Chapter 138 Fellow Daoists of Maoshan, Go Fight the Zombies!

Little Bean stood anxiously at the door, looking at the time, which was almost nine o'clock. He wondered if Granny Ma and the others had woken up yet.

Half the time had passed, and it was 9:30. Little Bean couldn't resist knocking on the door any longer.

"Bang bang bang!"

Ma Lihua opened the door, glanced at the time, and then frowned and said, "Grandpa Douzi, why didn't you call us at nine o'clock? We've already been delayed."

Little Bean: "??????"

"Didn't you guys get an alarm clock?"

"No, didn't my grandma say that you should wake us up at nine o'clock? Why set an alarm?" Ma Lihua asked, puzzled.

Little Bean; "……………………"

I was just afraid of bothering you! Is it my fault?

"Wait! I'm going to wake up my grandma and mom." Ma Lihua slammed the door shut.

"Mom, Grandma! Wake up, it's time." Ma Lihua patted her mother's arm.

The two woke up slowly, still half asleep. "Sigh! This money is really hard to earn!" Ma Linghua sighed.

Black Wind Village is better; they can sleep until they naturally wake up. However, when there's work to be done, they are very principled.

After the three of them finished getting ready, Ma Hehua opened the door and saw Xiaodouzi standing at the door like a door god.

"Brother Dou, let's go!" Ma Hehua's rough voice almost scared Little Dou to death.

This "Brother Dou" makes it sound like we're sworn brothers.

The group set off again, a dark mass of people. The night was filled with the hoarse cries of the Night Elves; there were only a few at first, but a whole flock followed.

It was a bit annoying and made me feel uneasy; the sensation of it rubbing against my scalp gave me goosebumps.

"What are you yelling about? It's the middle of the night, can't you sleep?" Ma Hehua was getting annoyed by the noise.

I hadn't slept enough, and this damn thing is making so much noise.

The night was filled with rustling sounds as nocturnal animals came out to hunt for food, making the nights in this tea mountain particularly dangerous.

The sound of their footsteps echoed loudly on the stone path; it was almost ten o'clock when they reached the tea mountain.

"Captain, do you think they might come?"

"have no idea."

"Should we still wait?"

"Let's wait two more hours and see, maybe we'll find something!"

Li Huanghe lay prostrate in the weeds surrounding the tomb. He wasn't the only one; there were people all around him, including several Taoists and a special operations team from the state, totaling about a dozen people.

The black zombie on this side also set off. He was quite fast. By the time he arrived, the three members of the Ma family had not yet arrived.

Instead of the Ma family, the group was greeted by a black zombie. They swallowed hard, staring at the tall, imposing, black-haired zombie, and none of them dared to utter a sound.

If we don't make a sound, won't we be exposed? Just kidding, Black Zombie's nose is very sensitive; it's been absorbing a lot of essence from the sun and moon lately, so it's become much clearer.

Black Zombie walked to his gravesite, looked at the disturbed coffin, and was furious. "Roar roar roar roar..." he roared violently.

Then a strange smile appeared on his face.

Li Huanghe had a very bad feeling; it seemed like something was about to happen.

Sure enough, his guess was correct; soon, a scream rang out from the crowd.

"Ah! Help! Help me, help me!" One of the team members was pulled a great distance away by something, at an incredible speed.

Everyone tensed up, and Li Huanghe immediately spoke into his headset, "Attention, attention, there's an emergency, everyone be careful."

It hasn't been discovered what it is yet, until one of Li Huanghe's teammates had an accident, at which point he finally saw it clearly.

The black zombie gave him a terrifying look, then suddenly dragged the team member into the bushes, followed by screams of agony.

Sweat beaded on his forehead. "Warning, warning! It's a black zombie! It's attacking us! Everyone be careful!" Li Huanghe's face darkened. This beast was truly despicable.

"Fellow Daoists of Maoshan, why aren't you catching the zombies yet?"

"That's right! Let's make a move quickly!"

"The reputation of Maoshan depends on you, go!"

Several Taoist priests urged him to go, but Guo Taotao, seeing him dawdling, decided to go all out and kicked him out.

Maoshan Taoist priest; "……………………"

Have some decency!

As luck would have it, he bumped right into the black zombie's chest. He looked up and saw the black zombie grinning at him. Yes, it was grinning.

The Maoshan Taoist priest said, "Hey! What a coincidence! The weather's nice today, hehe...heh!" Then he suddenly turned and ran away, "Bye-bye! Let whoever wants to take this black zombie take it, I'm no match for them anyway."

That's it?

The black zombie was stunned for a moment, then came to its senses. It was a waste not to eat the food that was already in its mouth, so it quickly chased after the Maoshan Taoist priest.

All the Taoist priests breathed a sigh of relief.

"Do you think this black zombie has a corpse pill or not?" Changqing asked.

"I don't know. Unless you peel open his chest, who would know!"

"Pry open his chest? Are you all still asleep? This is a Black Zombie! In this resource-poor world of Daoist arts, how many can stand against him?" Guo Taotao was a sensible person. Seeing this, they could only run away. Fight? Like an egg hitting a rock? Overestimating themselves.

Everyone fell silent. Even the elders in the Taoist temple might have a chance, but... it was just a chance.

Maoshan Taoist priest; "……………………"

So why did you ask me to catch zombies? What a despicable woman.

"Damn it, why are you always chasing me? Don't come any closer!" The Taoist priest from Maoshan ran as fast as he could, with the black zombie close behind.

"Roar roar roar roar..."

He didn't know what they were saying, the only thing he knew was that he couldn't stop, or he'd be finished.
