Wu Lao Er could feel as if an invisible hand was tightly gripping his throat, making it almost impossible for him to breathe.
His mind went blank; his only thought was that he absolutely could not be discovered by Pan Ting.
Pan Ting's voice rang out again, "Second Brother, do you think you'll be safe just by hiding from me? I can smell your scent and feel your fear." Her tone was laced with sarcasm and mockery, as if she were enjoying this cat-and-mouse game.

A strange smile played on her lips, and her eyes gleamed with madness.
Unable to endure the torment of fear any longer, Wu Lao Er let out a desperate scream, "No!"
Pan Ting, however, drew closer step by step, her figure appearing even taller and more terrifying in the moonlight.
Wu Lao Er desperately retreated until he had nowhere left to go.
"Second Brother, the game is over." Pan Ting stretched out her hand, her slender fingers like the claws of a demon, reaching for Wu Lao Er, and excitedly sticking out her scarlet forked tongue.
