband. I'm not drunk, of course I know." Jiang Ran raised his face and answered proudly.

Lu Weiqing stared at her moist and delicate lips, and rubbed his knuckles slowly on her lips with indescribable tenderness and affection.

Yesterday's memories flashed back to Jiang Ran, his eyes sparkling with light. He subconsciously imitated him, opening his lips and pursing his fingertips.

The two pointed little canine teeth bit lightly, leaving shallow tooth marks.

Lu Weiqing hadn't expected her to do this, and she groaned when she was bitten. As if encouraged, she extended her tongue again and licked the tooth mark.

He shuddered, he was almost driven crazy by her.

Jiang Ran's reaction was very slow after being drunk. He glanced at him in confusion, but still held on tightly.

Lu Weiqing could only gently pinch her jaw and coax her to open her mouth.

But as soon as he pulled his hand out, Jiang Ran lost his balance and fell suddenly into his arms.

Lu Weiqing immediately went to support her, but her forehead still hit his shoulder, and a half-moan of pain escaped from her lips.

Subconsciously rubbing her head, she closed her eyes and sniffed his shoulders and back, completely unaware that she was smelling the alcohol on her own body.

"Stinky...bath." Jiang Ran complained and tried to push him away.

Lu Weiqing was afraid that she would bump into the car wall, so he hugged her and leaned against her shoulder to comfort her. Jiang Ran struggled at first, but soon she fell into a daze and fell asleep.

She opened her eyes only after being carried into the house, but she was still not very conscious and just kept asking for a bath.

Lu Weiqing originally wanted Taoli to wash her, but Jiang Ran grabbed his sleeve and refused to let go, yelling at him to wash it.

He gritted his teeth, pinched her soft, boneless little hand, and said fiercely, "Don't regret it."

Jiang Ran narrowed his eyes and looked at his expression, then clapped his hands and laughed, "You are pretending. I won't regret it."

He tensed his body, carefully took off her clothes, and carried her into the bathtub.

Although he deliberately avoided looking, the fair and delicate snow-white skin lingered in his mind, and the touch between his fingers made it even more difficult for him to endure.

Seeing that he was walking on thin ice, Jiang Ran felt playful and scooped up two handfuls of water and poured them in front of him.

Lu Weiqing couldn't dodge in time, and his shirt got slightly wet, with the semi-transparent fabric sticking to his body.

She seemed curious and reached out to touch the two bright red spots, forcing him to tie her wrists with a shawl before she behaved herself.

After taking a refreshing bath, Jiang Ran felt comfortable.

Lu Weiqing was sweating and breathing heavily, with a blush spreading from his face to inside his snow-white undershirt, as if countless tiny ants were crawling there, making it very uncomfortable.

He ordered someone to prepare cold water and soaked in it for fifteen minutes before he felt better.

But as soon as he returned to the room, he knew that the cold shower was in vain.

Jiang Ran became particularly clingy after getting drunk, hugging him like an octopus, moving his mouth from time to time and mumbling a few words vaguely.

Every time Lu Weiqing felt a little sleepy, she would lean over and kiss him, sometimes on the cheek, sometimes on the forehead, sometimes on the corner of the lips, without any pattern.

When she was sucking his earlobe in a daze, Lu Weiqing couldn't bear it anymore. He pressed her under him and kissed her like a storm.

She couldn't help but breathe heavily, and her words were intermittent and incoherent.

Lu Weiqing stopped and leaned close to her lips to listen. After a while, he finally understood what she said: "I'm not drunk, keep drinking."

Knowing that she was drunk and unconscious, he really didn't want to take advantage of her, so he lay down beside her and silently chanted the Heart Clearing Mantra. The boiling blood in his body gradually cooled down.

But she was used to having someone by her side, so she groped and hugged him. Her warm breath brushed against the back of his neck, and the muscles that had just relaxed were instantly tense as hard as a rock.

"A Ran?" He called her in a hoarse voice.

Jiang Ran responded vaguely and was about to turn over and go to sleep.
