Chapter 212 Lan Niang's Frustration

The woman thought for a moment and said, "How about we talk face-to-face? What do you think?"

“Okay, how about the round-trip transportation, accommodation, and food expenses?” Ma Linghua wasn’t going to do business at a loss.

The woman was taken aback for a moment, then immediately said, "Mistress Ma, don't worry, I've already packed it all for you. Could you please come quickly?"

"hurry up?"

"Ah! Yes! This matter in my family can't be delayed any longer, or someone will die," the woman said fearfully.

"We can go faster, but we'll have to pay more!"

woman:"…………………………"

"Fairy, money is no problem. As long as you can come, I'll cover all your expenses."

"Alright! But we need to agree on a price first. We'll make the purchase after we've agreed on a price. I'm making this clear now: if you try to renege on the deal, you'll have to bear the consequences," Ma Linghua said coldly.

“Okay, we accept it all. When will you arrive, Fairy Ma?” the woman asked anxiously.

"I'll be there this afternoon, send me your location!"

The three of them stared at the location sent to them for a long time.

"Grandma, do you know where this is?"

"I don't know, I've never been there, but there's always a way."

Ma Lihua: "…………………………"

"Mother, I have a plan. Getting to this place will be a piece of cake for us." Ma Hehua said slyly, with a lewd smile on her face.

The grandmother and grandson could hardly bear to look at each other.

"Tell me about it," Ma Linghua said, looking at her with a sly grin.

"Why don't we just ride the ghost bus? It ignores the terrain and goes incredibly fast!" Besides, they don't have to pay; it's free!

"That's right!" Hearing her say that, the others suddenly understood and showed a relieved smile.

Lan Niang felt a chill down her spine. She turned around, but there was nothing there. She was a ghost, so who would be standing behind her?

"Lan Niang, what are you doing? Hurry up and play your card!" Several ghosts were playing mahjong and were stunned by Lan Niang's actions, so they urged her on.

The atmosphere at the mahjong table was tense and exciting, with Lan Niang staring intently at her hand.

However, as she was playing, she suddenly felt that something was wrong with her.

At first, an indescribable itching sensation came from all parts of her body, as if countless tiny insects were gently biting her skin.

Lan Niang tried to ignore the feeling and continue to focus on the game, but the itching became more and more intense.

They're all ghosts, so why do I feel like I'm being bitten by bugs?

She unconsciously shifted her body, trying to alleviate the strange discomfort.

But then, her body began to tremble violently, and she almost dropped the mahjong tiles in her hands. Fine beads of sweat appeared on her forehead, and her face turned pale.

The other card players around Lan Niang noticed her unusual behavior and cast concerned glances at her.

"Lan Niang, what's wrong? Are you alright?" a fellow card player asked with concern.

Lan Niang forced a smile despite her discomfort and said, "It's nothing, I'm just a little numb from sitting for too long."

However, she felt increasingly uneasy. The gnawing sensation hadn't disappeared; instead, it seemed to be intensifying.

Her hands trembled more and more violently, and her breathing became rapid.

She tried to take a few deep breaths to calm herself down, but the itching and trembling seemed to have penetrated deep into her bones, making it difficult for her to control herself.

Her eyes began to glaze over, her thinking seemed to become sluggish, and she lost her usual decisiveness when playing cards.

At that moment, she felt as if her body was no longer under her control.

Each tremor felt like a small earthquake erupting inside her, and the ever-present itching drove her almost mad.

The noise of people playing mahjong around her gradually faded from her ears, and her world seemed to consist only of that unbearable physical reaction.

Lan Niang was filled with fear and helplessness. She didn't know what was wrong with her or why such a strange and terrifying situation was happening at the mahjong table.

"You guys go first, I have something to do, so I won't fight." Lan Niang's face showed some panic.

She tried to stand up, wanting to leave the card table to seek help, but her legs felt as heavy as lead, barely able to support her body.

Seeing this, her fellow card players quickly stepped forward to help her up, and someone suggested that she be taken to see the Ghost Doctor immediately.

With the help of others, Lan Niang struggled to leave the mahjong table.

Her heart was filled with doubt and worry, not knowing what was wrong with her body.

But just then, a familiar voice rang out, "Lan Niang, why don't you come see me at once?"

Her pupils dilated; that familiar voice belonged to Ma Hehua.

She dared not delay for a moment, as if a thread was pulling her, making her very clear that she was heading towards the Ailao Mountains.

However, she did not go up the mountain, but instead paced anxiously at the foot of the mountain because she could not get up.

Ma Lihua watched as her mother stuck many needles into the little paper figure, her eyelids twitching. What kind of hatred could there be!

No wonder Lan Niang felt unwell all over; anyone would feel uncomfortable after being pricked with so many needles!

"Lotus, is your ghost magic any good? When I asked you to practice before, you didn't do it properly. Now you always mess up at crucial moments. What are you good for? If you can't do it, you can go feed the pigs!" Ma Linghua said expressionlessly.

"Feed the pigs? No! I won't feed them, Mom, wait for me, I'll be right there." With that, she suddenly grabbed a needle and unleashed a series of lightning-fast punches on the paper figure.

"Ah...it hurts...it hurts so much...ah! Stop...Taoist Master, please stop messing with me!"
